"Father is back home protectin everyone from ratchets attacks. When father told us about this in hour time he gave us a time relic to come back and fufill our part to protect you and dad in time. Ruby and nova, their dad's little princesses and they have been able to keep ratchet from entering the village. And dad is in a struggle with ratchet as we speak neither of them able to kill the other. It has been five years since last time I saw the father I know" ignis said

"We came here in hopes to keep daemon from altering history. Cause if we aren't born ratchet will destroy what's left of kitnsui in order to snuff out the last bit of resistance keeping him from controlling the world" Skoll said

That explanation did make her sit on the couch, trying to take it all in. It seemed as if nothing changed with Ratchet at all, still trying to conquer the world again, even if he had to conquer death many times before then. She sighed. "I see..." but then something piqued her interest. "...What do you mean it's been five years since the last time you saw Az like he was? Did something happen to him?" she asked, sounding a little worried now.

"Father has been fighting ratchet non stop for five years. Ratchet actually agreed to his terms of fighting one on one. That doesn't stop him from sending daemon to harrass us." Skoll said.

"Skoll and I manage to keep you and the girls safe in the house" ignis said

She sighed to herself. "No matter what I do, no matter what paths I take, I always end up here. Never escaping his clutches." she gave a silent growl before she gave a soft look in their direction. "So you guys really came all this way..."

Roxy moved so she could kneel beside them at their height. "I owe you thanks after all, so...thank you." she offered a smile.

They both shook their heads. "You don't owe us anything mom." Ignis said. "We're your kids it's what we do"

Skoll remained silent his eyes filling with tears. "Can I ask you something mother?" He said.

Roxanne looked to him and noticed the tears, instantly becoming concerned. She scooted closer to him on the couch, avoiding his legs so he could still lie down. "Anything." she said gently, tempted to put a hand on his shoulder.

Skoll almost look like a child. "Are you and dad gonna be alright.... Are you gonna make sure that we exsist..."

Ignis smiled. "Easy Skoll... Your losing your image."

"I don't care... I can stop acting like a tough guy for once in my life!"

Roxy decided to go with her instincts, as she moved forward to wrap her arms around him, cradling the back of his head gently. "Hey, it's ok. We'll be fine..." she suddenly chuckled as she started stroking his head to calm him. "We always are. Though we probably won't be having kids anytime soon...I'll make sure of it. I mean, I haven't known you two for long and I already adore you." she said honestly, as she reached out to pull Ignis into the embrace.

Ignis and Skoll both hugged her. "Thanks mom" they said at once.

Azrael appeared as he head daemon still impaled on his sword and staved the sword into th wall to keep him there. "So did they already tell you roxy?

Ignis spoke for his father. "Trust me mother. It's better if hes pinned down. He is ratchets son"

Azrael sighed. "Ezra said to leave it to her. Says this happens all the time"

Roxanne pulled away from them eventually, looking to him. "I guess." she sighed before getting up from the couch. "Jeez, what a night...didn't even give Ezra our compliments." she chuckled a little, brushing down her dress briefly before she looked to Azrael again, trying her best to ignore the impaled body against their wall.

Roxanne watched him head outside, before she composed herself, walking over to Azrael to pull him into an embrace; wrapping her arms around his middle, her head resting on his chest as she sighed. "I'm so glad you're okay..." Roxy breathed. "...you have no idea how hard it was to stay outside like you said, I was just so worried about you..." she hugged him tighter, closing her eyes.

Azrael held her close. " it's alright.. I'm just trying to keep my family safe.."

Skoll tried to sit up groaning a little. "Ow... Damn black magic..."

She still remained in his arms, as she looked over to Skoll with a sympathetic look on her face, before it soon turned to sadness when a thought crossed her mind. "How long is it before all of you have to return to your own timeline?..." she asked disappointedly, knowing that what they told her, they would have to return soon due to the attacks.

"It may be a couple days. The relic needs time to charge, plus we need to kill daemon before we go. Otherwise he might just come right back here an try to kill you again" skoll said. "However ignis has hope he can save him... Make him change his ways. I let him try cause he's my brothr... But I have little hope that daemon will ever change"

Roxanne couldn't help but let a small smile crawl across her face as she looked down. Ignis really did remind her of Maxus. After all, he had that same attitude when it came to her, ever since the tournament, Max had tried to make her change her ways and create a more positive outlook on the world. He never gave up on her. And in the end, he really did change her, for the better. If it wasn't for Maxus, she wouldn't even be here right now.

But, this was Ratchet's blood they were discussing and redemption was way out of his reach, that is, in Roxy's eyes. There was one time where she thought she could change Ratchet and tried to be there for him as...a friend, but that didn't last long at all.

"I see. I can't blame him for trying, but, there are some people that cannot change who they are." she said distantly, looking at the floor.

"He's stubborn. He won't listen to me about it caus he knows he can change him. I almost fear his stubbornness might be the death of him."

Roxanne sighed, looking outside briefly with a conflicted expression. "Should I have a word with him?" she asked, still looking outside as she pulled away from Azrael. "Believe me, he'll listen to his mother. Whether he's from a different time or not."

With a deep breath, she then walked outside where he saw Ignis still holding the blade with Daemon attached to it. She grimaced again at that. "Ignis, can I have a word?"

Ignis looked to her. "What is it ma?" He said walking over to her. Daemon was pinned to the ground

Ugh. He was looking at her with those wide eyes. She was going to regret this. She looked back at the house briefly before she escorted him further outside, wanting it to be more private.

"Um...how do I say this?" Roxy sighed. "I...Skoll told me that you guys were planning on killing Daemon before you go back...and... he also said how determined you were to try and change his ways. Is that true?"

"I'm trying... And if you came out here to try an change my mind it's not going to work" he said "daemon's not ratchet, and I can prove it"

"You're right, Daemon's not Ratchet, but they're biologically the same person, same DNA, same way of thinking. From what I witnessed tonight, he's so similar to him that I scares me." she sighed, moving closer to him. "Ignis, you're talking to someone who knows Ratchet's ways and how much he'll never change despite what happens." Roxanne looked to Daemon. "Believe me when I say someone that powerful and insane shouldn't be left alive...that's where Luna went wrong, and now we're suffering the consequences. Do you want to risk that with him? I hate myself for saying this, but what if you spared him and he later kills your brother, sisters, possibly your entire family. Could you face that?"

Ignis sighed. "That's why Skoll is there. To keep him from killing them. I know your trying to protect me mom, but I believe he's different."
