Prima nodes and started walking around. Devionus just looked at the homeless person. "A Chase? I love that!!" Dev followed behind.

Seeing this as suspicious, Stryker himself gave chase.

The homeless guy makes what's probably his last bad life choice, making it to a dead end. In a feeble attempt to escape, he tries climbing the wall, but can't.

"Ah, okay. It was a good joke, right?" He'd say to Dev as she approached. "We all laughed. Haha."

Devionus turned. She looked at Stryker. She smiled but it faded when she saw prima and Maggie. Prime couldn't believe it. Devionus looked like Liela yet, she was different.

The lamia would look at her with a piercing gaze. A gaze that'd stop her dead in her tracks if she let it connect with her face.

Stryker turned the safety off of his guns. "I'm not playing around - you will come with us. Slowly and quietly."

Stryker would shoot a warning shot, narrowly missing Dev's shoulder, just to show what kind of munition he was using and showing her that he meant business.

Knowing he wasn't dealing with Liela, Stryker opened fire, aiming for Dev's arms and legs - limbs he knew he could wound and use to disable someone without killing them.
