Sonic vs. Eggman

"What the-" He looked around. He waved his hands. "Yo Buttnick, aren't ya gonna stop me from foiling ya plans? Or have ya gave up?" He tapped his foot. "..." Nothing.

He slowly wandered through the control room, and checked the console. "Recent Actions... hmm... Google Search, How to kill hedgehogs... yada yada..." He yawned, before snapping his fingers. "Aha. Here we go... secret passageway?" He looked around to see any hidden passages. "..."

Eggman below deck, programmed his Eggpod to fuse with what seems to be a giant machine. He looked back and snicked, before he pressed a button that cause the Death Egg to shake, no wait...not only shake but seems to be crumbling within space, slowly breaking apart.

In the room Sonic was in, there was little escape, except for a few unopened Eggpods, that could probably be used for escape if needed....maybe?

Sonic ran through the passage way as fast as he could upon feeling the whole place shake up. And that was... pretty fast. He homing attacked through a metal door, and looked around the room which had the lights off completely. "Alright Eggman! The game's up!"

Dr. Eggman his back turned to Sonic, had a grin on his face. He's still here this is all too easy he thought to himself proud of his last ditch effort. He turned around looking quite remorseful and slightly sad. "Oh Sonic....I didn't mean to send all those robots after you, and didn't mean to try to kill you, I was just working on something...important." He said to the hedgehog. Maybe I got him tricked....Just maybe...

Sonic paused. He looked surprised at first, but after some thinking shrugged it off, and crossed his arms. "Psh. Yeaah, right." He then thought back. Why else would the water have drained back there? "..." He looked around. To say the least, he was quite... confused about the whole thing. Finally his heroic instinct returned. "You've already caused enough trouble as it is, I'm stopping you right now!" He pointed getting into a dramatic pose. "Now do I have to do this the hard way or are ya gonna just step down?"

Eggman's then remorseful face then turned into his normal grin again. "Whatever....I'm finished here anyway...this place is slowly breaking apart into space as we speak, and You're just wasting your time, but since you made the effort to come all the way here....allow me to make sure you don't miss the show." Eggman pressed one of his many buttons on his EggPod, which caused a glass container about Sonic's size to seem to falling right above him, as if to try trap him.

The speed demon rubbed his nose in a cocky way, and grinned at Eggman, blinking a bit. He tapped his foot on the metallic flooring gently, and looked him in the eye. "I knew you were up to no good again, Eggma-Ah!" His eyes widened, and he gasped, being sealed inside. "Hey, what's the big idea?!" His voice was muffled due to the glass. Using his hands, he hammered against the glass repeatedly.

Eggman laughed gleefully, before his Eggpod covered in a glass cover, and he leaves the Death Egg, before attaching it to a giant robot, that vaguely resembles the Death Egg Bot and landed on one of the ships in a fleet flying over earth below.

Sonic watched as he did so. "...Eggman! You're not gonna get away with this!" He looked around. Nothing but glass. He punched it once, with all his might. Nothing but a huge sense of pain. "...Agh. Where's Knuckles when ya need him?" He asked, before kicked the glass over and over. Still nothing. He spin-dashed, and ended up bouncing off the glass over and over like a bouncy ball. He landed on his feet, and tapped his foot. "Ah, jeez... what now?" He asked himself, looking for options.

Time was running out, as the Death Egg was slowly breaking apart, the hallway leading into the central control room was now slowly breaking away, slowly, and slowly becoming nothing more then pieces of metal in space. Eggman now aboard his ship was laughing hysterically as he watched the ship breaking apart above.

...Was this it?

No. It couldn't be. The blue hedgehog hit the glass with all of his might, kicking and spindashing over and over. Still nothing. This glass was really strong. What was it going to take to break through something like this...

He had to think fast. The whole place was crumbling with him in it. He took out the red Chaos Emerald, and looked at it. "...Huh..." He looked to the glass, and to the emerald, knowing that the emerald had a lot of power behind it. "...Maybe..." He put a load of concentration into it, and stood still perfectly, not budging from the spot, eyes closed. Six bright stars formed in space above Eggman, and got larger, before revealing themselves to be individual Chaos Emeralds.

They all launched into the Death Egg, and surrounded the tube Sonic was in.

=BUMP AGAIN=

Eggman took a minute to stop laughing and looked up at the ship once more, hoping to see the final demise of a worthy foe. His face then grimaced with frustration as he saw what seemed to be chaos emeralds around the blue hedgehog. Oh what anger the Doctor felt, his hatred seeming to be bulging from his face. "YOU JUST WON'T GO AWAY WILL YOU!?!" He pointlessly called to him.

Just before the entire place exploded and left him to die in space, the hedgehog flared up in a golden flash of chaos energy, the tube exploding instantly. "NOW I'LL SHOW YOU!" The super powered hedgehog flew directly at the mad scientist, breaking the limits of speed by miles. Understatement too. Before beginning an attack of course, the whole thing exploded behind him. He halted just in front of Eggman's ship, grinning. "So... wanna play, Baldy McNosehair?"

Eggman jumped back in his seat at the sight of the now golden hedgehog, now more intimidated given that he now posses the chaos emeralds. Despite him being skeptical of the hedgehogs stronger abilities, the doctor himself still had a few tricks he could use. "Very well my spiky adversary!" He smashed his hand on a large button where a microphone came out of his cockpit's control deck. "FIRE EVERYTHING NOW!" The surrounding air fleet took aim at the golden hedgehog and unleashed a seemingly endless barrage of missiles, bombs, and other weaponry.

Okay. That was one way to do it. The hedgehog's eyes widened slightly at the whole 'fire EVERYTHING' thing, but eh, what could go wrong? He got hit smack bang in the face by one missile, sending him flying backwards quite far, but quick reactions allowed him to regain balance and control, stopping just in time to see a missile coming towards him.

A quick ascent, followed by, oh wow, an even quicker descent, and so on and so on, rapidly dodging several of the missiles with all he had. Quickly the tables changed however, and he got greeted by a five missile bombardment with no-where to actually fly.

Realizing the situation, he quickly spindashed and hit the center missile head on, detonating that one, his speed being enough to propel him through the explosion however. The other four explosions just slightly grazed him. And now it was for a counter attack. Kicking the sides of some of the missiles coming towards him, dodging most, some even getting returned to sender. "Gee Eg-Eggman! Ya-you mean business!"

How the hell did he afford all of this stuff again?

OOC: HEYO!! SO GLAD I FOUND THIS STILL HERE...I HOPE IT NO TOO LATE

Oh yes…Oh yes! He was sure this time! He was sure that he was going to win! Granted, firing everything was a rather…bold move, as it could easily leave him open, but it was a desperate attempt that he was nearly positive that just might work! His glasses reflecting the mayhem that occurred just before him! And to think that he had the best seats! Explosions! Explosions! The hedgehog seeming to get hit by one of them! YES! BOOM! But it proved to be a futile effort, as he witnessed him quickly regaining control and dodging the remaining missiles with no effort. “NO!” He exclaimed, smashing his fist against the control panel in obvious frustration. And his frustration would peak further once he witnessed that his very ammunition that was fired was now being sent right back to him. With little to no time to think, and the best time to panic, Eggman hastily fired his own missile that he had not yet used. While it did stop about one, and destroyed a few close others, his ship being resided had now taken obvious damage, and the force of the explosion forced the plump man to collapse from it all. Slowly getting up, using the control panel for support, sweating with anticipation, he pondered his options, knowing that his resources was quickly dwindling.

The hedgehog immediately halted, hovering just in front of Eggman's ship. He wagged his finger. "Ah, c'mon Egghead, you should know better! Nothing you fire can stop me now, so just give it up!" He folded his arms, the golden aura slowly rising off of him as excess energy escaped him at ridiculous speeds. He awaited Eggman's next move, prepared to destroy the entire ship with a click of his fingers. "You're outta options."

Am I truly out of options? That was an interesting thought, as usually he, the great almighty EGGMAN, usually has a backup plan of some sort, even if that backup plan was sure to fail. But nevertheless, he had one. The main question however was whether it was going work or not, not to mention that this plan in particular has been done before, and in most of his previous attempts...has also failed before. He glanced at the large button accompanied by switches to his left side, baring his famous insignia that screams out who he is, before placing his attention back on the golden hedgehog. "It seems I have no other options" he lied, still keeping the button and switches in his field of his vision.

"Hahah, then you can give up now and fly all the way back home." The golden blur turned his back on Eggman's ship for a few seconds to look at the planet. "You won't be conquering anything today, Eggman." He said, quite confident. However, while he was expecting Eggman to have something up his sleeve the entire time, he'd let his guard down for just a few seconds.
