Event Week 4 Empty Event Week 4

Post by Spekkal Fri Apr 24, 2015 4:17 pm

Shrapnel flew from the beast-that-once-was, steel shards exploding outwards from each missile and bullet the harrier unleashed, eradicating what was its body a few minutes before. Each explosion, the rainbow magic splattered like water and its body struggled to stay together. Each explosion, the monster screamed like grating nails. With the addition of the absolute scorching heat and the blasts of darkness, those steel chords were very quickly transforming into grass again that thinned and shrunk to the usual size... if it weren't utterly destroyed from the chaos.

It was unstable, and the limbs were thinning and fading, the wild magic slowly evaporating. Yet it struck the wolf, and it struck the kitsune, and one last act of defiance caused it to throw the jelly-magic towards the harrier - or more specifically the cockpit where the man within resided, in which it splattered on the glass.

The wolf, Amber? Well, what is a name? A life? What is all that when they cannot be remembered? The prismatic limb smashed against her body, yet despite that it still felt... simply tingly, and at that second, her life, to her, was lost. Amnesia.
The kitsune, Twilight? Second in line, but at that moment the magic struck the young boy, there was a brief sensation of warmth. A sensation in both the memoryless wolf and the boy, and in the blink of an eye, they were each other. Not together, not one like Zeco, but rather they had swapped bodies. Leaving the wolf's mind in the body of young Twilight, and Twilight in the body of Amber.
The magic that splattered on the cockpit? It didn't seep through, but plants grew on the underside where the pilot sat, starting to very quickly cover his vision. Roses, daisies, vines, bushes, leaves, it was like a forest was starting to grow from within. It was impossible of course - such fauna growing from glass, but in the light of all this, it wasn't surprising.

Perhaps it was wise for the others to sheer clear from attacking this thing. It may be dying, dying far faster now that it had no foundation to wrap itself around, but what remained - a large writhing blob of magic that was, slowly, implode on itself with a great shudder - was still able to affect if anyone were to draw near within its radius.

((OMG Yessssss best rp ever))

It was bittersweet.

The collision of prismatic force onto her limp body. The tingling. She'd always been one to need repression. To hold back and push down. Her memories, specifically. So full of things that she wished she could forget. And now they were blurring her vision, racing her mind. Spinning, spinning. Old ones, dreaded pasts. New ones... Colorful and warm. In a wink, gone. Like a television, deprived of any power. Engulfing the screen in nothing but darkness. Her mouth began to form an 'O'. Gaping wider while her pupils shrank. Amber let out a breath, and slowly, her eyes closed.

The warmth.

It was like being under sunshine. Twitch. Another twitch. Her eyes opened again- or- wait. Glancing upwards to the colorful sky... Was it always that colorful? Scarlet eyes now glanced about in confusion. Left and right. Everything was in... Chaos? Where was she?! ...She? Amber didn't feel like a girl. No, not at all. She felt... Too masculine and... Lean... What was her name again? ...No really, what is her name? Who was she- he?! There were so many blanks in her mind that it scared her. A certain darkness. A... A power. It began to fill her. But there was also a sense of incompletion that she didn't understand. She didn't understand a lot of things.

The shrieks.

It pierced her ears and she had to cover them both, eyes searching for the source of the sound. Ah, there it was. She screamed too. Quickly, Amber started to get up, only to fall over again because of an access of fabric. She looked down, seeing her clothed drape over her limbs. Shaking and eyes stinging with tears, she folded them up higher on her arms and legs, revealing black fur, small child limbs, and... A dark claw? She stared at the unusual body part with confusion and slight terror. Another ear-piercing shriek and Amber looked back to the dying monster, but while doing so, caught sight of something eye-catchingly pink.

A wolf. Laying limp and weak on the ground. "L- lady!" Her voice was high, definitely that of a child's. She ran to her body's side and began to shake her. Her body. "You have to-" she cut herself short, seeing the blood staining the wolf's clothes. Her eyes grew hotter and hotter, as the dark aura shrouded around without her notice. She wanted to scream, but her throat was frozen shut. Only the monster's shriek snapped her back. Grabbing the wolf's arms, she began pulling. Pulling him away. To safety. To anywhere but here. This wolf was dying! But Amber was not strong enough. Her breath hitched, and she cried, "Help! Someone! Anyone! Please!

She was shaking. So badly. She didn't even know if she could hold herself up.

Event Week 4 Empty Re: Event Week 4

It took a while for everything to settle in. For a moment, the entire world was blasted with color. Stupid, eye straining, rainbow color. Then whiteness, until his vision slowly faded in. It didn't hit him for a while, what had happened didn't hit him. He was confused, angered, and slightly afraid to see what the magic had done to them now.

Then the pain hit him like a ton of bricks.

Not knowing the last time he felt a pain like this, he clutched one of the bullet wounds on the body that really did not belong to him- having yet to realize the body switch fiasco. He sucked air through his teeth, swallowing a pained yell. He removed Amber's... er, his hand from the wound and looked down at it. Blood- Wait, blood? He stared at the red substance almost in awe as it trickled down the bright pink arm. Then he began to realize. Though weak, Twilight moved himself slightly, as best as he could, to take a good look at the body he had been switched into. Then he screamed along with the shrieks, which he immediately moved his one good arm up to cover at least one ear to try and escape the wretched noises.

After taking his hand off of his new, overly sensitive ears, he frantically looked around for his actual body. Then he heard Amber's own cries- in his body. Of course. He flopped over, trying to cover the kids mouth and stop their screaming- God, this was weird. Due to the injuries that plagued Amber's body, besides just the bullet wounds, he failed. For a moment, before speaking to the kid in front of him, he frowned. He almost seemed sad. No, he was sad. What was this full feeling? Besides the physical pain, he felt almost emotionally complete- no, fully emotionally complete. It felt almost good, but sadness sucked. For a second, he laid there on the ground, and nearly turned off his mind. His entire brain was TV static, he couldn't comprehend it.

His body's yells, Amber's yells, snapped him out of that stupor. He looked at his child like body from the outside. Missing the wings it looked rather incomplete. It didn't make him feel very good about the current situation. For a moment, he didn't know what to say. He pieced together Amber's words in his head, realizing something must have been very wrong. "You.. I..." He started, startled at the sound of Amber's voice coming from him. Red flooded his, or her cheeks and for a moment he was out of words completely. Then he slowly continued, barely able to piece sentences together. "Switched.. bodies.." In realizing the statement he uttered, he kind of froze up. This was as awkward as it could get. Really and truly, this was kind of unreal. He wished that this weird magic hell would let up soon.

Boubka arrived high up next to the harrier, but didn't want to get any closer seeing that the jelly had a possibility to hit her. Jeesh. Come to think of it. Boubka turned female and transformed into a tiny fox. What if she stays like this forever? No time to think about that now!

"Ehm. Hello? Are you guys alright?" Boubka saw that there where people inside. Hey wait a second. Wasn't that crocodile next to her before she turned into a fox? There's some weird stuff happening here.

Diablo stumbled aimlessly, not knowing exactly what was going on, he stumbled around the cockpit he had been transported to. "Confounded beast! Stop!!" He said, noticing the rainbow continuing to spread, he tried his best to run more, but he just wobbled, grabbing onto any near by objects he could.

Zeco immediately backed up, watching the colorful yet terrifying limbs of the rainbow monster flail around, not wanting to get any closer anymore. He looked around... the radius of magic seemed to be a bit smaller than before. Maybe it's fading, extremely slowly. He wanted to wait it out, and not get covered in rainbow magic again. He already saw what happened, and would rather not be morphed again.

But he still wanted to help the kitsune and the wolf, being that one of them was badly injured... or was it best to wait it out?

Event Week 4 Empty Re: Event Week 4

Post by Spekkal Fri May 08, 2015 7:50 pm

((Sorry for the wait, folks! And thanks for being patient!))

There was a brief moment of silence. And in this moment, the air was still, and naught but the cries of the others was to be heard. There was no shrieks, no cries, not screams or screeches from the once-lumbering rainbow monstrosity that slowly shrank into itself, no. Rather, it coiled and coiled into a small wriggling orb no smaller than an average-sized fist.

And then? It exploded.

A shockwave of magical energy that was unleashed in a glittering, sparkling mess. There was a resounding BOOM that echoed through the park, throwing all those near it far back. The harrier was forced more so into the air than it already was and probably caused a bit of damage to the more fragile areas of the vehicle's exterior. Trees arched backwards and snapped, collapsing down with varying degrees of thuds, and grass blades were uprooted from the ground and flew back like some sort of green hurricane. There was the distinctive sound of almost... electrical sparks in the air, very faint, but it was in fact sounds of leftover wild magic that was fizzling away.

The rainbow grasp on the park was beginning to fade, and, ever so slowly at a gradual pace, so were the effects upon those involved. Unlike the changes when the magic struck, this was more subtle. It wasn't a sudden pop, a sudden snap of the body to reform, no. Rather, what rainbow taint that had infected them began to drip out of the body from the skin, and it certainly took its sweet time doing so, but would indeed restore everything to normal. It was just a matter of waiting it out.

But one had to wonder... if this entire fiasco was caused by a simple slash in the round caused by the sword, what was the wielder of the weapon actually capable of?

Diablo's weak frame caused him to tumble around inside the harrier "Get me off this crazy thing!!" He shrieks over, and over, desperatly grasping for near by objects to keep him on his feet.

In the wake of the trembling and ear-bursting explosion, he began to notice dripping, the floor being covered in the rainbow gloop that had consumed their identities, Diablo's black furry face was soon restored, much to his joy as he hugged himself, basking within his own glory....he'd probably be there for a while...

Let him have his moment..

Panic is a terrible thing. And it only escalated when Twilight, in her body, cupped her mouth to muffled her screams. She swore that she would've bitten into it if they hadn't opened their mouth to speak. Her eyes were now glued to the wolf's amber ones. Unknowingly staring down her own body from the outside. It was a curious thing they uttered, and none of it made sense. Not to her, at the very least. However, Amber opened her mouth, and remembered that she is being muffled. So she took the larger hand in both of her's, to move it away, and in a frail voice she spoke,

"Switched bodies?"

It was as if the entire world had been astounded with her voice, because time seemed to stop. Seconds past, and silence sank its fangs into the emptiness surrounding them. And then, all hell broke loose.

An ear-shattering 'BOOM' exploded from the monstrosity before them. It made her- well, Twilight's ears ring mercilessly, she hardly saw the massive shockwave coming. Wind blew onto her current body's small form viciously, but she held on to the wolf. To her body. Her lips pulled back into a cringe, feeling herself being lifted off the ground by the force of the explosion. Yet she held on. She kept holding on.

"What-"

Amber suddenly felt herself grow faint. It was as if someone had placed a black piece of plastic in front of her and she couldn't see. Her limbs already felt like jelly, but now it is liquid. Her head throbbed, and in a matter of seconds, it switched off. Amber didn't know what happened, or what would happen next. She was scared, and confused above all. It was like being trapped in a void. Until the ringing came back and a single line pierced across the darkness.

She blinked.

Ah, were they her eyelids? Another blink. The ringing is so overwhelming that she let out a groan, but no sound resonated in her. It's like the world had been muted, save for the irritable ringing. She moved her body, it felt... It felt... She couldn't feel anything. She gasped, or at least, she thinks she did, and her memories came flooding in like a tsunami. It is almost overwhelming. Overwhelmingly sad. Amber let out a choking sound that is supposed to be another gasp. Or perhaps a sob. Her vision was terribly blurred, but she didn't dare move.

Drip, drop...

Magic raindrops fell from the confused Kitsune, or rather, still wolf at this point...
It wasn't long until the entire world became much bigger than him, with one blink, he was back in the body that was supposed to be his. Oh yes, the tiny, tiny child body of his. But the magic was still dripping out of them. He closed his eyes and held his head, suddenly everything started to get a little smaller. His body stretched, his arms refit into the coat sleeves that were once too big for his child-like body. His legs grew to fit back into his pants, and his shoes. Two other tails seemed to just sprout out of him beside the one tail that would otherwise indicate he were a child.

When he was back to normal, he opened his eyes and looked at himself. Well, that was one problem solved. But before anything could go completely back to normal, the magic drops continued to drain from his body. Where were his wings, damn it?! His wings!!

As he was in a slight panic from the lack of wings, the drops continued their way off of everyone's body and suddenly his wings formed back into place, forming from darkness, hardening, but it would take a while for him to be able to fly normally again. He reached a hand back and stroked the delicate shadowy wing. He let out a sigh of relief. They were finally back in place, everything was back to normal, he was content.

Or rather, he was content for a few seconds until he fixated his gaze on Amber- who was still on the ground. "Oh no-" He gasped, then whispered, slightly cutting himself off. He stared for a few seconds. Quite a few mobians seemed to be battered from the event and he, himself, was not walking away completely unscathed. He ran closer, but due to having already been rather close to her, his run was rather just a single bound. He nearly fell forward with how quickly he descended. He knelt down next to Amber, putting an arm under her head so that it was at least propped up. He scanned her body, observing the wounds. He seemed totally stumped on what to do, but seemed to want to take her away... to somewhere safer. He didn't say anything though, he simply looked her in the eyes with the most genuine look of concern he could muster.

Her body feels like... Well, feeling would be too much of an exaggeration. She was back in her own body, but she honestly wasn't glad to be. The wolf struggled to take deep breaths, but there was a weight on her chest, restraining her from taking full inhales. The ringing did not cease, but her vision slowly settled.

The first thing she saw, was red.

Red eyes, to be exact. Very familiar in appearance. Twilight. Suddenly, her head is inclined at a better angle, and her chest is lighter. Breathing is easier and she is infinitely relieved. She kept her eyes on his, but she could see from her peripheral vision that her fur is back to its autumn coloring. If only her wounds reversed too... However, she was glad Twilight hadn't spoken, because she wouldn't have been able to hear him.

The concern in his eyes... It was unnerving. She just wanted them to go away. Weakly, she opened her mouth, but she can only assume any sound came out. "I'm... Fine..." She tugged her lips into a smile, just to assure him of this. Amber pulled her hand up to touch one of her wounds and spoke again, "...Ste...ri...lized..."

When the explosion happened, Boubka grabbed onto the harrier. the glass broke a bit but she could still hold on. She saw her paws turning into hands again. "Wha-!" Boubka returned to his anthropomorphic state again. When the explosion stopped. She, because she still had a female body, Cut open the glass with the chaos energy that was almost bulging in her vines. Her adrenaline pile was so high at the moment, that she created a lot of chaos energy. "I don't care if this harrier gets damaged. Your safety is way more important. Now. You can get out by yourself right? I gotta go help another person."

She jumped down the vines to the lower ground. "Amber...." She glanced at Twilight. "Is she alright? Don't we need to bring her to the hospital?" Then he stared at Amber. This has been no good for any of them. Then Boubka realized she had a also gotten a few wounds. Her hoodie was partly ripped and some fur on her arms was blood red. But she could handle it. She barely felt pain. "We should better get her to the hospital. Yes..." Her voice slowly became lower and she slowly turned back into a he. But he didn't bother at the moment.
