Strings Of Fate & Falling

She chuckled into his mouth. "Oh, shut up. You're the one who brought me out here for this very purpose." she teased, placing her hands on his chest.

"Maybe we can try the other opening this time"

"Thanks." she said, swallowing a pill before taking a sip of water, sitting up to look at the sky. "We should come out here more often, it's so secluded and peaceful." she smiled at him from under her lashes.

"It's more or less what I made this place for. A place to keep peace and relaxation" he said

She grinned, looking up at the sky again, that is, until she saw something flickering. She squinted hard, focusing on it and eventually, she saw that it was falling, quite rapidly.

"What's is that?" she asked herself, turning over as it flew overhead, over the mountains. "There's no way that is a felling star..." she said, before getting up and getting dressed.

Max looked and noticed. "What the" he jumped up and started to get dressed. "Can you see where it's landing?" He asked as they rand to the cliff outside

"Yeah." she replied as she only ran faster when it picked up speed. When they ran for the cliff side, she squinted again before she noticed something. "It's...it's a ship." she said to him before her eyes widened as she braced herself for the impact. There was a loud crash that it caused the ground to tremor violently. She surprised that the ship didn't explode when it collided with the ground, making a huge crater. "My god."

Max as if on instinct started to run for the crater "let's go they may need some help he said dashing. 'Kieko? Are you awake?'

Kieko had immediately sensed the arrival from his bed, and wasted no time as he disappeared and suddenly re-appeared next to the crashed ship with a frown of worry. He put his hands to the metal as they began to glow, checking for a sign of life.

Roxanne ran over panting, looking between Kieko and the ship. 

"Whoever it is, they're alive." he stated, before he started to tear away parts of the ship, getting to the cockpit. He noticed a body slumped over the controls as he climbed inside as best as he could and picked them up. Kieko emerged from the wreck, with a black hedgehog thrown over his shoulder.

Max looked and slid down into the crater to help kieko. "Let's get him back to the village for medical attention" he said to kieko before looking at the airship the hedgehog came in

Roxanne looked to the hedgehog worried, following Kieko and Max, but not without a last look at the airship. She suddenly wondered what could have caused them to crash so suddenly. 

Kieko looked to Max and nodded as they neared the village. The hedgehog was unconscious as they walked as fast as possible, holding his body up.

Max shouted. "Mom! We got a man down! Get Emily and get the aid kit!"

Lenora heard. "Get him inside and lay him on th couch for now you two. Emilia! We have a paitient!"

"Coming mother" Emily said rushing down the stairs

Kieko with assistance from Max laid the newcomer down on the couch steadily, putting a pillow under his head for support.

Roxanne stood by his head, noticing the pained expression across his face. Then her eyes wandered down his form in curiosity, looking at his accessory around his neck, his leather jacket but what caught her eyes most was his bright green, spiky hair.

Kieko moved out of the way and stood next to Roxy.

Max started a pre treatment of the green healing flames trying to see if he hand any bones broken or open wounds. Then his mother and sister came down and checked him over as max moved out of the way. Making sure he didn't miss something

Kieko looked him over, before he glanced at Max's mother and sister. "Is he going to be alright?" he asked, looking concerned for his sake.

Roxanne's eyes moved to him again and she moved forward to place a hand on his forehead, stroking her thumb delicately. The hedgehog feature's softened at the touch but he didn't seem to stir.

Emily smiled. "He'll be just fine kieko. He just needs. To rest for. Few hours"

Kieko nodded, looking to him with worried eyes, even though he was assured he was fine. Part of him wondered how he had survived that crash if he was honest, and was also curious to how it happened. Though, he would save it until after he had woken up.

"I'll watch over him." Roxanne volunteered, stepping forward and locking eyes with Emily.

Emily and Lenora packed up and walked out of the room. Max sat in a chair. Maybe there was a hint of jealousy bubbling up but he would watch just to make sure this guy didn't try anything when he woke

Kieko decided to hang around to but on the other side of the room, leaning against the wall and standing silently.

Roxanne sighed as she sat on the chair she put there beside the couch.

The hedgehog was inhaling and exhaling softly, though it seemed like he wasn't in pain anymore.

Max sat there watching. Letting roxy touch him was fine but if he made a move on her he was going to set this new guy straight

Moments later, the hedgehog began to stir, groaning as his eyes struggled to open. He sensed a presence and looked in Roxy's direction. His eyes widened as he suddenly sat up, getting a sharp pain in his side.

Roxanne reached over to place her hands on his shoulders, pushing him slowly back down onto the couch. "Hey, it's ok. Don't move so much, you'll start to feel faint again."

"Ugh...too late." he said in displeasure, then he looked to her, his eyes widening at the sight. "Who are you?" he asked, cradling his head.

Max stood walking over. "She's Roxanne, and I'm Maximus primos. Son of the leader of this village... Mind telling me what happened before your airship crashed"

Roxanne looked to him with a soft expression, scooting closer as a slight nudge.

The hedgehog looked back at her and nodded. "I was fleeing from someone..." he cringed, before shaking his head. "Anyway, out of nowhere, I lost all the control in my arms, like...they were immobilised. I couldn't move them, so when my ship started overheating, I couldn't do anything and, well, you know the rest." he sighed, sitting up, then he cried out when he felt a pain in his wrist.

"What is it? What's wrong?" Roxanne stood up, leaning over, worried.

"I don't know...I got a similar pain right before I lost control of my arms." He hissed. "I feel like something's trying to slice my wrist open..." he clenched his teeth, closing his eyes.

Max looked placing his hand over it soothing the pain for now in the green blaze. He felt somethig strange. "Who were you running from?"

He cried out again as he felt a sharp stabbing pain under his skin. "A psycho. Someone I never should have been in league with in the first place." he hissed.

Roxanne leaned forward, cradling his face with her hands. "Can you give us a name?"

The hedgehog looked hesitant as fear flashed across his face briefly. "I can't..." he said, shaking his head as he winced again.
