Beginning of a Journey

( OOC: Honestly, I'd like to leave it here and open, even if no one is likely to jump in at this point, if that's alright with you. )

Wolf opens his eyes and glances over to Reena.

"It might be best for me to take care of that before getting myself cleaned up." he says, "Makes little sense to wash up and then put dirty clothes back on immediately afterwards."

"Yeah, guess we shoulda thought of that earlier," Reena admitted, folding her brush and tossing it over onto her bag. She turned around to face Wolf.
"Lemme just get some pants on and we can go take care of that, then," she pointed out.
The dog stepped away from the window and back over to her bag. She simply picked up the jeans she'd been wearing earlier and started to pull them back on.

"Well, you're better prepared than I am in that regard." he says, "You've already changed into a fresh set of clothes after all, so you have the option to wait at least."

"Well, this is my sleep shirt, really," Reena replied, "But it'll be fine and I can go ahead and wash some other stuff in the meantime."
She hopped in place a couple of times to pull her jeans up under the large shirt, then fastened them shut again.
"Why don't you gather your laundry while I get mine together, too?" she suggested.

Wolf climbs off the bed and goes over to pick up his duffel bag. He then turns towards Reena and waits for her finish gathering her clothing.

The Klee Kai was digging through her bag, taking out certain clothing and tossing it onto the bed. She sorted out various items for a little under half a minute, then turned and grabbed her backpack. The pack was slung over her shoulder and she picked up the clothing she'd separated from the rest in her arms before turning to look at Wolf.
"Ready?" she asked, heading for the door of the hotel room.

Wolf nods.

"Yeah. I'm ready." he says.

"Got your key in case you need to come back before or after I do?" she asked.
Reena opened the door and stepped out into the hallway. She had to pause and consider where she had seen mention of the laundry facilities in the hotel, but it was just a brief pause before she continued on to the elevator.

Wolf follows Reena into the hallway and closes the door.

"Yep. I've still got my key in my pocket." he replies, as he walks over to the elevator with her.

"Cool beans. Pretty sure I saw a sign that the laundry facilities are up on the next floor so we'll head up there."
She waited until the elevator doors opened, then stepped inside and hit the button for the third floor.

"Oh. That's pretty good." he says, after joining her in the elevator, "Hopefully we can get this all finished quickly then."

"I dunno... Usually nothing 'quick' about doing laundry," Reena said, "A lot of sitting around when doing it in a hotel, especially."

"Oh... then I guess I might have to wait until morning to get cleaned up then." Wolf replies.

"How many different loads you got to wash?" Reena asked.
She glanced up at the sound of another soft 'ding', then stepped out of the elevator. A quick glance at a sign on the wall told her which way to go and she started off down the hall.

"Uh... I don't know..." he replies as he resumes following after her, "What exactly is a load?"

"Well, do you separate colors?" Reena asked, tilting her head slightly, "Y'know, darks and lights?"

Wolf shakes his head.

"No, I just wash whatever needs to be washed." he replies.

"Ah. Well, maybe you can just throw it all in there together then," Reena said with a nod.
At the end of the hall, there was a small room on the right where a couple of washing machines and dryers were sitting. There was also a small table with a couple of magazines on it and a couple of chairs set out.
"Oh good, there's two! We can both do our laundry at the same time, then," she pointed out. She carried her laundry over to one machine and set it on top, then started to sort some of her colors and items.

Wolf looks at the machines set up there, and then he looks to Reena.

"Those look pretty big..." he says, "I don't think I have anywhere near enough clothing for either of them."

"We can put some of our stuff in there together," Reena suggested, "What colors do you have?"
She glanced over her shoulder at him.

"Well, I have light brown pants, a matching shirt, and a beige shirt." he replies, "Then there's some dark coloured underclothes."

"Well, we can put all the dark stuff together in one load, then," Reena suggested, "And the rest in another, probably with some of my stuff. I don't have too much to wash, really."
She began to pull out the dark clothing from her laundry, opening one machine and starting to drop the items in.
"Darks first, then, okay?"

Wolf nods in reply. He then opens his duffel bag and withdraws the dark clothing he'd just mentioned to her.

"Just drop them in?" he asks.

"Yup!" she replied. She didn't have too many items and soon only other brighter colors were left among her pile of clothing.
She pulled off her backpack and set it on the washing machine, digging out a coin purse and opening it up. She then started to count out some coins on the washer. After taking a moment to add up exactly how much she needed for at least two washes, she took the necessary amount for this first one and slipped the coins into the machine to get it started.
