Beginning of a Journey

"Oh... I'm not judging you." he says, "I... just don't know what movies are..."

She paused what she was doing on her phone, her ears perking up. The canine turned her head to look at Wolf.
"Really?" she asked.

"Yeah..." the wolf replies, looking back at her.

"Well then we absolutely should watch one!" Reena smiled broadly. "I'd say that's the best way to find out what it is instead of me just trying to explain."

"Oh, um, okay then." he says, "What will I have to do?"

"Well, if it holds your attention, you just have to watch," Reena replied, "Movies are pretty easy for anyone to enjoy. We just have to find something that interests you."

"Oh, alright." he says, "I guess you should just pick something and we'll see how it goes."

"I've got an adventure movie I haven't watched yet," Reena suggested, "It's hard to go wrong with some excitement."

"Okay. I guess we can give that a try." Wolf says.

"Yep. Aaaaand..." She tapped the screen a couple more times. "There! We now have a room reserved for tonight," she announced.
Her phone was promptly clicked off and set aside as she stood up and crossed back over to her side of the cabin. She stretched up onto her toes to reach for her travel bag, but soon realized she just couldn't reach it.
"Oh, c'mon!" she complained, flicking her ears back a bit.

Wolf watches as Reena finishes with her phone and then gets up to retrieve her travel bag. Once he realizes she can't quite reach, he stands up from the bench.

"Would you like me to get it?" he asks, "Or do you want me to give you a boost?"

He smiles slightly to her.

The Klee Kai blew some hair from her forehead after lowering her arms. She looked over her shoulder at Wolf.
"Yyyyyeah, this train wasn't meant for short people, it looks like," she admitted, "You can just grab it for me. My laptop is in there."

He nods to her, then steps up beside her and reaches up, easily grabbing hold of her travel bag. He removes it from the storage area and lowers it down, offering it to her.

"Here you go." he says.

"Thanks, stretch," Reena replied, a slight smirk across her face as she accepted the bag from him. She set it down on the bench in front of her and proceed to withdraw her laptop from within it. She removed it from its sleeve and peered around the cabin for several moments before spotting a wall outlet near the door. It took her only a few moments to plug in the laptop's charger there and then return to the other bench on Wolf's side of the cabin, where she set up the computer in her lap.
From there, she pressed a button on the device and the screen came to life as it powered on.

Wolf tilts his head to the side slightly when Reena finished speaking to him, wondering if she wanted him to actually stretch and why. But she moves off before he thinks of asking. Once she has her laptop plugged in and running, he looks over to her, wondering what he had to do next.

Reena's gaze fixed onto her computer screen as she began to look for the movie she'd mentioned. She glanced back towards Wolf for a few moments, then said, "You can just leave the bag down. I'll put it up later."

"Oh, okay." he replies, "Should I come over there and join you?"

"Well yeah. Movies are better when you can see the screen," Reena replied with a grin. She patted the bench beside her.
"C'mon and get comfy," she invited.

Wolf moves back over to the bench and sat down beside Reena. He then glances over to the laptop screen.

Reena was looking over a few things on her screen as she went, opening folders and reading over titles. She soon found what she was looking for, though, and turned her head to look at Wolf.
"Action/adventure sound good to you?" she asked.

"I guess so." he replies, "If it's something you want to watch."

"Alrighty, we'll watch this one, then," Reena said with a nod. She double-clicked the movie file and closed the first window as the video player opened up.
The canine then scooted a bit closer to Wolf and adjusted the laptop in her lap to make sure he could see the screen. She also turned up the volume as well and within a few moments, the opening credits of a movie started to play.

Wolfgang watches curiously as the movie begins to play on the screen before him and Reena. Having never seen a movie before he had no idea what to expect, and so he sat there attentively taking in the details as they unfolded.

While the storm continued outside, Reena was plenty content to sit with Wolf in the relative comfort of the train cabin. The following hour and a half was spent as they watched a movie that followed the story of a mythological figure on his quest through times long in the past. It had many elements of fantasy in it and included a bit of a rocky story with the main love interest as the duo worked together and also sorted out their own differences. There were many sequences of combat as well and Reena at one point commented on the fact that the hero had a sword, even if it was a magical sword and not quite the same kind as Wolf's.
The movie reached a grand climax, which was conquered and followed by the eventual close of the film, at which point the end credits began to roll.
By this point, Reena had started leaning against Wolf just a bit, having eventually folded her legs up to sit cross-legged on the bench and be more comfortable. She shifted a bit now that the credits were rolling, but was reading over them and didn't yet say anything.

Wolf watches the movie with interest, even as he found several of the more fantasy inspired elements to seem pretty silly, and he thought that the fighting in the move was over-exaggerated.

As he notices Reena leaning against him he glances at her briefly, but says nothing to her. Once the credits began to roll he stretches slightly there on the bench and looks at Reena.
