Hacker Girl

Leo smiled catching up. As they went inside the place had a retro vibe coming from it. Leo walked to the bookholdrr. 

"Name?"

"Lucipher."

The waiter twnced. "Right this way sir and lady. We have your table waiting for you."

Ven thought. "Unless there's more to this forest than just a pretty song

"You really have planned this didn't you Leo."she said and glanced to him as they were shown to their table.

"..if there is more I'd like to find out."Charlotte said and looked to ven.

Leo smiled. "I was planning it for when you got back from Nash's after out fight. I wasn't expecting to lose my leg." He sighed as they sat at the table.  The waiter handed them menus.

"Your waiter will be here shortly"

Ven stood for a moment. "We need to move towards the center of the forest... I can feel an energy resonating in the air"

Violet just looked over the menu."don't beat yourself up about it,a fight can wait till after you get that prototype on. Need to test it somehow. "She said.

Charlotte walked."lead the way then ven.im a bit lost in direction out here. "

He smiles. "Am I just a Guinea pig? Cause if so I don't mind so long as it helps you out" he said looking through the menu.

"That's because you didn't grow up around here." Ven said smiling. "The forest as a way of getting those who travel in here lost. So you might wanna stick close."

Violet smirked and looked to him."don't tempt me to just use you~. It will make what your trying to achieve fail."

Charlotte walked next to ven then heeding the warning."that would be tragic. "

Ven smiled. "If you want you can hop on my back. I can carry you" he said

Leo smiled. "Alright alright. Have you chosen what you want?"

"i can walk on my own thank you...have been my whole life."Charlotte said.

"well,i figured since i assume i can have whatever i please...I do know what i'll be getting yes.."Violet answered and set the menu down.

Leo smirked. "There's just no surprising you is there?" He set down his menu as the waiter came over

"What would you like to order madame?

Ven shrugged. "Ok fine. But if you get lost don't blame me. "He said teasing a little. He wouldn't let her get lost.

"Not when I find you a bit predictable."violet said and looked to the waiter." Yes ,I would like a salmon Wellington,roasted brussle sprouts with a fresh pasta salad.to drink...whatever would compliment my choices."she replied and blinked.

"Nonsense I would be so foolish as to get list I just fail to see why if need to be carried in order to not."Charlotte said sounding almost distressed to the idea of getting lost.

"So you don't get lost, cause I know my way around, and if you do get lost you may end up food to the many others who got lost in these woods" he listed looking to her.

Leo smiled. "I'll have the salmon dish my date just mentioned. The crab legs on the side and the chicken salad and the finest wine for me and the lady."

"Very well I will be back with your drinks shortly"

"Yet still doesn't justify it,I can simply just walk beside you the entire time."Charlotte stated.

"Hmh..."violet reclined in her seat and looked at Leo.

"It's easy to get destracted. The forest makes you see what your heart most desires." Ven said. "The song is only the trigger. The heart is where the gun is" he said.

Leo smiled. "Something on your mind?"

"then i almost want to get lost if it means i actually find out what i desire.."Charlotte said and looked to ven.

"..a bit,its not important."vi answered.

Not here. " ven said. "It'll kill you."

Leo smiled. "If it's not important why does it look like your so focused on that though."

"...well..didn't say it was the best way to find out.."charlotte responded and swallowed a bit.

".....er."violet leaned on the table and looked to him."...i really can't answer that."

Leo smiled. "Fair enough."

Their food came and so was the wine. Each of them was poured a glass. Leo picked up his and sipped a little.

Ven looked to her. "Just stick close to me and you'll be fine. " he held out his hand. It would at least make him feel better about all this. He didn't want to lose Charlotte in here. He didn't wanna lose her period.

Violet just smiled and looked to her meal,it smelled and looked great how could she resist that.but she almost seemed skeptical of the wine,as she sniffed it a bit and looked at it's color.

Charlotte was about to pull her hand away but just figured to let him have it,as she held back a sigh."...thats what i planned to do.."

Leo looked to her. "Something wrong?" He asked setting down his wine glass.

Ven lead her toward a larg clearing in the middle of the forest. A large tree stood in front of them glowing a bright blue as the song began to play again. "So this is the source.... Then how come I have a feelin something's not right"

Violet looked to Leo and blinked.'..nope,nothing,i was..just checking..its quality.."she said and sipped a bit of it setting the glass down.

"what do you mean a feeling something isn't right?"Charlotte asked and looked to the large tree where the song came from.

Ven growled. "Lost ones" his war hammer appeared

The sounds of what seemed like rabid dogs. But looked like undead mobians. Came charging forth from the other end Of the clearing

"It should be fine. It's a  greu di luci, the best wine made near South Island " Leo said

"i've been tainted once before,i appologize i'm a bit cautious."violet responded and ate.

Charlotte summoned her daggers and stood firm."mind to enlighten me as to all of this?"she asked.

"The lost ones are the many who have came here and never gotten back out. They formed a tribe in here and whenever anyone gets close to the tree they attack to turn you into one of them or kill and eat." He said "and something tells me their not gonna try to turn us."

"I understand. I have too at times. But I usually know before it happens. One of the perks of being a mind reader"

Taking a good grip on the handles of the daggers charlotte glanced to ven."well...that was so reassuring."

"okay.."she said and just ate.

"That's why we're not sticking around" he grabbed her dashing still holding the hammer.

The lost ones pursued.

Leo ate his food as well. In his mind he was hoping he wasn't messing this up
