"Kieko take it easy" came max's voice. "Don't fluster the girl too much." He landed just above them. "Just finished training for today, anything you two wanna do today? Besides taking turns at who thinks roxy is the most beautiful girl in te village" he said with a smile looking to Roxanne."

Roxanne made another noise of embarrassment, biting the inside of her cheek as she went red. "You guys keep saying that..."

Kieko snorted. "Because it's true." he said simply looking to her, then out at the scenery again.

She hummed in thought before shrugging. "I don't really mind..." then she had an idea. "Hey, we could go river riding again!" she beamed.

He snapped his head in her direction. "Roxanne, you know what almost happened last time..."

"Yeah, but we'll be careful. Besides, so fun and you can't deny that!" she smirked.

Kieko shook his head as he chuckled. The last time they went to the river was fun...but the rapids and going down small waterfalls were always risky, though Roxanne never seemed bothered by it. She was a real dare devil at times.

"I'm with ya. I can go get the raft and meet you guys at the river" he said. "Though I might have to try and sneak it past my mom." He said trying to think how he could avoid Lenora and ruby while tryig toget the raft

Roxanne grinned. "You'll find a way. We'll meet you there, Max. Come on, Kieko." she called, jumping from tree to tree with a gracefulness, looking back at them before going onwards.

Kieko stood. "See you in a minute, Max." he smiled before he started leaping after her, chuckling.

Max smiled. Teleporting back to his house. In six years he had gotten good practice with his demon and werehog abilities. Kieko spared with him every once in a while for fun and so neither of them got sloppy. Max snuck towards th shed in back hoping to avoid his mother and ruby he opened the shed and reached in grabbing the raft

Roxy and Kieko stood at the river bank, watching the water rush by. The rapids seemed moderate today so it wasn't as bad as last time. She knelt down to stick her foot in as she and Kieko had taken off their shoes.

"Let's hope Max doesn't almost fall out this time." she mused, swaying her leg.

Kieko snorted, looking at her. "If it wasn't for me, the entire raft would have capsized. You guys still owe me." he chuckled.

Roxanne glanced up at him and laughed, showing her cheerful smile that Kieko adored.

"If I recall kieko it was you who knocked me off the raft" max said appearing behind the wolverine. "And if it wasn't for roxy you would have fallen out too"  he set the raft down

Roxy giggled, chewing on her finger as she looked between them with an amused look.

Kieko snorted again, looking at Max with a smirk. "Well, you said I was a poor paddler."

"Well, we'll settle this when we got on those rapids and fast currents again, now come on." Roxy rushed them both, grabbing on both of their jackets for them to approach the raft.

With a little help from Kieko, she placed the raft halfway in the water before she motioned for them to get in, seating herself at the back and at the most important spot. She had actually prevented them form crashing into rocks, tipping to one side and more. She was perfectly good at steering.

Max grabbed a paddle and say on one side and kieko on the other. "Alright we ready to shove off?" He asked before pushing off the bank. And into the river current

Their raft was instantly taking away by the fast currents and down the rapids, turning corners at a speed.

"Whoooo!" Roxanne laughed, as she focused on the steering as they turned several corners.

Kieko laughed along with her as he paddled on his side, titling the boat so it would capsize as they turned. The adrenaline was beginning to affect them both as they looked at each other and beamed.

"Here comes the first of those waterfalls. Hang on!" Roxanne called, smiling widely as they went straight for it. "Close your eyes if you have to Max." she teased.

Max gave a devilish grinn. "Very funny roxy" he said as they went off the first waterfall max jumped up into the air to see what else was there before landing back in the raft after they went down the second waterfall. He seemed to grin as they just paddled ahead.

Kieko straightened himself, looking up before smirking, looking over his shoulder at Roxanne.

"Here comes the first set of rapids. Its down to you Roxanne." he said.

"Leave it to me!" Roxy grinned, really enthusiastic as she gripped her paddle tighter. "Just keep paddling guys. Don't want to get caught in the rocks." she smirked before going full steam ahead into the rapids, passing the rocks and small drops in the water where they went lower and faster.

She only whooped again.

Max and keiko paddled faster dodging the rocks ever so gracefully. Max smiled. "Yahoooooo!" He called as they sped up.

Kieko seemed to join in as he laughed loudly, paddling stronger on his side as they swerved in between rocks, dodging the trees, well, almost.

A tree branch went into his face as his head was covered in leaves before they kept going. He turned around smirking. "You did that on purpose didn't you?" he asked Roxanne who was giggling.

"Sorry..." she mused, chewing her finger for a moment, acting innocent.

"Yeah, sure." he hummed before he continued paddling, coming to the end of the rapids to a sudden calm bit of the river, just to rest for a bit.

"Expect the unexpected kieko. Especially with roxy" max said laughing as he paddled harder on his side they rush maki his eyes glow red again as his demon instincts started to kick in.

"You'd think I would know that. Tsk." Kieko mused before putting his paddle into the water so hard, Roxy was splashed. "Now we're even." he smirked.

Roxanne grimaced as cold, river water splashed across her face and clothes before she started chuckling as she started steering again when Max steamed off.

Kieko chuckled as they started to get to another waterfall, this one bigger than the last two. "Here goes!" he shouted over the water crashing down as he started gripping to the raft as they went over.
