Beginning of a Journey

( OOC: I don't like to double post, but I don't really see anyway around it at the moment.

It's been three days since the last post went up, so I'm suggesting that we move past Shrike Marine for the moment so that we don't stall the rp any further. He can post and rejoin events at his earliest convenience.

( Whoops) -Shrike was going to pay for the drinks but since every mobian fled the bar he was in and after repeated attempts to summon the bar man he decides to hell with it and enters the street. Probably not the best idea he had as heads turned and stared at the armored figure making his way through the populated area of the city. passing right by the place they were at. However failed to spot them it was only a matter of moments before sirens went off.-

(SORRY!) Levi looked at his watch. "Oh! The trains about to get here."

((Happens to the best of us!))

As she expected, there was no smile from Wolf in the picture, though Levi turned out well enough. Reena smiled, clicking her phone off and simply holding it in her paw.
The canine's ears perked up as she could hear sirens approaching in the distance. But the rest of the town was on the other side of the train station from where she, Levi, and Wolf currently were, so it was impossible to tell really where the sirens were headed or what they were responding to...
Her curious thoughts were drawn away from that, though, as Levi made mention of a train arriving promptly.

"Oh?" she asked, peering up and down the tracks for the train. Her ears lowered down to either side of her head as she noted the time on her phone.
"Well, it can't be the one me and Wolf are taking. Our train isn't due to get here until 3:00. And that's still about two hours away," she said.
Reena turned her attention back to Levi. "What time is your train going to get here?" she asked him.

Wolf's ears perk up as well, and he grows a little tense at the sound of sirens in the distance. He stands up and moves away from the bench the hedgehog and canine are sitting at, looking back in the direction of the town. He seems to ignore the conversation going on nearby as he listens more intently on the sirens, trying to determine where they were coming from and, more importantly to him, where they were going.

-Shrike picks up the sounds his totally state of the art combat helmet indication multiple blips closing on his position.- 

" Law Enforcement...guess no break for the strong "

- This is when Shrike demonstrates something never seen in any other human beings his radical reaction time. With the ability to evade blockades from G.U.N , shots were fired that is when panic ripped clean open. Of course Shrike returned shots back at G.U.N forces..carefully making sure civilians were not in the cross fire he begins heading for the station..know that hitching the train would be his best option now to flee.- 

" S.o'bs are every where...they getting a bit better at this hunt down."

"In about......now." Levi stood up. "Nice to meet you." He got onto his train and left.

Reena scarcely had opportunity to bid any farewell to their temporary travel companion before he hurried off onto the train that had just arrived. It seemed he was on it practically the moment its doors opened. She was left standing there, a bit surprised at the sudden departure.
"Um... Bye...?" she replied hesitantly, far too late for Levi to have heard her before he'd scurried away. The canine turned her attention to Wolf.
"Well, so much for a caravan, huh?" she commented to him.

Wolf doesn't even glance over at the canine. He was still staring back towards town, straining to hear any more sounds from the activity taking place there over the sound of the train having recently arrived and the people boarding and departing from it. He frowns slightly as he thinks that the sounds occurring in town were actually approaching the train station.

-And indeed he was right the sounds were coming closer out to there far left a very similar green figure came hurtling out from the exit of the station Leaping off of the platform grabbing the tail end of the train. It was him the same guy they had crossed paths with earlier. Using it as a speed method. Before the train could reach full speed the armored figure leaps off the train into bushes and shrubs..finally loosing the enforcement squad that was hot on his tail.-

Upon receiving no response, Reena furrowed her brow. She could only faintly hear the sirens from before now over the sounds of the train station and was no longer very focused on them as much as she was on the hedgehog's speedy exit.
"Wolf? Hello in there?" she prompted him, taking a step towards the wolf.
Before she could press any further for his attention, the sound and sight of a flurry of activity caught her attention as the Klee Kai spotted the soldier from earlier suddenly burst out of the train station and leap onto the back of the train.
It made her eyes widen and her ears perk up, but by the time she could activate her phone's camera again, he'd already vanished into the bushes beyond the railroad tracks. She did, however, manage to snap a picture or two of the law enforcement that arrived promptly after him.

Wolf still hardly pays any attention to the canine as he continues to follow the sounds of the sirens.

"Here they come..." he says softly, just after the canine had asked her question of him.

A short time later the green clad person they'd run into earlier burst out from the station entrance, leaped onto the train and moments later back off to the other side of the tracks. Wolf whirls to face the direction that strange person had arrived from and crouches slightly as they head through and disappear. He remains a bit tense as other individuals seemingly in pursuit of that guy, came out of the station and did their best to maintain their pursuit, even though they were obviously falling behind.

-Shrike was well out of sight by this time. Thinking he had boarded the train the law enforcement decide to chase it. Leaving the rouge behind hiding in the brush hoping no one really payed that much attention to his little stunt he just pulled off.- 

" Well that was close. more close then I had hoped...well lets see...Shrike 50..Law Enforcement...0  "

Reena merely continued to look on from where she stood on the train platform. She furrowed her brow as she noted the pursuers chasing after the train as though they didn't realize their target had vanished into the foliage.
The canine considered calling out and pointing them in the right direction, but... something told her perhaps it would be best to stay out of the situation.

Wolf looks over at the canine.

"So... it looks like he made his way into town after all." he says, "Causing a fair amount of trouble too."

He then looks back in the direction the stranger had disappeared.

"I wonder if we should be concerned that he's coming back?" he asks.

-After the Law enforcement had left the area a head popped out of the bushes scanning the area around him. It was Shrike who had some twigs stuck in his helmet vents and looked rather silly. Unfortunately the bush he had hit in was non other then a thorn bush so lots of ouches were heard as he made his way out of and began to leave the town. Of course in plain sight to every one stand at the station. Seems a little more info about who this masked figure was had been revealed....the fact that he was wanted by Law Enforcement encouraged the fact he was hiding something.-

"I guess only if the cops start chasing us, too, right?" Reena suggested.
As the group in pursuit went off after the train, she spotted a head poking out of the bushes near where the soldier had leapt into the foliage. On impulse, she raised up her phone and snapped a picture, then a couple more as Shrike re-emerged from the shrubs. Once he started to walk away, she lowered her phone back down again.
"And there he goes again," she commented.

"Strange..." Wolf says, "I guess he did whatever he came to do and now that he's had his... 'fun' I suppose, he's decided to go."

He looks over at the canine as the soldier begins to walk away.

-Stealthy he slips away into the undergrowth. Leaving unanswered questions scattered through the minds of the civilians but it was known for one thing something big had to of gone down for his capture by G.U.N forces. G.U.N didn't tackle small things like this. This...masked soldier had to of done something really big to warrant there attention on the mater. However getting him to speak let alone finding him was the hard part.-

"Could be. Makes you wonder what's going on that's got so many people after the guy," Reena said with a shrug of her shoulders. She snorted softly. "And why he doesn't just wear a disguise instead of being so obvious, y'know?" she added in afterward.
She reached around to her back pocket, slipping her phone out of sight again.

"It does seem like a... a mystery." Wolf says, "I guess he must have his reasons."

"Everybody does."
Reena looked back at Wolf again.
"And I guess it's just you and me again, huh?" she commented, stepping back over closer to the bench where she'd left her laptop.

"Yeah, it's back to us." he replies, "And just after you had appeared to make a new friend here too."

He moves over to the bench as well, but he doesn't look like he's going to take a seat yet.

Reena plopped down onto the bench, the wood creaking briefly under the sudden weight.
"Yeah, well I'm sure he had somewhere important to go to," she said.
She picked up her laptop and opened it, pressing one button to boot it up.

"Uh huh." Wolf replies, "I guess we'll just have to wait and see if anything else comes up while we're waiting here."
