She ran out in front of him, using her speed. "First one there gets the first cookie!" She said turning down the street

Hey" he shouted "no super speed!" He said speeding upbefore starting to ride on fluffy. " lets catch up fluffy" he said chuckling it was starting to feel like old times already

She giggled. "Fluffy. Such an intimidating name." She then ran backwards and looked at him. She cupped her hands around her mouth. "You might know where to go, but can you beat me?"

Fluffy smirked suddenlygoing cheetah fast. " fluffy isnt just a lioness emily" cory shouted stoping at her appartment fluffy turned into a tatoo with scorch on his back " ha"

The door opened up and Emily leaned up against the door frame, filing her nails. "What took you so long?" She then examined her nails. "Somemobian is forgetting Emily has lightspeed." She smirked looking over to him. "Come, I already started the oven." She said going over to the elevator.

Cory growled playfully " i said no super speed cheater" he said following but.who was he to complain he was back with his childhood friend and crush. It was all he needed right now.

She grinned. "No laws can stop this girl when cookies are involved! Especially Momma Mel's." She said as the two went into the elevator. She pressed the button for the top floor and the elevator began to move.

Cory smirked"im not giving you the recipe" he said"so your gonna have to sit with a blindfold till im done" he said smirking the recipe wasa family secret. It would have been past to emily if she can cory were marryed but that never came. So it was passed to cory

As the elevator moved, so did Emily. She began to sway back and forth. She held her head. As the elevator made it to the top floor, a small dinging sound echoed. soon after a robotic noise was heard. "Arived to the penthouse." it said. At that instant, Emily slumped onto Cory.

Cory smiled as emily leaned on him. He looked around. "Nice place you got em i know your parents saved the city, but you got it good" he said

She held onto his arm for balance. "yea, it's good being top dog." She said as she walked weakly over to the couch. "My god! This feels so good." She said laying on the couch facedown. She was exhausted. She hadn't used that much power in one jolt.

Cory smiled. "You rest emy. And here' he placed a plate with one of his mothers cookies on it. It was in the shape of a heart. "Mom helped me make this for you before she died, ive been saving it for you" he said smiling as he walked towards the oven.

Emily shifted her body so that she could see the heart shaped cookie. She smiled as she held it. That's so sweet... She said as she nibbled on it. It was the sweetest thing she's tasted in a while. As she savored it, the wheels in her head began to devise a plan.

Cory smiledas he gott to work starting to make the batter and bake the cookies the same sweet smell of mel's cookies filled the room. It was like cory had his mothers baking skills naturally. About a few minutes later the first batch came out. " first batch is done"

Emily woke from her small cat nap. She stretched out and yawned deeply. She then laid back down on her couch. She then smelt the cookies, which made her pop up on the couch. She turned over and kneeled, looking over to Cory cooking. When he turned, she got up and walked sneakily over to the pan of sweet treats. As He turned around, she ducked down.

Cory smirked.  Turning back as she reached for them. He moved them out of her reach. "Their still cooling off Emilyn hands off" he said as he continued.

"But... you said they were ready." She said as she got up.

Cory sighed. He picked one off the cookie sheet. And hand it to her. "Fine" he said smiled. "But if you don't like it you don't get any more" he said teasing.

"That's a joke!" She said. She then took a bite out of the cookie. It... actually tastes better than Momma Mel's.... She looked over to the tray of cookies. "Oh my god. these are horrible." She snatched up all the cookies on the pan. "Absolutely horrible." She then walked off. "You must restart." She mumbled as she shoved cookies in her face.

Ok fine then i wont make.more" he said teasing her some.more chuckling. He looked to her smiling.

She walked back over, one cookie in her hand. "Here." She said holding out to him, a smile on her face. "The chief should be able to at least have one cookie."

He smiled taking it. " thanks em' he said.smiling as he.ate his.he.smirked "you love my cookies dont you?"

"They're... really good." She said looking down with a smile on her face.

Cory smiled lifting her chin so they looked into eachother a eyes. "That's all I needed to hear Emily." He said smiling. As he turned to finish baking. 'Grandma and spy were right. But does she love me? Or does she just love my cookies?' He thought

Emily blushed as he touched her. Such a familiar* feeling. She stood for a moment and looked in his eyes. "Uh." She spaced out. She then broke a way, a smile on her face. "S-sorry." She said.
