Pandemoniun (Pt. 1)

"Yes, he is."

Azzar and Belial just stared at her patiently.

Legion listened carefully. He liked the tune.

"wow...That's a...Very unfortunate.." lillith then just turned to ink. She was nervous. Wendigo continued to play for a couple more minutes and then stopped.

"That's one of the reasons why instead of fighting him head on, I just gave him what he wanted. He's my only family."

Azzar and Belial, however, were not annoyed. Their patience was not yet tested.

Legion clapped.

"but that's not going to really help things. Can't you just I don't know...Make him not want chaos by hypnosis?" Lillith formed back and whispered what had happened to her. Wendigo smiled. "I haven't played that tune in a while

"Doesn't work on someone as powerful as him."

Azzar and Belial were devastated, but relieved that she had told them.

"It was very nice. Thank you for sharing it with me."

"hmm well I guess you need to figure out something you can do that he can't" "that's what happened..." Lillith looked down in shame. "I do not play it often."

"I haven't yet found what that is." She thought of kindness and selflessness, but bragging about those would kidna go against that. Pride is bad.

Azzar gave her a hug. "It's the past; you've gotten through. And as long as I'm here, no one will hurt you like that. Ever." 

"Which means that in all that time, your skills didn't get rusty. I respect that."

"well then get a nuke. I've heard nothing can survive it except for cockroaches" "but what if I get a new master and like...They are mean..." "Well I do not have many things to remember. So the the things I do remember I do not forget.

"You've got surprisingly violent solutions to problems," Lee told her. "I won't use nukes or any types of super-destructive magic."

"You worry too much."

"Is there any particular reason why you hate me?"

"but it would solve your problem and get you out of your stalemate. " "I don't! " "You've made my Wendigo not want to eat mobians...Why would you mass with that? "

"No, it wouldn't. Since we posses equal power, neither of us are able to kill the other."

Azzar chuckled.

"I only showed her that there's more than one option. Why do you decide what she should or shouldn't eat?"

"well then I'm not sure what you can do. " Lillith blushed. "Don't do that!!" "Because she is a Wendigo! We eat mobians! Why disrupt tradition?"

Lee stayed silent for several grueling seconds. "I won't disturb your dream any longer." And just like that, she started disappearing.

"How about you worry about it if and when it happens?" the Devil asked. "Worrying ahead isn't a very good idea."

Legion didn't say anything. He wondered if the spirit even understood the consequences of having mobians on its menu.

"goodbye. I'm sorry I wasn't able to give you the news you wanted to hear." "I guess" "no reply? So then there is nothing wrong with what I do. "

Lee smiled and then vanished.

"Let's go home, shall we?"

"There is. Mobians are moving away from traditions; they will hunt down all that threaten them."

Willow laid back down looking at the field. "If only every one was like this grass. All together in peace." "Sure. " "So you wish for me to stop what I have been doing for hundreds of years?"

The sun shone brightly, not a single cloud up in the sky. A calm, acoustic guitar-driven tune sounded in the background to add to the tranquility.

"My house or the mansion?"

Legion gave a nod. "Not for my sake, but for yours. Mobians have never been as strong as they are now."

"I wonder who is playing this music.?" "You can choose. " "But mobians are weak. They have no power.."

Either someone was playing it while she was sleeping, or there was someone else in her dream. Or she just had some good imagination.

"My house."

"But magical creatures have been getting rarer and rarer. Don't you think therer's a correlation?"

"i guess it doesn't matter. " She decided to stay and take a nap." "Then let's go" "I always thought the others were just terrible survivors... I..No that can't be..."

((Dream inside a dream   ))

She woke up in the middle of the field again, but it clouds up and about. Several sounds of thunder signalled an incoming heavy rain.

Azzar opened a portal.

"Consider the following – there are a lot more mobians than there are wendigoes. Thus, food is not the problem. But what if the food fights back in numbers?"

Willow decided to get up and look for cover. Lillith jumped through the portal. "Then...I have a problem...But i can't just.... Suddenly become nice...Then they will think I am weak!"

A small shack sat on a nearby hill.

Lillith was back in Azzar's house. The furniture was smaller and sleaker, making the house feel bigger than it really was. A small set of cyan potions sat on the desk.

"Kindness isn't a weakness. In fact, those that do mistake it for weakness are often beaten to a pulp by nice people pushed over the edge."

Willow went to the front of the shack and knocked in the door. Lillith looked at the potions. "Look what is that?" "then what is kindness?"

The doors creaked open.

Azzar quickly hid them in the cupboard. "What's what?"

"The idea that being polite and friendly at all times is a must."
