Strings Of Fate & Falling

Max grinned as they fell. Max jumped doing a free fall. "Wahoooooo!" He shouted Roxanne an kieko landed at the bottom and max landed gracefully in the raft. "Now that's how you go rapid running!"

Kieko laughed as he came up to the surface, floating about in the water as Roxy came up to with a evil smirk on her face.

"Yes, and this is what you call capsizing..." she said innocently as she tipped the raft upside down, Max tumbling into the water with a yelp. She swam over to where he fell in, just in case.

Kieko merely snorted as he watched.

Max poped up. Steam coming off him. "So muh for expecting the unexpected" he said looking to Roxanne. "And you. " he grabbed her and picked her up over his shoulders

"Ah!" Roxanne yelped as she was slung over his shoulder, kicking her legs. "Maxus! What are up to?!" she asked before glancing at Kieko who was smirking. "Kieko, help me, I'm being hi-jacked!"

Kieko chuckled shaking his head in amusement before he swam over to the raft and pulled it towards him to he could turn it back over, the water gushing out. He smiled as he heard Roxanne yelping.

"You walked right into that one, Roxy." he called over to her, laughing to himself.

Max started to float up in the air a little. Holding her inplace as he got back to the boat. "Hmm what to do with this pretty girl." He said with a devious smile. "Maybe I'll let her go because her birthday is coming soon" said acting like he was thinking it over

Roxanne gasped before slapping her wet tail in his face like a wet paper towel. "Damn straight you should." she tried to sound serious but she was chuckling. "You put this pretty girl down you pirate!"

Kieko snorted as he finished draining the boat of water. "Sixteen only in a few days, Roxy." he mumbled to himself.

Max smiled. "Speaking of birthdays. Did your mom tell you what she's planning? Cause she told me and kieko." He said grinning as he held roxy over his shoulder still.

Roxanne looked to him. "No, why? What's my mother planning now?" she asked.

"That's the point of a surprise, Roxanne." Kieko grinned at her, pulling the boat back to them.

"Oh, come on. Don't be mean..." she whined, looking between them. "Should I be scared?" she asked.

"Oh, it's not that bad." Kieko chuckled.

Max smiled looking to kieko. "We can't tell you any more than that." He said. "Oh and kieko. Ruby asked if we could the the place ready"

Roxanne pouted at them as she folded her arms, still seated on Max's shoulders.

Kieko nodded. "That's fine with me. It'll be worth it in the end." he grinned, knowing he was ticking Roxanne off even more.

Max smiled and mouthed. "Meet in the garden after we're done riding the rapids" he looked to roxy over his shoulder

Roxanne raised her eyebrows at him as if waiting. "Are you planning on putting me down anytime soon, or are you enjoying manhandling me so much?" she asked sternly.

Kieko nodded back at Max as he got the boat ready for them to get in again, swimming back in the river to gather the paddles floating on the surface.

He grinned. "I was debating wether to drop you into the water or not" he said chucking. As he set her down in the boat. Be as he set her down he dropped a handful of water down the back of her shirt

Roxanne shrieked as she straightened herself instantly at the freezing cold touch of it running down her back. She shuddered; whimpering before she turned round to give him a dark look.

Kieko chuckled as he scooted over to his side and grabbed his paddle as they organised themselves.

Max chuckled as he got to his station grabbing the paddle. "Don't worry you can get me
Back for it later" he said

"Oh, don't worry, I will." Roxanne said warningly before she gave them the signal and they all began paddling down the river again, heading for the rapids again. There were only two waterfalls left and one more round of rapids before the river died down to a calm, sparkling water.

Kieko started paddling with all his might as they manoeuvred through the rapids, the boat rocking from side to side as they all laughed and whooped. They really did make the best trio.

Max laughed as he did the same. "We're almost through!" He shouted as they came to the large clear lake.

They went down the last couple of rapids before falling down the largest waterfall. When they along with the raft surfaced, Roxanne threw her hands up.

"Victory! The water's did not consume us this time. Hah!" Roxanne beamed, swimming to the raft and climbing onto it, sitting whilst looking around.

Kieko laughed. "That was quite something, huh?" he grinned at her, before climbing back aboard as the raft drifted across the calm lake.

Max chuckled. Climbing into the raft. He felt weak. Probably from being wet to long but he panted tired. "Damn"

Roxanne looked at him worried, as she scooted closer to sit next to him while he heated up from the cold water. She rubbed his back comfortingly as she looked to Kieko. "That was so awesome." she grinned.

He smirked back, sitting as he took in the scenery. "Yeah. Tiring, but...awesome, as you say." he chuckled.

"Ya you guys are lucky not to be half fire demon." He said panting tiredly. He started to dry out. "I get weaker the more water there is." He felt roxy's hand on his back he smiled. He loved the feeling of her touch. His ear twitched. "God damn how the hell did they follow me down here!" In the distance came the excited screams of the village girls.

Kieko perked up, looking in the distance to see a hoard of girls. "Would that be Max's fan group?" he chuckled, before looking out to the lake as he closed his eyes, finding it peaceful.

Roxanne suddenly felt a little mischievous as she turned to Max, smirking. She wondered how to get the girls off his trail. "Max, kiss me. Now." she whispered raising her eyebrows, offering herself to him with a wink.

Max blushed but went ahead and kissed her. It had been a few years, but it still felt just as good. All the girls on the shore complained and whined. Max suddenly smirked. "Hey if you want someone else to attack" he suddenly picked up kieko and threw him into the mob who grabbed onto her screaming. Max knew it was cruel, but in they th kieko was doing him a big favor

Kieko yelled as he was swamped by the girls. He loathed the attention. He loathed them all grabbing at him. He just...loathed them all. With a snarl, he used a white blast to blow them away. He had his heart set on one person and he sure as hell wasn't letting up anytime soon. "Begone! This is disgraceful behaviour from all of you!" suddenly his formal tone came back. He only seemed to act normal and chilled when he was around Max and Roxy.

Roxanne gasped as she pulled away, slapping him in the face. "What the hell was that?! You can't just launch Kieko of all people into a mob of girls! That's cruel!" she scolded, folding her arms whilst looking at him.

So what the guy was doing me a favor." He said before vanishing to the shoreline. "Sorry about that kieko." Was all he said before walking away. Heading for the garden.
