Venture into Neo-Izheugate

The creature froze, cocking its head to one side as it peered about. One eye locked on its visitor, the other scanning the rooftops beyond. Spreading its jaws to show its teeth, clearly meant for grinding, it turned. Its head kicked to the side once more as its eyes traded jobs. 
 Its lithe framr crouched low, its right hand a bloody stump held close to its stomach.  Releasing a bizarre clicking as its jaws rapidly tapped together, it snarled, drool dripping between its peculiar plates to the concrete. 
 As its visitor spoke,  it paused, questioning if it should ease. It decided against it, giving another chortle of clicks and groans, before smashing its good hand into the concrete. A clear"stay back" from its more animalistic perspective

Shrike would see the area was build for small hover transports in mind as the center of the area would have smaller lab complexes along with prisoners 'volunteering' as Guinea pigs for different research, although the area is currently on lock down due to the prisoner escape. The center would be a hologram projector for announcements. As of now its just talking about the escaped prisoner and that 'CAUTION is advise in recapturing her due to she has an unusual power'

The cruisers will continue to look for Lyra as another group will be searching the same area for the creature. Spotlights shining onto alleyways and other crevices of possible escape. The Fossa Will have a group of Egg army soldiers as he listens to the communication after speaking his mind to the newcomers that join them

'So we now have an escaped prisoner and a possible experiment. I want Squad bravo equipped with net electro net guns. We will capture them both and return them to the lab complex.'the Fossa will yell to the two squads as Squad Bravo pull out large steel containers opening them to reveal the net guns. After they equip the squad the Fossa will lead Squad Gamma and Beta to find the creature and Lyra.

-It was like he had the entire place too himself, not a soul insight, good the facility area he was currently in seemed too be a testing zone for personal, again this was all too familiar territory too another corporation that thankfully went complete shut down years ago. 

keeping his eye out for cameras or any other kind of monitoring equipment the figure made his was down, glancing by some observation windows in where he could see beings being held for testing.

The urge began too arise for Shrike too liberate this prisoners but this would blow his cover on why he was here in the first place, he had no countered on this nor was informed on what too do with these so called prisoners.

Choosing the smart route Shrike ignored it for now and pressed on, exploring complex after complex seeing some pretty horrific stuff along the way, still no sign of the project as of yet. 

With communications lost entirely Shrike began too do a field record via his helmet, recording what he was seeing in hopes of giving this intel back too who ever it was that sent him here too begin with. 

Checking each corner as he moves forward Shrike kept his weapon aimed down the sights, if some one or thing even attempted too engage he would pump it fill of rounds.

"What the hell kind of operation are they running here, personal for testing ? I guess this is going much deeper."

-Shrike seemed too make it too another elevator, proceeding too the next floor unknown of what awaits him there. Again the doors made the same ping sound as the metal doors opened, Shrike moves with even more caution into the second level.-

Lrya made no move to come closer to the creature. She held her hands out signifying that she wasn't going to attack and that she didn't mean harm.

"I naan nu ha'n. Pftaata, ftas na haftl."
(~I mean no harm. Please, let me help.~)

She kept her distance as she spoke to it in a reassuring voice. She wasn't sure if it could understand her. So far it only displayed animalistic intelligence. Something that could easily be delt with if she needed too.

Unfortunately she didn't have the time to wait on it. She could already hear several search parties in alleyways and other places around them. It would only be a matter of time before they were found.

"Cuna ghush na, I than haftl xuia atthala ang gha ftush than gas uias ur ha'a."

She held out a hand. Hoping it would come with her.

Pausing, the creature shifted once more, finally locking both eyes on her. Hands up, eyes focused. She wasnt planning anything. Even the most sneaky have to make sure the surroundings are as they need to be.this girl wasnt going to try anything. 
 However, listening to the sounds of the city, the creature quickly moved to the edge of the roof, head peering down to the alley below. So far all he heard were machines. But now voices were coming from the city. Things were changing.
 Giving the visitor a questioning glance, he gave another burst of clicks, before turning to face here, taking a decidedly less hostlie stance. It wasnt stupid atleast

Shrike would see on the second floor a Pangolin with most of his back covered in artificial plates with a few egg army soldiers as body guards talking to one of the heads of security. He would be able to over hear there conversation.

'Why can't the eggSWATs find one single prisoner? You know that Project Gemini is the pinnacle of 8 years of hard work. I made enough sacrifices to make sure this project succeeds.'

The head is a regular 5-foot tall human male which the 5'6 foot Pangolin Grabs him by the collar and pulls towards his eye level the man after hearing the displeased voice of the pangolin begs.

'It's because this lady is some sort of Shapeshifter. She got out of her EXP-Collar and flew away.'

The pangolin drops him 'A shape shifter... interesting... This could fix a problem I wanted to fix, but had to shy away from project gemini until a solution is found.' he will start walking away from the man' You better find her or you will be the next subject of my project... Maybe that small brain of yours can understand?'

The male gets up and nods to the pangolin as he runs off.

The armored male would also see when the pangolin is moving 4 security drones passing through the second floor doing there preset security sweep.

As soon as the creature and Lyra is about to bound a Cruiser search light will hit them. The front of the vehicle opens up revealing a pulse laser and a net gun 'Halt. You have 15 seconds to surrender. Or we will use force.'

'This is Car 15. We found the escape prisoner and whatever the hell this thing is.'


The fossa will respond on the CB radio' Maintain eye contact. I'm ordering all cars to head toward your sector. Capture them immediately. The Girl is the priority target. You may use lethal force for the other.'


'Understood. We will proceed with capture.' with that the police cruiser will aim it's netgun towards the female and fire attempting to capture Lyra. Two of the police cruisers patrolling the area will respond and head towards lyra and the creature's location while the Fossa and the rest of team head out.


Meanwhile, on the roof top Lucia will hear the radio chatter as she gets a good running start and jumps to the next building to join the rest of the group.

-Shrike hugged the nearest wall, peering his head just inches as too get a general idea of who was talking and who it was he was observing. By what they were saying these guys were in a high rank position. 

It was apparent that this so called escaped prisoner was becoming a real annoyance and despite the number of units searching for her they could not complete this simple task. 

Shrike was trying too put the pieces of this confusing puzzle into place, still recording from his helmet, this intel would only serve those well when he would bring it back..provided he did even come back. 

Now something about a shape shifter was only gonna make this more interesting, apparently she is vital too the project in some form or another. 

Two options were presented too him, one he could some how captured this head, or he could continue searching for the project, regardless this level seemed too be exactly where he wanted too be. 

The drones were not gonna make this easy, no where too really run or hide beside the confined space just prior too the exit for the lift. It seemed now Shrike had been backed up into a corner with no where too run or retreat too hide.

Here on out he was gonna have too fight his way too the project. The armored figure checked over his fire arm..ammo loaded..front barrel grenade loaded and armor checked. 

The first drone was coming his way, it felt like at first time had grind too a halt or at least slowed down, he turned the corner slowly opening up full automatic fire from his rifle as 7.62mm bullets ripped down the hall way, tearing chucks off the ball, sparks coming off metal pieces and his casing hitting the floor.

Directing the heavy auto fire onto the nearest drone, his cover was blown, it was fight or be killed at this point.-

As Lyra sighed in relief that the creature was willing too come with her she caught off guard as a a empire search vehicle suddenly lit them up. She was off guard and blinded by the light. Before she knew what was happening she felt herself get caught up in a net. Before se could even attempt to get out she was yanked up, her wings and limbs getting tangled up in the netting.

"G-Gah... 'ian! Gas uias ur ha'a!"
(~G-Gah... run! Get out of here!~)

She struggled In vain as she was Pulled up. Her horns resonated faintly as she torn at her restraints, pulling and tearing. She couldn't let them capture her, s h e wanted to help achieve peace but so long as this empire was here it would be impossible. And the Yrvx were nowhere near ready for battle... the ship alone could barely survive rentering The planets atmosphere.

As she was dragged she proceeded to try and escape. However due to not having much food or sustenance over the course of three days she was running on her last fumes.

Finally her struggling stopped as her Yrvx form faded out. Returning her to her mobian form.

The drone will fall and crash into the 1st floor as the pangolin notices the drone crashing as his artificial plates raise and launch like drones towards the sound of the rifle.

'Someone is here. Capture or kill them immediately!' the Pangolin shouts the order.

The guard and the pangolin move to position to get somewhat of cover as the alarms go off yet again. A squad of eggSWATs run towards the elevators and stairs to find the intruder on the 2nd floor as security drones move in towards the area where the drone was shot down at.

The cruisers will hover over as the Fossa makes it there and orders the troops to grab the girl and put her on the next Transport back to the lab, As they were dragging her into the transport a call goes to the Fossa.

'What is it Nohman?... What' the Fossa pauses for a bit as he nods for the transport to take off.

'All units head back to Dax's Lab. They have an intruder. It will take us time to get there, but I want everyone to blockade the above ground entrances should the security unit fail.'

With that command from the Fossa and troops move to mobilize and prepare to get off the ground to assist there comrades, but it will take some time to get there.

-Well that was one down, Shrike had contemplated this may of been a bad idea, however there was no time too go back too stealth, he was in for a fire fight, he knew it and had come well prepared for such a event, his relentless gun fire had downed a drone, not too mention tearing up the corridor upon which he had fired down.

Sparks and smoke came off from just about all surfaces, little too no cover was offered, Shrike made sure too seek some before going full auto, he knew return fire was only a matter of time, his first strike method was too sow confusion giving him a upper hand in the battle. 

With smoke now lingering in the air Shrike would switch his helmet over too thermal optics allowing too see heat sources through the smoke of battle. 

Picking up multiple contacts, addtional drones were en route, sparing no time Shrike discharged the empty clip, loading in a new one. Now able too make his way with some what visibility, he concluded now was probably the only time he could relocate. 

The armored figure darted forward navigating past the smoke and wreckage of the downed drone, heading almost right past the Pangolin, With the Swat bots behind him..the only way now was forward. 

The drones were heading for the last know sight of one who just got its tin can handed too him, by the time they would get too the drone Shrike would of re positioned.

Heavy foot steps passed the Pangolin and guard, either completely ignoring them, or having no idea they were right there. Shrike had other ideas then slugging it out in a drawn fire fight, he was looking for Project Gemini.

Lyra felt herself get pulled up In the net. Her body fell limp In the net as she was carried off.

~Erg... If only I could've escaped... the others aren't ready to help me... I just need to hope for another chance to escape.~

She let herself fall asleep considering how tired she was. Her mind falling into a deep meditative state as her mobian half rested and her Yrvx side became dominant. Her eye's gaining a yellowish tint as it kept watch on her surroundings.

The pangolin will pull out a heavy handgun and looks to the guard ' Find the intruder and kill them quickly. This project mus succeed without fail. If this project fails I will be using you for my next experiment and I will not be gentle.'

After running pass the guard and pangolin the pathway to the project area will be on the left and to the right which the hallway will look brand new like it was recently modified with metallic walls instead of the standard business walls on the previous floors.

The hall way leading to project Gemini is there in sight, but it seems too easy. The armored individual would notice the hallway looks unguarded, but he could sense danger. In the start of the hallway has a bio metric scanner for a hand and a retina scanner at the end next to the door. He will see a normal non-mobian rat moving around the area it would trip off an invisible laser and get shot to pieces by ceiling mounted plasma guns before they retract back in. On the hallway on the west side that leads to the project Gemini hall way a mobian Kiwi will be leaving the bathroom and due to the labcoat it states he is a scientist working in this lab.

On the transport the crew inside was a female human coming in numerous times to keep watch on Lyra while the driver was a Male weasel with mechanical dreadlocks connected to the transport. Lyra will see two E-series robots on standby mode stored on the wall. Meanwhile, the front window will see other vehicles pass by as there heading back to the lab she escaped from.

-The confusion had worked, he had escaped for what possibly could of been a dead end for him, back in terms of no where too run and probably been taken out, in the confusion the armored figure had relocated too avoid detection, it would only be a matter of time till they would find him again.

Using the time he had on his side the figure would come too junction, which direction too go, but he clearly knew this area is where his target destination was, he had not come this far too back out now. 

Shrike would choose too enter the newly looking hallway, that is when the figure spotted some one else coming in his direction, this figure seemed too trip something on the ground level under him, suddenly automated turret defenses sprung out from the walls an completely eradicated the being from existence right before Shrikes eyes.

Well that just about changed his mind right there and then, however he was almost certain there was a way too get round this, unfortunately he did not have the luxury too waste too much time searching for a way past it, armed security was on the way and he knew it.

Seems like luck was on his side in this particular instance. A being exited from a bath room on the opposite hall way, a Mobian in form. Shrike knew exactly what he was going too do in order too by pass this security.

Turning his attention too the Mobian,  Shrike aimed his weapon dead on the Mobian.- 

"You there! Don't move..don't say any thing or I am gonna blow your head clear off your shoulders...See that Bio metric scanner system there...I want you too go over too it..and get me access past this security system...do this..and I'll let you live..failure too comply..and well...you know exactly what I will do too you...move it!"

-Shrike's threats were not too be taken as  joke he was more then killing too shoot this Mobian should be deny him the ability too pass. One way or another the figure was getting into project Gemini, He could hear panic down the bullet hole ridden hall way he left behind...they were coming..time was against him now.-

Lyra soon woke up as they arrived at the outskirts of the lab. She once again tugged at the netting she was trapped in but was unable to free herself. Any attempts only got the net more tangled and tight.

She looked around at her captors. Her face one of dismay and fear.

"I hope your happy," he voice was off as it sounded like several voices were speaking at once. "When I get out of her I will be back to liberate all these people your kind has trapped here..." her eyes narrowed as she shifted in her Yrvx form again, "...and wipe this city from the face of the planet."

She remained on her knees as she stared at her captors. Although weak she was ready to take any chance to escape.

The Kiwi will stare at the gun pointed at him gulping at the sight ' Your.. Your that intruder...... HELP... HELP' the kiwi will scream in fear for his life as he was shaking. He was just a scientist he's not a soldier. The robot drones will continue there search as the footsteps can be heard of the pangolin heading towards there position.

The group will drag Lyra out, and they get into the building before they were stopped by the guards ' Sorry,but you cannot go any further. The lab is on lock down until the intruder is dealt with. '

The fossa will walk to the guards ' Know what the intruder looks like?'

'Unknown. The drones only got a slight look on him before it was destroyed. Whoever it was is crafty and cover their tracks pretty well. They could be trying to steal information of our projects.'

The fossa will look to those outside ' Stay outside with the building surrounded. We don't know what surprises wait inside. We will move in IF Dax calls for it.' he will turn to those that brought Lyra in ' Be careful with that one. She might try something' the fossa will leave and head outside to observe the situation.

-Welp he had given him the choice too cooperate, guess it was time too do it the hard way, not wanting any more attention, Shrike delivered one hell of a gun butt too the face of the kiwi, enough too knock him out cold and of course too shut him up. 

With the being knocked out, Shrike began too drag the body across the floor towards where the DNA scanner was. He could hear them coming, quite a few at that he could sense. 

Upon reaching said device, Shrike picked up the out cold body placing its hand upon the scanner location too see if this was going too work. After which he position the Mobians head too allow the retina scanner too do its job.

The device seemed too be taking some time, every second that would pass would be a second wasted or a second too late.

"Come on come on hurry the hell up with this god damn scan..those assholes are about too be here any minute and I will be over run..this would of gone so much easier if you just cooperated with him!"

After the scanners had completed there task, Shrike dropped the body onto the ground with a thud, tapping the top of his head with the barrel of his gun.- 

"Thanks for your help you are relieved."


-Now all he had too do was wait for the system too shut down the damn defensive grid before him too allow his access into project Gemini.-

Lyra waited, Preparing herself to make a move. She heard them talking about someone else in the facility that was here. Maybe she could get help fom whoever was there?

"I hope you will have a good explanation for your superiors..." she let her claws extend "Because I don't think they will be happy with you."

With the last of her strength she Grabbed the net and tore through it with her teeth and claws and, with her wings free,, shot down the hallway. Knocking any soldiers or robots out of her way as she went deeper into the building head for what she thought was the direction the other intruder was.

When the laser turn off and the soldier moves into the room he will see a large room with large tubes containing... limbs of mobians and humans in a liquid to keep them preserved along with cybernetic limbs that look more advanced than the usual empire fair. The SOLDIER would also see a floor below him with a series of large machines where mobians and humans are locked in on large rings in a pose similar to da vinci's vitruvian man. He would see the horror as they undergo heavy cyberization and modifications, before he can see more he will hear mechanical footsteps along with some soldiers downstairs. The robot was tall and slender presuming the height to be 8 feet tall. The machine will be asked by a human scientist to attack an egg pawn as the machine stares at the pawn as it fires off a shockwave that crushes the thing into the test wall leaving nothing.

The merc will hear the following.

'Thanks to the finds from Dax's previous mission this is helping our research into this psionic capable cyborgs.'

The lynx scientist huffs as the human one's remarks ' Sadly they can only project psi blasts. It's why that crystal lodged into it's brain can only do. Nowhere near the levels from those born with psionic capabilities. Hopefully the rest of its combat capabilities will suffice until we can find a way to tap into the part of the brain that allows the individual to unlock psionic abilities.'

Lyra will pass the security defenses as she will be shot at by everyone even passing by the pangolin as she arrives at the possible intruder's location. The Pangolin will order the troops under his command to quickly get to project Gemini to defend it.

When Lyra arrives it will be in the same hallway Shrike went through, and she will find a Kiwi knocked out near the bio metric scanner. The are's lasers are online and the group is closing in quickly on her.

-Shrike entered his destination area, before sending the place straight to hell the lone figure decided too explore and see just what this whole project was about, using his helmet's ability too record this data could be invaluable too any one seeking its gain. 

The first room was seeming like a holding are, vast network of tubes housing living beings in stasis. Cybernetic augmentation was noted on them, he walked passed a few glancing at them. 

"What the hell is this..."

Next was live augmentation of subjects with said cybernetic altering, there he could see it happening before his eyes. They seemed too be transformer this subjects no doubt into some kind of cyborg weapons of war. 

Proceeding onward Shrike came onto a full display of what would be the demonstration of the final  product, a large tall machine joined by human scientist who promptly asked it too destroy its designated target which it did with incredible force. 

This display of force only further emphasized the need too destroy this place and project. However he simply couldn't just abandon the subject too death or a fate worse then that. 

Shrike proceeded back too where he had begun and concluded he would make an attempt too break those out of containment before doing so good old fashion damage control. 

Upon reaching the holding area where he first entered, the lone figure set about trying too open these stasis tanks by any means, tho the quietest would do for now. Try as he might figuring out how too do so proved complicated at best, some times resorting too simply putting a bullet or two into the glass and bashing the rest of the way too the glass would shatter.- 

"Those guys are gonna be here soon! I can't simple abandon the lot too their death..I have too continue busting them out and maybe..just maybe they can even my odds...Once this is done...I'm gonna destroy this entire thing...burn it too the ground..along with the rest of this natural hell." 

Lyra looked around quickly and strategically. As she glanced over the scanner she also saw the figure on the floor.
Putting two and two together she picked up the kiwi and used him to open the door. Hurriedly she flew the door and made her way through the large room.

She felt her two halfs internally puke at the site of the stuff in the room. Cybernetics... the people... what was left of them. She began to look for anyone out of place as she tried to stay out of site. She didn't want to be in here any longer.

The human scientist will turn to the other scientists 'We need live testing before this can be approved by the benefactors. I want the 3 prototypes on board the Land train heading to Test Ground 19. We will do it after the red alert is over with.'

The other scientists will salute the human and in unison ' YES DOCTOR KANO!'

Outside the lab the pangolin will slam his hand into the bio metric scanner 'I want 4 squads to continue looking for the intruders. flip this place if you have to I want them alive or... otherwise. They could be trying to stop what we are doing here and I want to make sure our project is successful. Shame that Lucia is not here she would be perfect'

Dax would turn to his own eggkreigsmarines 'Contact ChromeJaw. She may not be Lucia, but better to have her than no one.. Especially yourself ' he would say the last to the monkey as he gets disgruntled by Dax comments ' Whatever you damn pangolin. My men will find them with or without your approval. Go back and mess with your subjects.'

With that the monkey leaves as the pangolin walks into the corridor heading towards the door.

-Shrike gave up on trying too figure out how too release the holding tanks instead opted too simply shoot out the glass, breaking it in the process but at the same time giving away his position too the enemy. Perhaps now they would wake up. 

With that object..more or less completed he moves on now using his grenade launcher that had been slung under his rifle. Discharging HE shell after HE shell into various computers, machines and over devices. 

Shrike began too destroy the place with severe force, explosions rained down as bits and pieces of technology were wiped out in seconds.

His goal was too at least cause enough damage too halt the project and possibly prevent further production. From area too area he moved using what ever means too destroy the place. 


Shrike hadn't quite figured out a escape plan just yet, but it seemed like he was going too have too fight his way out after this was done. 

" I hope all this burns in hell..cause that is where this all belongs." 

-Was all he muttered too himself as he watched small fires erupted from where he had been, destruction following in his steps.

As Lyra made her way through the lab there were sudden explosions and and gun fire. Within moments she saw scientists and security personnel rush about the lab. She quickly made er way from cover to cover avoiding destruction. Finally she saw the one causing it all. Without hesitation she flew over to to him, calling to him.

Haftftu, I'n ha'a su haftl. I ghuth xuia nu ha'n
"Haftftu, I'n ha'a su haftl. I ghuth xuia nu ha'n"
~Hello, I'm here to help. I wish you no harm~

She made it clear to not be threatening or appear to be attacking.

As soon as the gunshots are heard the scientists scatter with one hitting a switch as one of the prototype cyborgs turn to the noise as it's legs extended to get sight on the targets as warning lights go off ' LOCKDOWN... ENGAGED' The area will be sealed without entry. The guards will run upstairs to find the intruder as the human scientist known as Kano shouts out ' Take care of the intruders immediately. '

The fire caused by Shrike will also activate the fire suppression system which would be a gas due to the sensitive electronics, The prisoners that weren't chopped up yet and in the tubes would keep down as they try to get air since the fire suppression system is made to reduce the oxygen levels to kill the fire.

'Hurry and get your masks on! The Suppression system is turned on.' a Jerboa scientist will yell as he breaks a glass of the bottom floor's gas mask containers. Luckily Shrike and Lyra would see one near the right side wall with enough gas masks for themselves and the 4 prisoners.

The cyborg will be scanning for targets while the security staff wait for the intruder to show themselves before firing hoping that the suppression system will panic them to find breathing masks.

Outside the door the Pangolin is not amused due to he is locked out of his own lab. He would turn looking at the Kiwi who regained consciousness and the two kreigsmarines and EggSWATS ' I want a team to cut that door open NOW!, as for.... the kiwi there. Take him to the cyberization chamber.' he will walk to the kiwi standing over him ' You failed your duties to protect this facility. therefore, forego your humanity. Hopefully you will do better as a shoe shine droid.'

And with that two of the eggSWATS drag him away.

-Shrike was able too sow some more destruction, using the last of his throw able grenades into rooms, taking out devices and machines as each sphere shaped explosive ripped through the room. 

The battle was beginning too boil down too how much damage he could do in a short space of time, his options for escape thinning, his mind focused on bringing the project too a complete and utter halt. 

His weapons fire echoed through the rooms and hall ways, safe too say his company was only too welcome at this point. 

That is when some one appeared from the smoke and dusty of explosive ordinance, Shrike raised his weapon ready too engage, his finger inches from pulling the trigger was suddenly stopped when he heard some one call out too him. 

There before him appeared too be a Mobian wolf, she didn't seem too resemble any thing resembling guards, scientists or some kind of experiment. Regardless she was posing no immediate threat at the time but Shrike could not suddenly put his trust into a being he first of all did not know given the situation at hand. 

Yet he had already concluded she was not hostile. Little time could be spent on trying figure out who she was but he did have a job for her too carry out. 

Oxygen levels were dropping rapidly, thankfully his helmet had its own self sustaining system, however it would last about as long as one of the gas masks. 

"You...get too the survivors..there are gas masks right over there, do your best too get as many out as you can...I'v got too destroy this place..."


-That is all he would say before using his side arm too put bullets into the nearest device he could find, vanishing back into the thick of the smoke too carry out what he had come too do. His next destination was too locate the area where the cyborg process took place and destroy it.-
