Strings Of Fate & Falling

Max grabbed the blade forcing it back. "Kieko! I don't wanna fight you! Stop this now!" He said with a groan. Max's hand was startig to bleed from the blades edge

Kieko was unphased by his struggles as he continued to stare at him with a blank expression, the swords light getting brighter and brighter.

Roxanne ran over and tried to get his attention. "Kieko! You have to stop! You know us! We're your friends!" she pleaded, approaching him. "Try and remember!"

He looked over to her as he sensed movement to his left, but it didn't seem to recognise her at all as he used a gust of wind to blow her back a fair distance. Max was stronger than he expected as he only managed to jab the tip into his throat harder.

Max kicked kieko off him max flaming up  as he got up. He gave a roar as he turned into werehog growling. This was the only way to outmatch kieko enough to pin him down once max got the chance. 'If I can just use my telepathy maybe I can break those spells' he though as he growled roaring a challenge at kieko to goad him into attacking again.

Kieko got up without any trouble, his wings spreading wider as he held up his sword, some energy being absorbed into it from the atmosphere as the light around Kieko was beginning to get blinding that Roxanne had to cover her eyes before they burned.

He still didn't say a word as he suddenly flew towards Max, his eyes completely white and unyielding.

Max smirked as he tackled him to the ground dispite the burning he pinned kieko to the ground holding him down completely as he started to devile into his mind to find his friend.

Kieko suddenly slashed his glowing sword across Max's stomach, the wound deep and scolding before he kicked him off of him. He vanished, only to appear again with several copies of himself surrounding Max, their swords raised and a power emerging from their palms. They each took a slash at him at tremendous speed that at the blink of an eye, a person would miss it as they continued slashing.

Max seemed to endure it as he went further. "Kieko! I am Maximus primos! Your friend! Stop this now" max threw up a shield to protect from the blades.

However, Kieko didn't let up as he only made the copies of himself strike faster, attempting to break the shield as their eyes grew brighter. "Foul...demon..." He finally spoke, murmuring as his sword grew considerably in size, swinging it and striking right through the shield.

Max kept trying to heal but this was making it dificult. He didn't want to hurt kieko."

Another roar echoed as flames surrounded max makin the copies vanish knocking kieko back. Kaidori stood there now. In front of his son. "Hello did I miss anything"

"No the party just got started. " max said wincing

Roxanne watched from afar as she was lying on the floor, grimacing. She had never seen Kieko fight like this before and it was making her nervous. "Kieko..." She whispered, attempting to get up.

He rose to his feet again and his expression turned dark as he glanced at the newcomer. Kieko drew his sword again, pointing it in his direction, the glow returning as pale smoke seemed to be coming off of it.

Kaidori raised his hand. Kieko's glow started to seep out of him and into the demon's hand. "You may have faced normal demons boy but have you ever faced a demon king?"

Max started to heal as he ran to roxy to see if she was alright.

Kieko seemed to pause before he started to absorb more energy from the atmosphere again. He raised his sword, unleashing a great deal of power within him that it created another crater under his feet as he hovered above the ground. "Once." Was all he said before be shot up high in the sky and swung his sword, an enormous blast of white light falling down to the ground at such a speed that it collided with the demon, knocking him back far and hitting the ground with impact.

Kaidori chuckled as he hit the roun but he stood unscathed. "Such power, to bad it isn't enough." In a flash Kai slammed th sword out of his hand. And pinned him to the ground as he started to force his way into his mind. "Remember who you really are kieko, done of the great Asher, and friend to Maximus and roxy remember who you Realy are!"

Kieko wasn't succumbing to his power anytime soon as he started to mentally push him out of his mind, though he felt like his heading was burning up as his eyes started to glow brighter and brighter until it was blinding.

Roxanne sat up and looked to him in fright. "He's burning up! If Kaidori keeps doing that, he's going to fry his mind!" she cried urgently.

Max tenced as he got up and tackled his father off kieko. "Enough dad! Your gonna kill him at this rate."

Kaidori stood "the enchantment was forced on his mind. Only his will can break it now"

Max looked to kieko. As he stood he started to hold kieko as he for he's him to look at roxy. "Look at her. Do your remember her at all? Roxanne raccoon a girl we both swore our hearts to. Remember who you are kieko"

Kieko was struggling in his hold, but he couldn't seem to do anything else as Kaidori's power still had an effect on him. He was forced to look in the raccoon's direction, but he didn't seemed phased by her.

Roxanne's face held nothing but desperation as she suddenly knelt in front of him. She hoped Kieko was in there somewhere, battling the effects of the spell. She prayed they could still save him. Roxy remembered what he had told her about the time limit on the spell. It was only a matter of time before Kieko's memory would disappear permanently.

She whimpered before she cupped his cheeks, leaning into his space as his body was still paralyzed to an extent. "Remember...please..." she whispered before she leant forward and kissed him.

Max growled a little at that action but let kieko go the wolverines body seeming to relax. Was it working? Max wasn't sure but if anyone could bring back kieko. It was the girl they both fell in love with.

This was her last resort, she was getting desperate as she was scared that they had lost their friend. She only seemed to kiss him harder when his body started to relax in her hold.

Kieko's glowing eyes appeared to be fading to his normal colour. There was coherent whispering echoing around them as his power seemed to die down. Roxy only let go of him when she felt the intensity fade. When she did, she pulled away and looked at him.

He seemed a little out of it as he panted and his eyes were fluttering when he looked in her direction. "...Roxy??..." he breathed before he slumped against her body.

Max walked over as helped him up. Making kieko lean on him. "It's ok buddy. We're here for you" he said to him as he started to walk towards he village. He didn't want kieko to rest in his house, the Templars could come back and this symbols reactivate sniff they got near. "Your resting at my house tonight." The cuts kieko made Ito max's body were still droping with blood as they slowly healed. They would leave some scaring on his body once they were done healing

Kieko didn't reply as he only groaned in response, his head bobbing and moving from side as they walked, seeming as he didn't have proper control of his body yet as he was limp.

Roxanne went over to help, leaning the other half of Kieko's body on her own as they walked back to the village. Her heart was racing as she was suddenly hopeful. "You're going to be ok." she assured him, even though he probably couldn't hear.

When the finally got him to the house they laid him in the guest bedroom max had grabbed a chair and sat waiting for him to wake. Kieko was his friend and he was worried. He wanted this wolverine by his side in the future, both he and roxy wanted him there.

Roxanne reached over and held Kieko's hand, praying for him to wake up soon as there was no way she going anywhere until she knew he was okay.

Before long, Kieko groaned again quietly as his eyes fluttered open. Then he suddenly jolted, sitting up and scrambling to get as far away as possible, that is until he felt a hand in his. He looked down in confusion before his eyes found Roxanne's. Just at the sight of her, his body relaxed and he sighed a little. "Roxanne..."

She whimpered a bit in obvious joy and relief. He remembered her.

Max smiled happy he was alright the scar he left on his chest startin to show. "It's good to have you back kieko" he said sitting not far from roxy

Kieko immediately looked to him, sighing with relief. "Max...you're alright - " he started to say, but then he noticed the scars on his chest. "Oh, god. Max, what happened?" he asked, his eyes wide with worry.

Roxanne looked to them both, sighing quietly.

"The Templars forced memory alterations on you... When we went to your house we found the symbols all over the place. When I was about to leave you attacked me from above about to Stab through my neck. I tried to break the spell but you caught me off guard and slashed my chest before appearing with clones slashing from all angles... But I'm fine I'm alive. And your still my friend" he said walking to his bedside. "In the end it was roxy who brought you back
