Pandemoniun (Pt. 2)

Autumn shrugged. "But if it's true, it means that got into the city."

After several seconds worth of struggle, the dragon finally let Ris go. "I don't like big animals. Why can't you be a cute, little puppy that can fly?"

The dragon growled at her.

"yeah"
"Because they are a majestic dragon that deserves great care"

"Aren't you worried?"

The dragon licked her face and then laid down on the ground. "So... it's just gonna wait here? What if we need it to pick us up?"

"yes. Very worried. " Recin thought about it. "Oh lovely dragon. Would you perhaps come to our help if I blow this whistle?" Recin said taking out the whistle.

"Guess we should just let the officials sort this out, right?"

The dragon nodded.

Willow nods. "Good. We'll be back later. Don't leave"

"I hope nothing bad happens to us."

The dragon growled and sprung up, flying away.

"Probably not. We haven't done anything wrong." "And it leaves. Of course." Recin sighs.

"But you heard it yourself; they attacked a councillor and she didn't do much wrong either."

Upon closer inspection, the dragon didn't actually leave them per se. It was just circling them overhead.

"I guess you're right on that but let's not think of that or it might just happen."

"Well let's go see what we gotta see."

"Right. Last thing we need is to wish it upon ourselves." Autumn said with a shudder.

Ris nodded and started climbing. She was never a big fan of outdoors activities like this, but for the sake of Recin, she didn't say a word about it.

"Yes, that's truly the last. We just need to keep our hope high. "

Recin climbed calmly. He had climbed many times before.

"I think we should go home, spent some time with Lotus."


It didn't take that long for him to find a winged imp, sleeping on a pile of rocks.

"alright. I'm sure she's going to be happy when we come."

Recin did a silent victory dance. Truly it was obvious he worked alone all these years. He took out a little sketch book and pencil and started drawing the imp that was sleeping

Upon coming home, they'd find her gone, with a note read at. "Don't worry, just at friend's."


The imp wouldn't notice, snoring cutely as it slept.

"Maybe we should pay a visit to her friend's house? " Willow suggested.

"What a cute thing..." He whispered

"Definitely."


The little imp would toss and torn, eventually waking up, it's small, yellow eyes not noticing them just yet.

Willow headed to the door.

"yellow eyes....?"

The sky above them crackled. It would rain soon.


Before having a chance to explain the oddity, the little imp stopped dead in its tracks when it saw them.

It made a step backwards and spread out its wings.

"or not... It's raining. "

Recin started backing away slowly from the jmp trying to show he did have intention to harm.

"Little rain ain't gonna stop us, eh?" Autumn knock on the door.



The imp would growl, showing Recin its teeth, then move back a few steps.

"Must be the alpha," Ris guessed. "I've never heard of them getting territorial."

Willow signed. "But my fur..." She said looking at the rain.

"The alpha?!" Now recin was really backing up fast.

"We'll worry about that later. Finding Lotus is a tad more important."

The winged imp would screech, still holding its ground. "Strongest of the pack," Ris would tell him. "Just walk away, don't look away until it does."

"You're right..." Willow walked outside reluctantly.

Recin did just that.

As they approached the house Lotus was staying in, the door creaked open, the bent hinges barely keeping it in place. Though not apparent at first, as the door moved, there was a very noticeable dent in it, like something heavy had crashed into it.

The imp only let them be aftee both left his field of view. "Could have been worse," Ris noted.
