She frowned. "Aww, poor thing." She looked around. "So, where do we go to get to the mystic ruins?"

"That's simple. Gracie can you please warp is back?" The Chao began to glow as the three of them vanished and appeared in a camp surrounded the ruins themselves.

Grace fell flat. "Oh Gracie you wore yourself out again" thorn picked her up and walked into the tent laying her in a soft bed.

She tilted her head. "Odd." Could that be me? She shook the thought out of her mind as quickly as possible. One, she just met her, and two, there was nothing special about Rose anyway. Just a normal 17 year old. "So.... What should we do now?"

"Well how about I make some lunch while grace rests" he said. "After she wakes we need to head into the nearby temple. I have to explore and write down the symbols." He moved towards a small kitchen set up.

"Coming right up" he said starting to cook. Rose would start to notice vines helping him out with the ingredients and cooking. "Oh I forgot to mention I can control and create plants of my own.

"Chao!" Grace said flying out.

"What's wrong Gracie?"

"Chao chao"

"Don't worry we won't leave you promise." He said handing a fruit to the chao.

"Strange thing is the deeper we get in these ruins they seem to be gettin worse." He said. "Last time it took me two hours to wake up from her nightmare. If they get any worse I might have to cancel my research here."

"She said thank you rose" he translated. He handed her a plate and bowl. Her grilled cheese and tomato soup. "Eat up"

"I don't eat much." He said. "Being able to control plants I can use photosynthesis. I can keep going on what I need to do and not eat for weeks"
