Meeting and Greeting

Gear walked through town. His body looking fresh from healing and repairs as he hummed an upbeat tune as he went.

So far he didn't have much in mind for activities today. Aaron was out who knows where. No recent Razor attacks or anything. No Demon portals or aliens or anything interesting was going on. Not that Gear craved excitement or anything, just was slightly bored that nothing was going on at all.

He continued walking down the street at a leisurely pace occasionally get stares ftom passerby.
~Wonder what everyone else's problem is?~ He thought as some avoided him as he crossed the street, ~Kinda wish I knew a good area to travel to...~

A small grey fox also stepped along a footpath within the urban area, A white lab-coat vibrantly reflecting the suns rays. The Foxes name was Darken, and he seemed like a more peaceful character. While he walked he would occasionally see some form of mechanisms whether it be vending machines or mobile phone, and he would often consider how he could use the design to aid in his Inventing.

The Last month had truly spun the foxes life upside down, and he was enjoying the relaxing, albeit short, break. While his current clothing did not display it, Darken was in fact a member of G.U.N research division.

He was peacefully enjoying the day to the fullest of it's extent, but as he walked, he noticed that many of the passers-by were throwing glances at something across the street from him. Darken didn't like admitting it, but without his glasses, he was completely unable to make out long distance details, but it was indeed different.

Gear continued his pace undisturbed by the stares and such and reached an intersection. as he stopped and waited to cross the street, just missing the light as a few groups of people were already partway across.

Just up ahead, the lights at the intersection had transitioned from Green to Red, causing the identifiable person to miss the opening. A swarm of people did make it across however, and temporarily blocked the foxes view. Whatever it was was definitely Green(I'm assuming?) 

Darken stopped at the intersection, deciding to wait so that he might greet the person on the other side.

Just as the two were about to meet, a Raccoon rushed by the Fox, bumping into the robotic figure head on. He fell backwards after just having crossed the street, seeming to be in a hurry. 

"Deux!" Another called, when he came into view crowds moving by could observe that it was a wisp that hurried to his friend's side. He turned to the robot. "I'm sorry! My friend was so excited to head out that... I guess it was bound to happen! Sorry sir!" The ebony wisp apologized profusely, unperturbed by the stranger's appearance.

"Oh no, sorry!" Now the careless kid apologized as well, still on the ground. He looked nervously at his feet.

Gear, caught completely off guard, ended up falling on his butt to the pavement as well. After getting up he found the raccoon along with the strange creature (Gears memory couldn't place it) hovering around the raccoon.

"Heh heh... no problem." His face was relaxed as spok, "see? No harm done," he said as he dusted himself off. He then took a good look at the two. One was the before mentioned raccoon, Deux if he caught the name right, and the other creature Gear didn't have data on.

"So uh... where's the fire? " Gear asked as he proped his hand behind his head giving the two a quizzical look as the walk signal turned and started letting people cross again.

Keener to travel across the road, a Raccoon sped past the fox, nearly knocking him over and causing his lab coat to flap about wildly. To Darken's surprise, a Wisp followed the Raccoon, not a very common sighting.

The fox had only heard of the wisps in stories and the occasional Military report, but to his knowledge, they weren't that common. Then, as he was caught in thought, The Raccoon collided with The fore-mentioned figure, causing both to bounce back onto the ground.

Darken stood silently, and as the Traffic lights allowed for the pedestrians to cross, he decided that he would wait for the next green light to travel across the road himself.

"Umm.." Deux returned the quizzical look with a confused expression. He stayed silent for a while, an awkwardly long time considering he was asked a question, but he wasn't sure how to answer. He got to his feet and dusted himself off. Aries hovered beside him, looking slightly impatient as the cross signal behind them blinked. 

"Uh, what?" Aries finally asked, confused about the mention of a fire. He didn't see any firetrucks. Uh oh, did they ruin a perfectly good joke?! Probably. Aries put a 'hand' to his face, how awkward was this...

Gears own face took on one of embarrassment.

"Uh... sorry. Still not familiar with Mobian humour," gear said scratching the back of hishead with a sheepish look on his face, "What I meant was whats the rush? Some trouble?"

Gear had a laidback personality and didn't really startle easily so he wasn't bother by the run in. In fact he was happy he ran into someone. Maybe he could finally get a little action so it wasn't so boring.
