Love challange: the angel or the sin

"I just don't... Understand why one of my Relatives would do this.." She chewed on her lip. "W-what will she do when she sees this place not aflame?"

"She'll probably be mad at me." He said. "Either that or she'll tear this place appart herself. She does have control over plants and pretty mean ones at that"

She fell on her bottom. "She's one of mine."

"Well we have three hours. Anything you wanna ask ask now cause after I settle terms with her I'm gone" he said

Se leaned back and looked at him" Gone? Like... Is she going to kill you."

He shook his head. "She couldn't kill me if she tried. I mean I'm leaving for the mountains east of here. I live in an old castle at th top"

"The haunted one?" She giggled.

"Very funny" he said. "I've lived there for years and it's not haunted." He sighed. "And I live alone"

"I wish I could say the same."

"What family too much for ya?" He asked chuckling

"Only about eight sisters." She sighed. "Nom's trying to have a boy."

"I'd offer for you to live with me if I wasn't me." He said "I'm a mercenary.. I kill and collect souls for clients.. And I want to avoid killing as many as possible. Which is why I told you to run"

"I've killed a man before."

"Funny a sweet girl like you?" He said "maybe there's some sin in you"

She smirked. "He called me a short kid." She nudged him. "You got off lucky I guess."

"You wouldn't be able to kill me either." He said . "I'm immortal"

She smiled. "I'm just kidding. I can't even hurt a butterfly."

"I wasn't kidding" he said. "I've been here since the mideval era."

"Well... I would ask you a ton of questions about life... But I have to evacuate the town now." She smiled

Ven smiled. "You don't have to. I've seen what ivy can do. How do you think she got me to sign the contract?" He said. "I can keep her far away from the town when she gets her... And I could kill her if you wanted to make a contract"

"You would kill your boss.. For me..? A complete stranger whom you don't even know their favorite color or even their middle name?"

"She's not my boss. She's nothin more than a client." He said layin back. "Besides I only kill those who are sins. Criminals and the like. She made a contract that would have me killing innocent people. By the way I'm glad you stopped me. Each contract I sign makes me go bezerker mode when I'm in the location I need to be."

"I guess I'm glad I caught you before things got to crazy."

"I should be thanking you..." He said laying back. "But it was you protecting your family so I guess I shouldn't " he looked up to the clouds. "Frankly if you make a contract or not I'm either going to kill ivy or beat her senseless." 

"Oh really Venny? I doubt it" a cloaked hedgehog walked forward. "Long time no see jojo." Ivy said removing her hood.

"Kailey?!"she stumbled back. "It's.. It's you!" She looked  at her with concern. "Why would you want to destroy home!"
