Pandemoniun (Pt. 2)

"This realm used to belong to angels. Rose was wise enough to block them entry the moment she set foot here, but I'm sure they can do a better job."

The dragon let out another grumple.

"I don't know...I've heard the angels have to follow strict rules. I worry they would make us all follow those here because of god. " Recin sighed. "Well what else would you like?"

"But this is their land; do you think ussurping it is a wise decision?"

The dragon stayed silent. It wanted to know what else he had to offer.

"no not really. " "Fine fine...I may...Know this place were dragons can like Karen more powers."

"Which is why they should have means of knowing."

The dragon listened; he had its attention again.

"I guess...but how so we do that?" "Bit I'll only tell you if you promise to help me please.

"A magical artifact is keeping them away. Getting rid of it now that I'm not alone might be easier."

The dragon shuddered.

"or might just be suicide." "Oh please. What else could you want? I promise on my life no harm will go to you"

"You can always walk away and pretend this conversation never happened."

The dragon licked his face.

"but then I'd go back to a boring normal life. " Recin smiled. He had been used to dragons doing that in hid place

Root stared at her.

The dragon nudged him with its head.

"fine I'll help.." "what is it?"

"Like most important things, it's houses inside of the single largest building."

"Of course..." Autumn grumbled.

"I think you've earned its trust now," Ris thought aloud. "Assuming you're still gonna give it what it wants."

"why is it always that?" "I know. I will keep my end if they keep theirs"

"Because they wanted the main building to be easily recogniseable."

"Isn't that convenient," Another grumble from Autumn.

The dragon walked by him. "I think you should mount it now."

"but still it has high security" "hmm..." Recin made his hand go on the back of the dragon. He move it from front and then stopped halfway. He got on the dragon there. "This should be a good place to sit.."

"I already have a plan, but it requires at least two sets of extra hands."

Another sigh from Autumn. This really seemed like a bad book.

"You know, my mother warned me about men inviting me to soar the skies on a dragon," Ris said, giggling. "When was the last time you rode a dragon?"

"stop sighing!" "Um..About a week ago. "

"I feel like I'm some sort of character in a bad book around a rebellion that' been suspiciously prepared in advance."

The dragon grumbled and flexed its wings. It was impatient.

"well reality check, this is real life! Not some book! " Recin took a good of the dragon. "Alright...You can start flying"

"FIne, jeez," Autumb grumbles. "But this just seems so suspicious to me. Like some elaborate ruse or something."

With Ris also on its back, the dragon spreads its wings and leapt into the sky. "This is... rather disappointing, really. Expected something a bit faster-"

As the dragon picked up speed, it was apparent she had offended it. Maybe those will be her last words.

"I mean...this does seem weird but... We can't just let an opportunity to help angels go to waste. If the place rightfully belonged to the angels, we do have to bring it back... but this is so hard.." Recin rubbed the dragon's neck. "Whoa...shh...shh...no need to get mad"

"We won't know unless we try."

This garnered yet another eye-roll from Autumn. As if they would be given another chance if they fail.

The dragon grumbled and slowed down. Ris was in shock. "g-good dragon," she said. "whatthehellpleasedon'tevergothatfast."

"Alright if I find something very up than we'll stop. But we also have to know if we fail it's over...and our kid.." Recin smiled. "Have you never gone that fast before?"

"It will likely be put in an adoptive family 'till you do your time in prison,"

"Never in my life," Ris answers. "And I don't think I ever went to."
