Sonic vs. Eggman

In space...a place where all is void of life...or it should be. A metallic orb in space floats aimlessly, bearing a resemblance to its creator: Dr. Eggman. The purpose of its creation, to reign evil and for the doctor to become one step closer to finally make his dream of Eggmanland come true.

The good Doctor was in his main computer room, watching the planet from the window, he looked at it intently, a big smile coming across his face as the dream he wanted forever is about to come true. He walked over to his computer and typed in the co-ordinates. "Heh....soon....my dream for what I wanted for so long...will be a reality...LOAD ALL CANNONS!" he yelled. From within the Death Egg, metal clanking was heard as the weapons were being loaded.

A sudden flash of light went off on the CCTV. It seemed the wall had been completely destroyed. And then... out of the 'blue', the blur sprinted through the large metallic corridor of the space station, removing his P.A. device after reaching an airlock. With a quick dash, the hedgehog began to approach the main control room. ...He had to stop him. Eggman was NOT going to win. He never will. Ever.

Sonic was prepared for any obstacle that would come his way... he knew Eggman would be watching him, and that scientist never knew limits. He'd probably go as far to blow up the whole corridor to make sure the hedgehog was disposed of and out of his ha-mustache. Tap tap tap tap... Sonic's footsteps were loud and rapid. ...Just a little closer.

The control rooms sirens blared, and Eggman approached one of his many surveillance monitors, and scowled at the screen in frustration. "That little pest....Perhaps he should get a load of this!" he slammed his fist on a button, sending out a small group of Mecha Bus (they look like this)

Each one, following Sonic, trying to stop him from reaching the control room. One of them out of the small group quickly charged at him, their buzz-saws also slicing at the ground of the Death Egg.

Sonic heard something. Mechanical whirring? He looked behind him to see several of the little guys. "...Psh... c'mon, Egghead... that the best ya can do? Looks like the toys I had when I was a kid!" He jumped upwards to dodge the first one that swept for him, landing on the top of it. He lay casually on top, and tapped it's eyes gently. "Hey. Up here." He teased, before jumping off just in time to dodge the saw blade attack, in turn making the bot destroy itself, sending a cloud of smoke through the corridor. He coughed, before continuing running, this time backwards to purposely anger the evil scientist. "C'mon, step it up!"

Eggman was staring at monitor, the images reflecting off his sunglasses I don't have to stop him now...I just have to stall him... He reminded himself. He pushed another a button, and the ground below Sonic began to deteriorate leading to the endless vacuum that was space.

Sonic gasps, wishing he didn't throw away that P.A. device. "Ngh!" He quickly inhales air from the corridor, before getting sucked back. He quickly clings onto a metal bar, and holds on for dear life. "!" He looks down, seeing the earth. Slowly losing grip, he quickly starts to climb up the pole, barely fighting against the huge suction. He then spindashes just in time to see the bar he was just holding onto go flying into space. "Talk about close..." He quickly homing attacks into a camera on the wall, which saves his life. The hedgehog lands gently on the floor, before sonic booming through the corridor. It probably would cause a loud screech on Eggman's end.

"Gah!" he yelled as he fell on the floor as a result of the sound. He slowly made his way back up, slamming his hands on the keyboard in frustration. "BLAST IT! Almost had him....that did slow him down for a moment however..." He sat down in his chair in the control room stroking his mustache, looking at the tank containing Silver Sonic. "....no not yet its not dire...but perhaps...." He grinned and then sighed at the thought "Its well worth it....FIRE ALL MISSILES! MAXIMIZE SECURITY MEASURES! JUST MAKE SURE HE DOESN'T GET HERE!" Missiles we're fired within the corridor, electric fences were deployed in front of Sonic, the ground beginning to give way to reveal spike traps.

Sonic looks to his left. He sees about twenty missiles heading for him at once. He flips off the camera, before spindashing underneath one, hopping over the other, and narrowly dodging the last dozen by doing matrix like maneuvers. He grabs onto the very last one and rides it through the corridor. "YAHOO!" He fists the air, having a great time... until an electric fence comes up.

"AH!" He leaps off the missile at the last second, and the corridor gets filled with smoke. Sonic coughs violently, walking through the now destroyed electrical fence, and looks behind him to see all the smoke getting sucked out by the vacuum of space. "Ah, gimme a break..." He quickly sprints forward, to be met with a spike pit. "WHOAAH!" He grabs onto the flap of the trapdoor, feet just barely above the spikes. "...Phew... JEEZ EGGMAN... SIMMER DOWN!" He climbs out of the pit, and starts to run on the side of the wall rather than the floor. Past every camera there, he was pulling a different face.

"Grr....." He continued to slam his fists on the keyboard in rage. "Simmer down huh? I'll show you who should simmer down!" He flicked the lever, and the corridor sonic was running in, closed on both sides, trapping him in one place, and it began to fill with water. Eggman watched from the control room grinning evilly.

He skids to a halt. "!" He looks at the water drifting off into space. "...Hey GENIUS! If ya gonna try and flood the place you might want to make sure that the huge gaps are blocked firs-Ah shoot." They blocked, and the whole corridor began to take on water. "...Uh, this is bad... this is bad..." He looks around frantically, and already the water reaches neck height. He climbs up to the top of the corridor roof, and searches desperately for any way out. The water slowly reaches him.

Eggman watched as the hedgehog helplessly struggled against something that he fears most. He grinned with delight "That should keep him quiet for a bit" he said confidently.

Sonic looks down at the rising water, and gulps, before spindashing on the ceiling and launching himself at an air vent which he spotted previously. He clings onto the bars of it, and uses one hand to activate his anti-gravity sneakers. Standing on the roof, he writhes at the vent. "Ngh, open up!" He takes a deep breath as the entire place is now flooded. Underwater, he struggles against the bars.

Eggman is elated at the fact Sonic has no where to run, and the mere thought him being done for causes him to slam his fist in the keyboard with happiness....however the key he hit now unblocks the corridors, the water now draining, leaving the whole hallway wet. "BLAST IT!" He yelled in frustration. Now realizing that most of his defenses have been depleted, he looked back once again at Silver Sonic, thinking to himself.

Sonic slowly began to lose consciousness, lungs bursting. He kept pulling at the vent, but it was no use. It wouldn't budge. The hedgehog's sneakers broke at that moment too, causing him to slowly move to the floor of the corridor, holding his throat, straining for air. As his vision got darker, he suddenly noticed something. He hit the floor. Hard. And the water pressure seemed to have vanished. He gasped. Really loud. Sweet air never tasted or felt so good. Recovering from the almost drowning experience, the hedgehog quickly got to his feet. ...He had to stop Eggman! Quickly, the hedgehog dashes through the corridors, getting ridiculously close to the control room. Only a few more meters and he would burst through that door and foil Eggman's scheme.

Eggman hearing the hedgehog run down through the hallway, he quickly released Silver Sonic from where he resides "GO!" He yells! Silver Sonic charged through the door breaking it in the process and attempted to ram into Sonic, to distract him from stopping Eggman and bringing his attention now to itself.

Sonic was distracted by his amazing ego and the fact he was still alive. He was hit full on in the face and sent careering across the corridor and into the wall, putting a crack in it. "Augh..." He says, slouched against the wall. "...Huh?" He quickly jumps to his feet, and glares at Silver Sonic. "What... what even is this? Eggman!" He looks at one of the cameras, and looks back to Silver Sonic. "This is your new pet, huh? Real original. Stealing the super slim handsome hedgehog looks from me... Look I appreciate the flattering, but if ya love me so much, you just have to say."

Silver Sonic stood there staring at Sonic, with a blank metallic expression. Eggman was watching him taunt him from the camera. "Lets see about that...." He took out a remote control and aimed it for Silver Sonic. "Auto Pilot....DESTROY HIM AT ALL COSTS!" Silver Sonic began at a spin dash, with spikes, and charges at Sonic once more.

Sonic quickly reacts, and hops over the top of the mechanical look alike painted a nice silver. It was actually a well made robot. Shame it was going to be completely destroyed in the next five minutes. Robotnik did own it after all... Sonic glares at the doppelganger after landing. "Too slow~" He wags his finger, knowing Eggman can see. He grins cockily.

The robot paused for amount, and turned around facing towards Sonic once again, before it launched at him using its rocket boosters, and its hand now turning into drills. It attempted to blind side Sonic while he was busy gloating to the doctor.

Sonic gasps, and dives to the side, narrowly dodging a fatal wound. He gets a light cut from the drills instead, and yelps, holding his side. "Augh!" He lands on his feet again, and wags his finger, before counter attacking with a spindash.

Silver Sonic turns back around to make another attempt, but gets hit directly at the spin dash, and begins to short circuit. The robot begins to static and twitches ever so often.

Eggman watching the small fight from his control room, tried to control the robot manually but failed. "Heh? What is this!? The controls they're busted!"

Silver Sonic, twitched from the short circuit, and charged at Sonic again, with heightened speeds, attempting to headbutt him using its whirring spikes on the back of its head.

Sonic grinned at Eggman. "...Can't ya robot take the hea-Whoah!" He was cut again, this time a bit worse. Luckily he had jumped upwards, otherwise he would have been knocked out. He then used this as his chance. He did an aerial downwards homing kick, targeting the metallic head of the bot. "HYAH!"

The robot was hit from the attempted homing attack of the robot, causing it to recoil and spark uncontrollably before exploding. Eggman who was observing the fight for this long, was now worried, and tried his best to escape to his Eggpod and regroup. but before he did so, he quickly pushed a button, which caused metal clanking to occur from within the Death Egg....what the button did though was still a mystery.

Sonic shielded himself from the blast, and grinned. "Psh, that was nothin'... best ya can do Eggma-?" He felt the floor shaking. "...I gotta hurry!!"

He dashed through the higher level. Pat pat pat pat... footsteps passed, until.... BANG! KLUNK. Sonic burst through the main doors of the control room, ready to face Eggman once and for all. "Eggman! Give it up! You're finished!"

Unfortunately for Sonic, Eggman was nowhere to be seen as he has escaped to below the deck.

Eggman snickered to himself, as he was heading into below the deck "All according to plan....soon that hedgehog wont be able to stop me..." He laughed again at his plan to himself.
