December Event Week 4

The first part gripped had been the guard in the hands of Boubka that had freed the fancy looking piece from it's amber prison. The moment the boy took hold of it, the magical energy practically pulsed through it, almost beckoning to the blue fox. Mystery and knowledge clear from it's soft pulses of light, bright and eye catching, nearly impossible to miss from anywhere in the forest. After all these years, it finally was free.

For the handle it was Willakova that freed it from death's grip. Loud cracks and snaps as the fingers broke by her hand. If the death could roll in their grave, this person would've, in anger that it's priced possession was taken. The moment the rabbit took a firm hold of the part, it too began to pulse with great powers within it's core. Strength and pride as it's pulses were strong and practically blinding.

The last part of the weapon was the deadliest part, the blade itself. The cold blade taken from a corpse's chest by the hands of a hybrid by the name of Amya. Unlike the other pieces, the blade did not pulse, instead it seemed to practically drain the light out from around itself. Cold, death and hopelessness seemed to ooze from the brilliant blue blade.

Perhaps now that the parts were found, it was wise to reunite all the parts at the park.

Midknight turns to his ragtag team, gesturing with a point as if to say, "Can we get out of here already."


When he exits and everyone else is out, he gazes his deep brown eyes upon the power-radiating handle. "So what do we do now...? I suppose we try and hunt the people that were findin' the other pieces?..Or is that wise..? Isnt the weapon supposed to be dangerous..." he says, voice drifting to silence.

Boubka held the guard in his hand. He stared at it for quite some time. He could feel the magical energy pulsing through it. This thing could be really dangerous. It's a good thing that they found it and not some sort of bad guy. He jumped out of the tree. "I win!" He grinned "We should probably contact the others and go back to the park. Maybe the others are already back!" 

He called Luka with his phone and a few minutes later, she was already at the fountain in the park. "Wow. Nobody is still here. How long would it take for the others to come?" She tapped her feet on the ground and waited for the rest to show up.

Lumin frowned at first for not having won the race, but he seemed to get over it rather quickly. He slid down the trunk, landing on his feet and making the two daggers in his hands disappear in a flash of light. He stared at the pulsing guard in awe, wondering what sort of weapon it could be when assembled fully. 

"Yeah, going back would be a good idea!" He looked up at Echo. "We should get going then."

Willakova followed the dragons lead making sure to pick her plush up on the way out. She held the bun by her side as to not touch the handle or whatever the thing was she was holding. 

It did seem silly to put it together, especially if the other pieces were radiating something like this one. Though what were they going to do with it? It seemed powerful, but it was kinda useless in its current state
The rabbit just shook her head slowly, "if we didnt what would we do with it. everyone will probably go back to the park, so lets go and see what happens."

Echo nodded. He wasn't too disappointed that he had lost the race as well, and second place was rather okay. He made his way back down the tree. "Heading back to the park is our best bet then." Tyson and Zetski had now arrived at the base of the tree from following the pulsing light and energy. "Oh good, you found it already. That was pretty quick." Echo had jumped out of the tree as well. "Let's head back to the park. I wanna see what this weapon can do!" Zetski already took off with a running start to the park. Eager as he was, sometimes he was straight up impatient. Tyson and Echo stayed close to Lumin and Boubka when they headed back to the park.

Amya shivered again, she was cold, she was soaked to the bone and the blasted blade seemed to suck the warmth and life out of its suroundings. It was an aweful thing and even while she carried it in gauntlets made of ice to prevent the blasted thing from doing too much harm to her she was starting to wish she'd never plucked it from the bottom of the lake. She had concidered throwing it back in , but she'd gone through too much trouble getting it.

Still, was it really a good idea to unite it with the rest of the blade?. A bit late on that thought as he feet already carried her into the park, having encased the blade in ice before entering so it now looked like she was carrying a thick slab of ice instead of a blade, hoping to dampen its malevolent aura. She stifled a sneeze and tried to rub her nose with a soaked sleeve. 

She had thought of hiding the blade and not bringing it to the park, but that bat had probably seen her head off if anything and he might tell others and they'd come after her. Still it seemed a terrible idea to reunite the pieces. And even if they did reunite the pieces... who would get the weapon? She tightened her grip a little around her package, looking around nervously.

The wolf huffed and sloowly followed the dragon and the rabbit, kinda REALLY disappointed that he wasn't the main leader of the group anymore.
(like he ever was one *cough*)
  Also maybe from the fact that this handle seemed to have a stronger aura than he had, and he didn't like that too much. It was just a.. a thiiing, and it laid in grave for so looong! How could it be stronger than him? 
  And so the wolf would probably spend most of the way back to park looming over the rabbit's shoulder and glower at the handle with the laser red eye. Fuuuun and joooy.

With each step the wielders of the pieces took, the stronger the pieces started to react. Every single step perfectly in time with a pulse. Or in the case of the blade, that sucking feeling of draining everything around it. That while the handle and guard just busted with energy and power. Brighter and brighter the light glowed and the stronger the darkness was around the blade. 

The closer and closer the came the to park, the worse it got. Each of the pieces seeming to have a mind of their own as they had a steady glow/darkness.

The guard's feeling overwhelming, sending flashes upon flashes of information into the cyan fox's mind. Rabid, fast, hard to follow and headache inducing. It was not kind in that regard at all.

That while the handle's aura grew stronger and more noticeable as a force came from it, pushing hard again the hand that carried it, close to just cracking the bones. While the bones remained in tact, that force was not letting up at all.

And the blade? The blade almost seemed to tug at the hybrid's life force. Tugging at it in attempt to rip into it. But each tug, it failed even with it's tugging getting stronger.

The moment those that held onto the pieces could see each other, the pieces just...stopped. Back to that state most weapon parts are found as, metal and lifeless.

Every step he took, the flashing got worse. Sometimes Boubka even forgot what they were doing while walking back to the park. "Wow!" He sometimes yelled. It must have been creepy for the others. For Boubka, it was like getting through a thick snowstorm. You tried to clear your mind, but it just gets stuck with freezing cold thoughts. He started to grow a headache. "I...don't...wanna...continue...HAVE TO MOVE ON!" Then he suddenly started to walk faster then continuously walking slower again. They were almost at the park. If he kept that in mind, it would be alright for him. Don't get paranoid. The only thing he could do is just move forward. The others would help him when needed. "This is gonna be....Ack....A great Christmas...."


Suddenly. The flashing of vague images stopped. Boubka looked up and it seemed like he had seem life for the first time. His upcoming headache was still a bit there but it would probably fade away in a few minutes. "I made it. I made it guys! The images...they're gone!" He smiled and it gave him more courage to move on. He went to the fountain and hugged Luka. "Hello there. Did you find it? What is it?"

She paled conciderably as the blade's tugging on her life force became even stronger, feeling distinctly nauseated by it and every nerve at its breaking point , she was ready to just throw the disgusting thing on the ground and get as far away from it as she could. She didn't seem to be the only one having a spot of trouble with her found artifact though, if the expressions around her where any indication.

No sooner had that thought escaped her and the blade fel silent once more. The absence of its tugging was almost painfull and she produced a small cry of relieve. They wanted to make that thing whole again? everything leading up to this point kind of made her believe that this was a really bad idea. But she hadn't seen what that other had had to go through to get theirs.

Never the less she hesitantly approached the fountain, allowing the ice encasing of the blade to melt away and carefully setting it down on the stone with a slight shudder. " Awful thing...".

Echo stayed by Boubka during the walk to give him encouraging words and just to look out for him. It seemed like the blade had some effect on him, so Echo wanted to make sure neither Boubka nor the blade were in horrible condition. The constant speech to Boubka's self didn't weird him out at all. Tyson lagged in between him and Lumin, while Zetski switched between being in front of Boubka or behind Lumin.

When they had all arrived at the park, Zetski was brimming with excitement to see the pieces reunited. Tyson glanced at the guard, then at the blade being brought by someone else. "All that's left is the handle..."

With every step closer to the park the handle pushed harder against the frail rabbits hand.  She knew how weak she was and was terrified this would actually break something.  It took constant concentration to keep her grip on it and for a second she considered letting the wolf hovering over her take it, but she was petty and there was no way that was happening.  

She tried to walk with her head held high as if the thing wasnt doing anything at all. The second she got into the park and the stupid thing stopped trying to break her arm she didnt think much of it, probably trying to trick her into loosening her grip.  She scanned the park for the other pieces and was pleasantly surprised to find them already there. She walked as fast as she could while still seeming nonchalant to the fountain, relieved she finally got to get rid of the handle.

So close the pieces were to each other that it was not hard at all to imagine what the weapon would've looked like when all pieces were still in one crafted blade. But still the pieces remained, non of their pulses or draining that almost made them seem alive as they were carried. No, they just were chunks of metal now, to put it bluntly.

Except for the minor...'twitch' in the blade as the hybrid had laid it down. Ever so subtle did it move in place with small quick jerking movements. Okay so the metal pieces weren't as still as they seemed, just more subtle. A subtle motion that came a tad more noticeable the closer the parts got to one another.

By the time the pieces were practically in arms reach of one another, the blade's movements had started to be audible, the metal rubbing up against the fountains stone base. The handle and guard twitching but now as well, almost as if the pieces were begging to be put back together and be united as one sword once more.

This continued a moment before the pieces practically jerked themselves free of their wielders hands and from the stone base. Clanging together in mid air in such a calculated way that it all just slid together perfectly. The blade restored to it's state of perfection and the radiance of power it gave of, was strong as could be. Step too close and the feeling one would have around it would make it clear enough that this was no toy. This weapon was as powerful as it was beautiful. Beautiful and hovering in mid air non the less.

At least till a hand snatched it from it's position. Dainty fingers curled around the blade and took a firm hold of it. The sword pulled into possession of a young looking woman. A feline woman of a dark purple color with patches of more pink tones. A better way to explain was a galaxy of colors wearing a black with blue dress. Gems decorating the dress as well as found in accessories she wore on her body. With eyes that were black and void of life she looked at the few who had gathered the item.

"Thank you for collecting the pieces for me. Wasn't able to do it myself." Short she spook her words as she turned sharply to leave. Hand curled tightly around the weapon, tight enough to prevent anybody from taking it from her hold. Her back turned to them as she started to walk of. Talk about ungrateful.

Post is a day late because I completely forgot to post yesterday. So the last post will be moved to Thursday

The guard suddenly jerked out of Boubka's hands. This was bad. What if they actually didn't want to unite it. The guard had been playing with his mind before coming here. This weapon could be really dangerous, even in the good hands. They shouldn't have been united. "No!" He yelled. But there was nothing he could do about it anymore. The parts united with eachother.

Then the feline woman grabbed the sword. He didn't recognize her. She wasn't there at the treasure hunt for all he knew. Apparently she wasn't able to do it herself. That's the moment when he knew for sure that the person who made the poster was only out on using the weapon himself. Herself in this occasion. "Hey! Wait a second! You're just wandering off with that sword? No thank you?!" "What are you going to do with it?"

Lumin jumped as the woman started to walk off with the sword. Then he jumped up onto the fountain and over the woman, turning around and holding his arms up to prevent her from going any farther. "Wait a sec!" He yelled, not moving an inch as he blocked the path in front of her. No doubt he would move to match her movements- seemingly not caring that she was holding the big, powerful blade and could've struck him down at any moment.

"We all worked hard to get all the pieces and you're just going to walk off with it?? No way!"

She winced a little as the blade reformed to its former glory, power seeming to pulse from it. She had a really bad feeling about this. Sure it was absolutely beautiful, there was no denying that. But she'd been holding that awful blade and she was quite aware that beautiful also meant very deadly.

So she was a little startled when an elegant looking woman simply plucked it out of the air and started walking off with it after a rather insincere thank you. She couldn't care less about the reward or thanks, but she did want to know what the feline wanted to use it for. Someone had already shouted that question at her. She was unsure how wise it was to block the feline's path, especialy concidering she was holding that sword.

Despite the fact she knew it was a bad idea, she still moved to stand beside Lumin, her fur frizzing out a little and a determined look on her normally timid and soft features. "I...I can't let you w-walk off like that e-either.. I don't c-care for the blade or a r-reward... b-but that thing is dangerous!"she practically hugged herself, her stance uncertain, but she wasn't wavering from her spot."What are you going to do with it..".

When the handle flew out of her grasp despite her hold she realized that it wasnt attempting to get away before and wondered what it was capable of now since it was back together. She was instantly filled with anger when the lady took the blade.  Yeah right she couldnt get the pieces on her own, that wasnt the funnest task she'd done, but it sure was easy.  Such a lazy person didnt deserve the thing.

She didnt hesitate to stand in front of the girl with the other two.  Theyd covered most of the talking already, so she just raised her nose and stood confidently.  Willakova held her rabbit by the ears at her side with her feet spread out shoulder width, no way the cat would just give the sword up at this point

Soo Ernest was JUST ABOUT to snatch the handle from the rabbit's hands so he could take a closer look, when the handle came to life and flew out of rabbit's hands by itself.
Oh. Well. Okay then.
  The wolf stared at the pieces of sword unite, rather dumbfounded. And even more dumbfounded when the feline girl appeared to take the.. now floating, united sword!
  And then she started to leave.
  He expected.. well if not some kind of reward, then at least a speech or something, but, um. Okay? I mean, saving the world was serious business. Maybe she just thought she shouldn't waste any time or anything.
  Er looked after the feline, hiding his hands in his pockets and swaying back and forth on his feet, actually ready to leave. ..Well except other people weren't. Like this.. really shaky leopard or that white hedgehog. Looking around, over the rest of people that were gathered around the fountain, the wolf sloowly began to walk closer to Lumin, meanwhile taking the metal handle thing out of his pocket. He shook it a bit, so the lock inside it would let go and the actual.. blade would form again. Of course with the laser orb floating in the middle, again. Yeah!
  Then he stood beside Lumin and leaned over his shoulder, asking quietly: "..Do I.. threaten her with my sword or something? Because you guys look kind of unarmed to me. THat's not a good thing."
A pause.
  "..Why are we stopping her exactly?" The wolf looked at the hedgehog with an arched brow.

Midknight stands by Ernest, looking at the power radiating sword being taken away by the galaxy cat. His face showed much confusion. So..the sword was back together? The weapon. What was the cat lady going to do with it? Who knew. Everyone else was thinking the same thing. She seemed keen to hold on to it.

The blue lizard sits and waits, unsure what to do. Damn this was awkward.

Tyson kept his eyes focused on the twitching pieces of the sword parts, while Echo stood back with Zetski, who seemed a bit too eager for this. When the parts had united themselves into the final product, Zetski flinched, but walked a bit towards the blade, tempted to hold it. "Zetski, stay back." Tyson warned.

Reluctantly, he stood back, away from the sword, and good thing too. The galaxy feline took the sword, and didn't even give a thank you! 'Well that was rude...' Tyson thought to himself, wise enough not to say it aloud. On the other hand, Zetski didn't like "unfairness". Though the others who went to stop the feline stole the words out of his mouth, he stood a little ways behind Lumin to aid him in stopping this feline. "And how are we sure we can trust you with it?"

"Zetski, get back! You're going to get hurt..." Echo called.

"I did say thank you!" The feline woman stated with a smirk circled on her lips. Said smirk however slowly but surely faded as the first person stood before her joined by another and another and another and finally, another one. The expression on the feline clearly being one of a looot of agitation at this point. She was not a happy kitty.

Fine, they wanted her to monologue, she would gladly give them that much since they so clearly wanted it. Or at least a more clear explanation than her just grabbing the weapon and walking of with it.

With a hard thrust she jabbed the sword into the ground before dainty using it as support to lean on, watching the group, her tail swaying ever so lightly before she started speaking. "I am very grateful that you all collected the pieces for me. I have been completely unable to even get close. Those three really did do a good job on making sure magics and the lot repelled me from getting close enough to that fountain." She explained as her words were spoken in almost a purr.

Her pitch black eyes observing the group before her as she continued. "It's not my fault that they stole my sword and broke it into pieces~" Her slight smile returning now, though agitation still clear in her eyes as the galaxy feline straightened out to pull the shining sword free from the ground. "So to answer your questions, I am going to take my blade and do what the three kept me from doing." Well that was cryptic if anything.

"And those so desperate for reward." She began as she slashed the ground in front of her feet, the trail living a white light with pastel hues of the rainbow in it. "I'm letting you life another day."

And with those final words she hopped into that glow the slash had left behind. The glow fading into just dirt behind her. Whoops this might come back to bite them in the ass later at some later date.

"They?" Lumin asked, staring at the spot the slashy portal was once in. "What does she mean by they??" He looked rather confused, and frustrated on top of that. Holding his head, he let out a noise of frustration, closing his eyes while doing so but quickly opening them. "Well fine! If she wants to be that way then whatever!" 

He still seemed incredibly bothered by it- but summoned his knives soon afterward. "I don't even need a sword anyway. It's probably nothing!" Though blowing it off as nothing didn't seem like a good idea, it was pretty much like him to do so. Getting fired up, he started to run out of the park- to who knows where- but turned back a moment later. So as not to be rude, he waved to the group he spent his time searching for the handle guard with- and then started running, still waving as he ran until he got a ways away. 

Running as fast as he could to his next objective- He couldn't stick around here, it was clear nothing else would happen, not for a while anyway. So things come and go, but surely this wouldn't come again, right?

Right.

Midknight grips his hair in a stress filled panic, tugging slightly. "Gagh! I knew this wouldnt be safe!!" he exclaims, "Should we follow her?! I dont want to just live ONE more day! That's not enough!", he grips Ernest, shaking him violently, "C'mon! Go sword fight her! Don't just stand there!", feeling faint, starts to sway. Welp.


The blue lizard begins to flop to the ground, fainting out of fear.

Angry galaxy kitty?
Magics?
Possible death threat?
Disappearing in rainbows and flashes, with the coolest sword ever at that?
"..Oh. Bye then!" The wolf smiled and waved bye-bye after the cat. Which is, he waved bye-bye at the slash on the ground. And he'd probably stay there, leaning on his own sword, staring at the ground and contemplating whatever the heck just happened if the blue lizard thing didn't start shaking him, almost making Ernest fall over. "Gh- what, no! I mean, okay! But when I next see her, yes?" The wolf grabbed Midknight's arms to stop the goddamn shaking. "No-one's going to diee, we've got a whole lot of sword people in Station Square. ..And around the world. There must be someone who can win with her!"
I mean he wasn't sure if any other swords could rip apart the time and space matter, but let's not think about that yet!
..Let's think about the dragon that was apparently starting to flop. Yes. Ernest's eye twitched slightly and he quickly caught the teenager, picking him up bride-style. "..Um. Lizard. Up."
Yeah great
The wolf glanced around the people. "..Yes, I, just.. you guys have fun figuring out the cosmic sword cat while I go.. try.. to keep him alive, perhaps. Um." With that, the wolf.. hung Midknight over his shoulder (? whatever you know what it looks like shhh), picked up his sword and began to walk off, trying not to fall over from the dragon's weight. Or from the paralysing awkwardness.
