Not Your Average Gym! [Training Dome, Open!]

As she was spinning, it was kinda hard for Cynthia to see exactly where she was. As she flew between Roxxie and Clash, she thought to herself,

'Huh, that's strange, I should have hit Roxxie roughly 3.27 seconds after I-'  "GYUUUGH!" Cynthia had smacked her stomach into the rope surrounding the ring, her head and arms flinging over the rope. She slid down to the floor, then rolled over onto her back.

"Okay. Ugh... That was a slight miscalculation on my part." Cynthia groaned as she slowly stood back up, and readied herself for whatever happened next.

As the wolf nearly completed her tumble, Roxxie would definitely notice that Clash was coming closer than she had expected him too. Very quickly, at that. With that forwards inertia still propelling her, coming to a quick stop wasn't feasible. The most that Roxxie could do is lean hard to the left, Clash's shoe still dealing some damage to her right shoulder.

With a hard grunt, Roxxie bares her teeth and attempts to grab Clash's leg with both hands, before he can pull back. If she'd succeed, a good twist and a shove down should bring both fighters to the ground.

Clash wasn't expecting for her to get up so quickly, so the leg grab succeeds, however, despite the twist, Clash retains his balance unusually well, but nowhere near perfectly, as if someone was holding him up.

As a result, he just tries to shake her off, assuming that she's still got his leg, anyway.

Cynthia thought about what she should do next. She decided to go for Clash this time. This time from a different angle. She started running towards the two, then jumped into a rolling ball. 

"I hope this works better than my last plan." 

Once she built up some momentum, she timed an activation of her boots the moment they made contact with the floor, a large thrust sending her up into an arcing leap. She was then going to go for a falling axe kick from above Clash.

The amount of resistance Clash was able to give wasn't expected by Roxxie, who furrowed her brows in confusion on how this kid didn't fall flat on his back. But she won't let go, and she's strong. Roxxie's intent on hanging on, and throwing him down!

Of course with this going on, Roxxie's attention is certainly not on Cynthia.


Nora, on the other hand, was enamored with the control panel in front of her, and had just broken free from her technophilic trance at the (now second..?) sound of high tech footwear being activated. The canine's attention was now on the battle, though occasionally she would glance back at the panel. So many functions... don't press anything, don't press anything!

("Clash, she's pretty tough, can't keep you up forever!")
("I know, doing something now!")

Clash hadn't tried this in a while, but it was the only option he could think of that wouldn't seriously hurt anyone.

He focuses his energy into his palms and tried to focus on his spirits' energy. Resulting in firing a shockwave right in front of his feet, hoping to rocket upwards and be released from Roxxie's grasp.

Even if this succeeded, however, he didn't notice the axe kick, which would've hit him either way.

Cynthia wasn’t expecting Clash to com up towards the axe kick. However, it still connected with it’s target. The force from Clash coming upwards though thrusted Cynthia’s foot upwards, causing her to flip backwards in the air. She let out a quick scream as she angled herself to not land face first on the floor. She activated her boots, and pointed them towards the floor, causing the anti-gravity thrusters to slow her fall. Once she was about an inch from the floor, she deactivated the boots, landing with her feet together.

‘I guess being half cat really helps with maintaining balance!’ She though to herself as she let out a sigh of relief.

The shockwave was enough to have the wolf let go! Roxxie watched as Clash met with the incoming axe kick and...somehow threw off Cynthia in the process? When did she get herself back in range? -Wait, Cynthia's in range!

Taking advantage of the cat's moment to regain her bearings, the brown furred canine bolts past Clash and goes to kick-slide Cynthia to topple her over!

Clash rocketed upwards, finally becoming free from Roxxie's grasp! ...Only to rocket right into Cynthia's kick, making him crash to the ground.

Clash groaned in pain as he tries to reorient himself, he's down, but not exactly out.

Cynthia was about to turn around and continue the spar, but suddenly her legs were taken right out from underneath her by Roxxie’s sliding sweep. Cynthia toppled backwards before quickly reacting by taking her ball form and rolling into the fall. She jumped back up and readied herself in a defensive stance as she said,

“Nice one Roxxie! Caught me off guard there.” She then turned to Clash and asked, “Are okay Clash? Didn’t expect you to come towards the kick, so my calculations of the force kind of exceeded what I first anticipated.

"Eyes on me!" Roxxie taunted. She wasn't exactly going to wait and let Cynthia keep talking, so mid-sentence the wolf charged at Cynthia again!

She tucks her body in and to the right, aiming to shoulder bash the feline square in the chest.

When Clash managed to recover, he only heard part of what Cynthia was saying, but he did see what Roxxie was about to do, talk about rude!

Hopefully before she could make contact, Clash warps to try and go for the classic Chaos roundhouse kick towards her upper body!

"Hey! That ain't cool!"

Cynthia turned her head back towards Roxxie, being caught slightly off guard. She prepared to jump out of the way, but then something that surprised her even more happened. Clash somehow teleported between the two of them, going for a kick towards Roxxie.

‘This young hedgehog has some fascinating abilities…’ Cynthia thought to herself. ‘It’d be rude to ask about it right now, but I’ll be sure to ask them later. Right now, focus on the spar.’

Teleportation isn't really something Roxxie accounted for. There wasn't enough time for her to stop in her tracks, and since she lowered her body for the shoulder bash, it left her chest wide open for the kick. She coughed out a startled "KAUGH," and staggered to the side, the weight of her Wispon nearly making her topple over.

That sound from Roxxie immediately caused Nora's ears to perk up, attention now fully on the fight with just the slightest bit of worry for her friend. 

The wolf wasn't down for the count after one clean blow, but this was looking less like a free-for-all and more like a 2 on 1...her grip tightens on the deep red Wispon.

Oh right, this was a free-for-all, wasn't it? Upon realizing this, Clash decides to keep the combo going by warping above and behind Cynthia, cupping both of his hands together and reeling back to slam Cynthia in the head.

Cynthia was about to go for a behind the back grab on Clash, when he suddenly teleported away, causing Cynthia to lose her balance as she began to look around for where he went. She didn’t think to look behind herself and was hit dead on, causing her to fall down to the floor. She wasn’t just going to go down in one hit though. She rolled over to her back and pointed the soles of her boots towards Clash.

‘Don’t want to send him flying all the way across the room, so just a quarter power thrust should work.’ she thought to herself as she braced her lower back on the ground, that way her attack would connect instead of pushing her across the floor. Her boots then sent an invisible thrust towards Clash which would send him through the air, giving Cynthia time to get back up.

'How many abilites does this kid got?' Roxxie thought, putting her arms up in a boxing stance, then realizing the Wispon blocked a side of her view... which gave her an idea.

But while the other two finally went to exchange blows, Roxxie aimed the nozzle of her Wispon at Clash. Whether or not the hedgehog would be sent rocketing upwards from the feline's attack, in that moment she would pull the trigger, a band of flames jettisoning out from the weapon at Clash! ...Well, that is, if he didn't warp again.

Clash landed the hit, but now he was about to get smacked by both force and fire! Clash tries to warp one final time, but it was a bit delayed, getting scorched on his left arm.

That was a close one, hopefully, he could get a moment to breathe!

Cynthia almost forgot about Roxxie, until the wolf’s wispon was fired in conjunction with her own attack at Clash. Still on the ground, Cynthia kicked herself around, and turned towards Roxxie, using the same boot thruster attack she had used on Clash before. She then used the momentum of this thrust to roll backwards into her ball form and hop back up onto her feet.

“You guys are pretty good.” Cynthia said as she breathed heavily. “Granted I haven’t been in too many fights. Sparring or otherwise. Nonetheless, you two are amazing!”

Even with the distance created between Roxxie and the other two, she was able to guess that the propulsion from Cynthia's gadgets were both strong and not very welcoming to the facial region. Luckily, the large Wispon in her dominant hand would serve as better, thicker defense than just her own arms! The wolf shielded herself with the weapon, the buffet of force having her skid back a little bit, but it was much better than a direct hit!

Putting her arms away from her face, but certainly not relaxed yet, she didn't know if Cynthia talking meant an implied pause to combat. Dealing with such new circumstances drained her stamina quicker than usual, as seen by the slight heave of her chest. "Thanks, you both seem to know how to deal with fire," she says, recalling that members of this guild probably dealt with insane powers and unorthodox situations more than just once ever.

As expected from his close call, Clash wasn't exactly full of energy afterwards, despite probably being better off than his opponent.
But just when he thought about moving again, Cynthia started talking, not just a one-liner either.

Looks like Roxxie was going to respect it this time as well.

"Heh, thanks." He says to the both of them.
"Would be weird if I didn't, I kinda had to deal with flames my whole life."

Unknown to Roxxie, his entire life was a bit of an 'unorthadox situation.'

"Thanks miss Roxxie." Cynthia said as she slowed her breathing from the break in the spar. "I guess when you build things that can explode easily if you aren't careful, you learn pretty quickly how to not get burned."

Cynthia then turned around towards Nora. "Miss... Nora, was it? You want to join in yet? It's fine if you don't."

"H-huh? Whuh?" Nora was, yet again, distracted by the control terminal's configuration, but once the canine's name was called she had snapped back to reality. "Oh, um, maybe another day? I'm not much of a fighter, to be honest..."

'These kids handle this like it's their lives... totally different environment from what I'm used to.' Roxxie thought to herself. But she chimes back in to back up her friend. "Don't worry, I'll make sure Nora gets herself prime and ready for a good spar within the week!" Flashing a smile to Nora, who was a little nervous at how quick that felt to her, but she didn't oppose.

Clash chuckles, the thought of seeing what Nora could do was exciting.

"Looking forward to it!"

Clash then realized, he forgot to introduce his spirits! Although, maybe he should wait a bit longer, just to make sure they weren't going to start back up again.

Cynthia after she was finally relaxed said, “I don’t know about you two, but I think we should kick things up a notch. See what this training dome can really do, y’know?”

Cynthia then walked over to her jacket and tied it around her waist. Afterward, she climbed out of the ring and walked over to the control panel where Nora was standing.

“What do you all think? Any suggestions?”
