"Runes? Why?"

Legion caught her before she could hit the ground. Fimding a healer wasn't that big of a deal and he intercepted a few of them as they were leaving.

Now, as she was laying in a bed, he just waited for her to wake up.

Autumn followed her. "And what will the runes do?"

"Yeah. Luckily, the healers were amongst the last to leave and I asked them for help."

Autumn didn't question her and surely enough, they did reach one end of the forest.

Except there was nothing there.

"I also ran into some ice mages; two of them in fact. You said you were interested in that sort of magic."

Autumn scratched his head. He had no idea. "Maybe try contacting her?"

"Sure!" It was unlikely the two of them would still be at the fort, so he opted for a portal to Arcturus, the flying city of mages.

Which, just like this fort, was actually in the Void.

He led her downstairs and outside the fort. The new layer of grass over the desolate plain was growing along nicely. A portal popped out of nowhere as soon he aimed at the ground.

Arcturus was a place where magic and nature lived in harmony and it showed. Endless waters, enchanted, floating lights, gold adorning everything...
