Beginning of a Journey

"If it's exactly on time? About ten minutes," Reena replied. She picked up her phone again and set it on her lap.

"Huh, okay." Wolf says.

He pushes himself up to his feet and stretches out again, lifting his arms over his head while pushing up onto his toes as well. Once done, he relaxes again and looks towards Reena.

"I think I'll go and find a bathro, no... a washroom to use before it arrives." he says.

Reena nodded.
"Sure, go ahead. There'll probably be a bathroom on the train, too, but it's good to go on and go beforehand," she replied.

Wolf nods then moves away from the bench and heads back inside the station.

Reena decided to stand up and stretch as well once Wolf had gone. She stretched her arms out in front of her and swished her curled tail back and forth a couple of times.
The Klee Kai peered up and down the track, her ears perked high to listen for the sound of an approaching train, but she could hear nothing for the time being. She kept close to the bench for now, awaiting either the train or Wolf.

Wolf was gone for almost ten minutes,having tracked down and made use of the washroom facilities in the train station. He then makes his way back outside to the train platform. In the distance, the sounds of an approaching train can be heard. Wolf makes his way back over the the bench Reena is waiting at.

Bored of waiting, Reena had moved closer to the edge of the train platform, snapping a couple of pictures of the empty tracks, as well as taking a selfie or two with her actual camera. By the time Wolf came back and the train could be heard making its way towards the station, Reena was waiting with her camera to take photos of the train as it came into view.

Wolf returns to the bench to find that Reena wasn't there. He looks around and quickly spots her closer to the tracks. He glances in the direction of the train, as it approaches the platform and passengers begin to line up on the platform as well.

Reena only took a couple of photos of the approaching train before turning and making her way back over to the bench. Once there, she quickly put away her camera, then started to pick up her bags.
"'Bout ready to take your first train ride?" she asked Wolf as she started to layer the three bags across herself as she had done earlier.

"Yeah, I suppose so." Wolf replies, "It's too late to back out."

He watches the train as it slows and comes to a stop at the platform.

"Nah, you could still run for the hills if you wanted to," Reena teased as she finished adjusting her bags.
"But it'd be rude now if you did," she added. She started to head towards one of the lines forming to board the train.

Wolf follows Reena and lines up behind her, along with many other passengers on the platform, while other passengers disembark from the train. Once the flow of outgoing passengers stop, the train attendant there waves the waiting passengers on board.

"Now, there'll be someone who will come by to take our tickets once we get in our seats," Reena explained, glancing back at Wolf. "So just hold onto your ticket for now, mmkay?"

"Oh, alright." Wolf says, "Are we going to find our own place to stay on here?"

"Well, I'll show my ticket to the person there that's letting people on the train and they can tell us where to go from here," Reena replied, continuing to follow the line.

Wolf nods to her and resumes following her in line. After a minute, Reena reaches the front of the line. The attendant there smiles at her.

"Ticket please." he says.

"Mhmm!" Reena replied, smiling in return as she withdrew her ticket and presented it to the attendant.
She also gestured over her shoulder to Wolf, adding, "He's with me, too."

The attendant checks her ticket.

"Alright, head on in and turn left and head down the train. Another attendant there will direct you to your seating area." the attendant tells her as he returns her ticket.

Wolf then steps up and offers his ticket to the attendant. The attendant accepts it, but looks at the sword Wolf is carrying warily.

"You ticket is in order sir, but you're going to have to turn over you weapon for storage." he says, "We can't have you traveling through the train openly displaying something like that. It would likely panic some of the passengers."

Wolf glances down at his sword.

"Oh... well, who would I turn it over to?" he asks.

"You'll have to go and see another attendant closer to the front of the train. They will be able to take care of it there." the attendant replies.

Wolf looks over at Reena to hear her thoughts on the matter.

"I probably shoulda thought of that," Reena admitted sheepishly as Wolf looked to her. "We can do that first, then go to our seats," she said, starting to move out of the line to go to the front of the train.

"Just head up to the second train car." the attendant tells them.

Wolf follows after Reena.

"No one said anything like that in any places we visited here." he tells her.

"Well, it makes sense," Reena replied, "Like how you can't have weapons on a plane at all. It's a safety precaution."

"Oh... well, I guess that makes sense." he says, "I wasn't planning on using it on anyone."

"Well yeah, but they don't know that," Reena pointed out, "You could be a psycho serial killer for all they know."

"Hmmm..." Wolf replies quietly.

Over at the second train car, there is a small group of people turning over a variety of items to the attendants for storage

"Whiiiich you're not, right?" Reena teased, nudging Wolf lightly with the back of her paw as she joined the group in whatever she could make out to be a line.
