Maggie ruined the moment by bursting into laugher. Cannon fodder was simply hilarious.

The slab in the room moved out of the way and Maggie went first. The third room had an iron maiden for the blood sacrifice.

"Lovely."

Suprisingly enough, it was Ivona who stepped in. "No Liela," she said. "You're the leader. You have to survive." With one last determined look at the group, the contraption closed shut.

Ivona let out horrible, bloodcurling screams.

Liela could only imagine how much pain Ivona was going through. Liela covered her ears.

The screams went silent and Ivona let out one last gurgle, after which the iron maiden opened up and her mangled, lifeless body fell to the floor. It was like Liela's hand, just worse and all over her body.

The sight made Ayah throw up.
