The squirel took the set's chest piece and installed a gem in a hard-to-spot place on the back. There wasn't anything holding it in place, but it stayed put.

"Alright. Additional gems will go either above the first or below it."

To the suprise of absolutely no one, he raises a lot of zombies to do his fighting for him.

All five of them appeared inside a tower. It was nicely furnished and well-lit. A fireplace with a kettle near it kept the place nice and warm.

Beside one of the tables sat a person in robes as black as the night, cutting vegetables for what looked like a soup.
