Leorik smiled walking outside. Once he got outside he heard a noise. "Coming to check on Roxanne kieko?"

Kieko sighed before stepping forward. "I just...wanted to see how she is..." he said, almost too quietly for him to hear as Kieko looked down, a look of sadness across his face.

"She's asleep in her room right now kieko." He said smiling. "Why the long face my young friend?

Kieko rubbed his hand on his arm in discomfort, looking away. "I wanted to see if she was ok. And Max too I guess. Me and my dad had a long row and...I don't know what's going to happen from here." he sighed, stepping back.

"Sorry, it was a mistake coming here..." Keiko turned, walking away with a distraught face.

"You and your father are always welcome here kieko." He said as the wolverine left. He walked insides and went to bed with his wife

The next morning, the sun was shining into roxy's room. The cake and not still there. Out the window if she woke she would se max who seemed to be training outside.

Roxanne groaned as she eventually came to, glancing around until she saw a note and slice of cake. Oh.....she missed the cake and now everyone will think badly of her. She pouted before she took a look at the note.

Her pout turned into a small smile before she started eating her piece. It was a little dry from leaving it out all this time but she didn't care.

After she finished, she noticed Max outside and snuck out on the roof to sit down and watched as she waited to get her senses together.

Max was hanging from a branch by his legs doing a type of sit up. But he did it with such ease. He just kep going befor letting go and flipping onto his feet. Then he picked up his new sword and stepped on a wooden switch as training dummies popped up max went to each on hitting each on before doing a fatal blow to them all. He threw his sword so it stuck in the tree nearby and started to do som push-ups. He didn't even notice he was being watched

Roxanne giggled to herself, her tail curling round her body as she continued to watch him train. She was intrigued by his training techniques and she wasn't about to interrupt it as she remained still and silent.

She suddenly remembered that he was going to be the leader of this village one day, and she nodded. Roxanne wouldn't usually have this amount of faith in people, but she had the upmost faith in him. And when he was announced leader, she would support him all the way when the time came.

Max smiled as he stood up. He went and grabbed his watter bottle and drank. Then poured some wanted on himself. The water instantly turned to steam. He pulled his sword out of the tree and put it in a black leather sheath he had. He was wearing the glove Roxanne had given him. He put his jacket on and clipped the sword and sheath onto his back. He smiled slickin his quils back smiling as he looked up. "Morning roxy"

Roxanne smirked down at him, lying down on her front teasingly. "Someone seems full of life, especially in the morning." she chuckled, swaying her legs, her grin stretching wider when she noticed he was wearing the leather gloves she'd given him yesterday.

"Gotta be ready. Plus I woke up at six this morning. And I'm still wide awake" he jumped upto join her on the roof. "So what do you wanna do today?"

She stayed put on her front, looking up at him. She shrugged before answering. "Nothing much, I'm a little lacking in energy at the moment..." she sighed, before yawning. "Unlike some."

Did you get the cake?" He asked as he lay back a little looking up at the clouds. He smiled looking at he shapes they made.

Roxanne nodded. "Hmm-mm. Yep. I finished it in seconds. It was so yummy." she said, chuckling a little as she stared out at the village before looking to him. She followed his eyes and looked up at the clouds too.

"Sometimes I wonder if you can land on a cloud and fly it through the sky...." He said "but that would be kinda crazy." He looked to her. "Dad said he was gonna start buildin your hous today"

"Oh yeah?" She piqued an interest as she looked over at him. "That sounds cool. I hope it'll be better than our old house." she said. "We didn't have that much money."

"Don't worry if you need anything we'll help ya.... You want to know what I wanna do one day?" He smiled at the thought. "I want to open my own shop. A bike and car shop"

Roxanne looked to him curiously. "I know a few things about bikes too, but, are you sure you'll have the time when your preparing for leadership of this village. It's a lot of pressure, isn't it?" she asked, sitting up.

"I'll make time, it's not the much pressure and I won't start training to be leader till I'm eighteen.. So I still have a few years." He said "I just hope you'll be there with me"

Roxanne turned to look at him, her tails swishing side to side. "With you where?" she asked, tilting her head innocently, leaning back on her braced arms.

"In the future." He said smiling. "You and me and kieko. We can do wonderful things once we grow up. And I want you and kieko with me once we start."

Roxanne was silent for a moment before she snorted. Obviously Max had warmed up to him just like she thought. Maybe it was due to that confrontation and how Kieko chose for himself. Another thought came into mind.

"And then when you're older, you'll find someone to be with...and then you'll eventually marry and have kids with them so you can carry on the next generation...so they can take over someday and so on." She rambled, hugging her knees, looking at the village.

Max blushed. He looked away a little. Then said. "I won't have to look far when that time come" he said "though I think kieko and I might fight over her"

Roxanne suddenly perked up and moved closer to him in an instant. Her face read something close to joy and curiosity. "Really? You already have someone in mind? Who is she? Someone in the village. Is she pretty?" Roxanne beamed, questions coming out of her, completely supportive but also oblivious it seemed.

Max just seemed to smile. "She just recently moved to the village. Her house is being build right next door, and when I first met her by the oak tree on the hill I made her a promis that I've been keeping all this time" he said as he hopped of the edge of the roof
