Rahvenholm Investigation. Empty Rahvenholm Investigation.

It was dark... cold... not a single sound emanated from the expansive estate that once thrived with activity now lay ever so silent with a deep depressing fog that never seemed to go away.
Its tattered halls and abandoned corridors seemed to drip with an unending darkness that never stop, almost as if something was possessing the old place.

It had been 15 years. 15 long years since the unexplained tragedy that left no survivors. No cameras, no pictures, no evidence pointing to anyone who killed the Rahvenholm family and everyone there. Nothing but drowned bodies that made no sense and cut and stab wounds with no murder weapon. The case had been closed for years.

A rumor floated around about the place being haunted by a ghost and anyone who dared go there never returned, a fact as many people tried going there and never came back.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A male grey wolf ran down the hallway, his clothes torn and several wounds showed through. His outfit had a G.U.N special research and investigation logo on it.
"Gotta get outta here... " his face was one of someone who had just witnessed something horrific, fear and terrifying, "S-sam! Chris! We gotta get out of here, something is wrong with lura-" he came to a dead stop as he entered a large room with a grand piano, he body began to shake as he stood mortified at what he saw.
Both comrades were on the floor, their faces frozen in pure terror as blood dripped from the open cut wounds on there bodies. Both were laying in pools of water.
"Aw..." a voice sounded behind the wolf, "They broke too soon. I wanted to have some more fun..."
He turned to see a brown furred fox behind him dressed in similar attire to the others. She was carrying a wet knife, a bit of blood could be seen splattered across her as she approached him.
"Hello new toy," she cooed as she walked ever closer to him, "Lets have some fun, tell me you won't break like the others," her eyes glowed a crimson red as a heart shaped diamond necklace dangled around her neck.
"L-lura... it's me... Michael... you remember right? Please... stop this.." his voice was panicky as he backed away, trying to find and escape route.
She giggled, her eyes locked onto his, "I'm afraid "Lura" can't come out now... but don't worry... she can hear and see everything...." the fox continued to walk forwards backing the wolf farther into the room until she was standing in the pools of water, a crack of thunder could be heard in the distance as a flash of lightning lite the room for a split second. For a moment as the light bathed the area the thought he saw a young white fox in Lura's place, its eyes glowed ever so menacingly.
"Ssshhh... I'll take good care of you..." the water around her rippled, "I'm  just gonna have some... FUN!" Her voice rose as the water around burst upwards and created long tendrils of water. The wolf barely had time to register what was going on before she let a laugh and jumped at him, slashing with her knife as the water formed into blades themselves and shot towards him.
There was a scream, then it was cut off and silence fell.
"Hmmm... they were fun to play with..." she said as she walk down the hall moments later, the knife she was carrying dripped with water, "I can't wait to find more toys... hmmm... this body is just isn't right... " she said as she turned to look into a full length mirror.
The fox in the mirror wasn't the same as it showed her with tears in her eyes and a horrified look on her face. Standing just beside her was the much younger white fox in a white dress, her face wore an insane smile.
"Don't worry... I'll play nice with your body... wouldn't want to break you too soon...." she laughed again as the thunder cracked, starting to rain and pour down on the estate. The gloom thickening.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

It had been two days since the disappearance of the G.U.N team. Rumors spread about the curse the place had and what G.U.N would do about their missing team.

The place stood even more menacing on top of the mountain. inviting anyone who dared to try and find its secrets.

Rahvenholm Investigation. Empty Re: Rahvenholm Investigation.

Post by Mr. Spivey Sat Mar 03, 2018 6:52 am

Ever since he was struck by the jewel from space, the wolf had come across more and more strange occurrences in his world. Things he’d once thought impossible would suddenly sprout up in his daily life. Odd stories would now carry more weight to them, and fairy tales now needing to be taken at face value, lest he too fall victim to their jinxes.

This mansion business was no different. Zed was not keen on investigating something just because it was strange, there was strangeness everywhere. What brought Zed to the mountain on this day was a recent story that had fallen into the lap of the Kanyon Korps regarding GUN, the worldwide military outfit, sending a squad to investigate losing of contact soon afterwards. The story made Zed’s hairs stand straight up. People didn’t inform the Kanyon Korps about cats getting stuck in trees or hordes of mad robots enslaving kingdoms. They dug in the unusual, the unexplainable, and the unnerving. It was clear to him that otherworldly machinations were at play, and people’s lives were in danger, as had been the truth for anyone who stepped through the mansion doors.

But what was even clearer to Zed was the presence of an evil spirit, no doubt cursing the establishment and unable to find peace. While the only experiences he could use as comparison came from comic books, Zed was prepared to believe that there was some truth in those colorful pages. Unfortunate ghosts lashing out on innocent people, making them atone for the injustices that may have led to their demise, only wanting to find peace and move on to the afterlife. Zed’s compassion helped him understand that this was a frightened soul who just needed help. Lucky for them, Isaac Hawkins was in the business of helping people. And business was about to pickup.

Finally, the mansion was in sight. Taking a deep breath, the wolf took a wide stance and threw his arms straight out to his sides, making a five point star with his feet, hands, and head. “Star Power!” He called, thrusting his right hand to the sky. A small, green glimmer appeared in his open hand. Zed brought the light to his face and it quickly covered his entire body like a blanket. A moment later, the green light vanished, Zed’s casual ‘civilian’ outfit had been completely shed. Now dawning the green spandex and the star-shaped visor helmet of his Green Star persona, and striking the heroic 'hands on hips' pose, Isaac Hawkins was ready to engage the threat and save the day!

Then why wasn't he moving? The mansion was right in front of him, and he was as prepared as he could possibly be in the situation. The transformation went off without a hitch, and there didn’t appear to be a physical wall surrounding him. “What could possibly be stopping me? Is it a spell? Am I under attack? Who could it be?” Zed stoically asked himself, before looking down at his shaking knees and jittery hands, immediately dropping the stoic act.

It was another odd situation to have gotten himself into... but that seemed to be par for the course.

This was the thought that the silver furred wolf, who simply went by Wolf, had go through his head once he laid eyes on the mansion and what he could see of the surrounding estate from his vantage point near the front gate. He then wondered who would build such a place in a remote and difficult to access area. I certainly seemed like it would be a good place to get away from others being up on a mountain, but then why make it so big that you could easily hold dozens of people at one time? Wolf shook the thought off for the time being.

It was a pretty cold and lonely looking place from what he could see as well. It sort of suited the mood of many of the other travelers who had come with him. Well... it was more appropriate to say that he was coming with them. This was an operation being run by G.U.N., whoever they were. Wolf was merely a civilian volunteer who had agreed to go along when they were looking for additional people to accompany them on this venture.

There weren't many volunteers from the nearest local residents. This place apparently had a reputation that scared most of them well away from it. Wolf wasn't sure what to think of the stories he'd been told about this place since he joined the group, but it hadn't been enough to scare him off. Concerned and wary, but not scared... yet at least.

But, back to the mood of the rest of the team. There hadn't been much idle conversation on the way up here. Many of the people going had seemed grim about what they were getting involved in. It was understandable though. To Wolf's understanding, there had been several people here as recently as two days ago, but no one had been able to get in touch with them.

So perhaps the mood of the G.U.N. people was a result of that information. Wolf could hardly blame them.

Now, Wolf stood out in front of the main gates leading into the estate. He glanced over at one other member of this group, another wolf who introduced himself as Zed earlier on. He seemed rather composed as he took in the sight of the mansion as well.

The Zed shifted his stance, called out "Star Power!" and proceeded to transform before the others there, resulting in him emerging in a green body suit of some sort with a helmet. Wolf raised an eyebrow at Zed, curious about such a display and wondering what purpose it would serve at the moment as they weren't really doing anything.

Then Wolf saw that Zed was shaking a bit there and he thought he understood. Seemed that everyone was anxious.

Glancing down at himself, Wolf thought about how he seemed to be the only one there not wearing any sort of protective gear. He was there in rather plain brown pants and dark blue heavy jacket to deal with the cold. He carried a small duffel bag slung over one shoulder, with the strap running diagonally across his torso, and he also carried a pair of short swords, resting in sheathes crisscrossing his lower back. He had no idea what use his own belongings might serve, but he preferred to have things he was comfortable with close by... just in case.

With that, Wolf returns his attention to the rest of the G.U.N. team. While he might be helping them out for the duration of this outing, he certainly wasn't going to be the one to lead this group into whatever was waiting for them.

As the two mobians were getting ready the G.U.N team of 4 had already finished packng up what they needed. They then approached the gate and the team leader turned to everyone, pulling up a data file on his personal CPU on his arm,

"Alright listen up. This is an extraction operation, we move silently and quickly. maintain contact with your fellow squad mates, we are after the missing Special research and investigation squad," he then motioned to the two mobians, "Y'all are here as extra help, keep your eyes out for anything and stay close alright?"

After finishing up his quick debriefing, he motioned to his team and they began their trip to the group of buildings. Splitting up into groups of two, heading off to the mansion and staff housing.

Zed brought his hand to his forehead in a salute. It helped calm his nerves knowing that he wasn’t by himself, but it only replaced those worries with the thought that other people would be in danger. Alone, he’d only have himself to worry about. Hopefully his little transformation sequence would’ve been enough to strike inspiration and hope into his companion’s hearts. Like a star in the night.

He turned to the other wolf in the pack, noting that he didn’t seem too worried. He noted the swords, and came to the conclusion that Wolf, as he had called himself, wasn’t suspecting a ghost to be responsible? Zed hadn’t even considered that possibility.

Zed would have to share his ideas later, it was time to split up. Choosing to follow the group entering the Staff Housing, the green wolf opted to gather information rather than blindly walk into the mansion. He wouldn’t be much help to whatever was haunting the place if he didn’t know anything about it. Did it speak English? Did it have something against Mobians? Hopefully the previous staff would have some notes to help solve the mystery.

Wolf looks towards the team leader as they lay out the objectives for the team and what was expected of the two wolves. Wolf nods in response after seeing Zed salute.

Once the group began moving in, Wolf falls into step behind them. He looks at the surroundings as they make their way through the front gates and onto the property itself. He takes a few moments to adjust his jacket and pull it closer to himself while they walk.

He lets out a breath slowly as considers the situation and what little they know. People had disappeared here. It wasn't the first time it had happened apparently. This place had been deserted otherwise as far as anyone had known. The entire place was believed to be haunted.

Wolf wasn't sure what he believed about this situation. It could be something supernatural, but it could also be something far simpler than that as well.

Looking at the rest of the team as they began splitting into two groups, Wolf wonders what the rest of them must think about this. If this was something really dangerous, would only six people be sent in to deal with it? Or is it just that this was all that could be put together on short notice because there was some sort of rush?

With that, the teams looked like they were getting ready to part ways. Zed had already joined one pairing, so Wolf decided to go with the other.

He hoped this wasn't going to be a mistake.

As the respective teams left for their locations a shadowy figure watched from the top floor master bedroom window several floors up, its shape barely distinguishable in the gloomy light that shrouded the grounds.

"Ooooo... new toys to play with.... I better go greet our new guests..." the figure tapped their chin in thought, "But I don't wanna give myself away just yet... hehehehee..."

With that the figure vanished from the window, the house standing ever so gloomy. Soon the team reached the doorstep and, after checking it and clearing the surroundings, proceed to the the decrepit building.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
As Team 1 entered the mansion, Team 2 had arrived at the staff housing gate. The gate still had a chain and lock on it. Probably left behind by a someone who wanted to lock up the grounds. After a quick check, they broke the lock off and entered the staff housing area.
It was much like a small suburbs district with its many apartment like copy and paste homes that lined the small road that weaved in and out of them.
Team two quickly scanned the area for life and proceed with caution, entering the first house on the left to search first.
Zed quietly sat back as the team did their scanning, instead wondering just how many people worked at the mansion. Sure it was huge, but how many employees does one need to hire before it becomes too many?
As the team moved forward, Zed drew his blaster partially and turned the dial on its side. The gun expanded slightly, exposing some bright green circuitry. But he was quick to holster it again. He didn’t feel right, keeping things hidden from these people, but it was a necessity if they wanted to keep a one up on the ghost. It if found out about his abilities, then things would go south at an alarming rate.
As they approached the first door, Zed placed his hand over his blaster. If something popped out, Zed only hoped that his hand would be quick enough to shoot an invincibility shot to the comrade closest to the door.
Wolf followed the two G.U.N. agents over to the front door of the mansion itself. He waited for them to check the main foyer, only following them inside once they said it was clear. He closed the door behind him and then began to look around as well, letting the two agents do their job.
It was dark and somehow felt even colder in here than it had outside. Wolf looked around as best he could making out shapes in the dark room and waiting to see if the agents would use their own lights or maybe would be able to activate the house lights somehow.
As it seemed that there was no immediate danger here, Wolf closed his eyes, relaxed and focused his own energy on the room around them. He could feel... something. It wasn't very specific though. He couldn't follow it back to any source as his perceptive abilities weren't refined enough.
Instead, it was like he stood within a cloud of dark energy. It wasn't dangerous on its own like this, but it was definitely a sign that something was here. Either hiding from them or lying in wait.
He opened his eyes again, hoping that if whatever was here did approach them, that he'd realize it soon enough to perhaps do something about it.
Team 2 continued as normal through each of the houses checking papers and such as they went. Unfortunately they only found stuff that had been untouched for years, the dust coating everything in sire like a cold, sad blanket.
Fortunately there were a lot of leftover records and diaries everywhere. One of the G.U.N agents picked up one and flipped it open to the latter entries, reading it alound the old blurred and damaged texted.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"June *4, 19**"
It happened again.
The young miss A*ya*na messed up several more lessons today. She was punished as usual, even put through those horrible treatments again just to add to the torture and pain. I would speak out but everyone here knows not to cross the Rahvenholms.

I just hope it's not to late for her.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Each house was the same with notes and various other detailing their everyday lives. But they all seemed to back to the "Young miss" with some thinking the way she was treated was wrong or others encouraging the treatment.
Soon the team reached the final building, the head office for every bit of information about what happened on the grounds from events, schedules, shipments, everything. After clearing the area they entered.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Back in the mansion team 2 had reached the main foyer with two large staircases on each side leading up. As they went forward there was a flash of lightning and a crack of thunder, suddenly there was light wind that seemed to come from nowhere. It seemed to cut right through the group with chill that was unearthly. The lights around the place flickered to life, giving the house an eerie glow.

Now on high alert the team mved ever so carefully foward towards the main ballroom.

Rahvenholm Investigation. Empty Re: Rahvenholm Investigation.

Post by Mr. Spivey Sat Mar 10, 2018 9:13 pm

Zed sighed with relief when nothing flew out of the house to attack. Holstering his weapon, he snuck into the house with the remainder of the team, inspecting the place. The wolf made sure to keep an eye on the areas the G.U.N. team were overlooking; cracks in the floorboards, mirrors out of the corner of his eye, and the small areas behind furniture. Places where creepy creatures usually hid when living people were present. Very well read on the subject of ghosts, Zed was looking to teach these military agents a thing or two about the supernatural.

He reunited with the group as they started to read out of the diaries, and as each passage hit his ears, the weight of the scenario began to settle in more and more. He looked to the G.U.N. agents and the way they were dressed, and how they handled the situation. Dressed professionally, looking for clues, and using logic to try to figure out who used to live here, and their relationship with the Mansion owner.

And here Zed came, dressed in a colorful spandex suit, thinking about ghosts and monsters hiding behind couches. The realization made him feel really hot all of a sudden, and put a stop to his bizarre suspicions. Rubbing the back of his head, Zed meekly followed the others without straying again. This wasn’t a comic book, this was an unfortunate calamity that was somehow killing people for the last 15 years. A bright green light enveloped him, and when it dissipated, Zed was out of his Green Star uniform and back in his civilian clothes. The last thing anyone needed was him making light of the situation.

As each diary filled in more and more of the backstory, Zed got to thinking just who these Ravenholms were. The haunting was all that had gotten Zed interested, he had no real idea as to who used to live in that mansion. Seeing the way they allowed someone to be treated on their property, possibly their pet, or even worse their daughter, just made his stomach turn.

As they approached the head office, Zed could only hope that there was a logical explanation to all of this. Hopefully, the ‘Young Miss’ in the diary entries was not involved in the mysterious deaths. Zed hoped deep down that they’d enter the Head Office and find notes of some escaped convict squatting in the home, or a family of wild beasts taking over the place. The idea of a young girl getting revenge on a family that treated her poorly would break his heart.

A flash of lightning.
The crack of thunder.
A sudden breeze.
Then the lights came on unexpectedly.

Wolf arches one eyebrow as his initial response. He quickly follows with an audible reply.

"Well... that's not unnerving at all."

He glances at the two G.U.N. agents.

"I think that's as good a sign as any that someone else is here." he says, "Lights don't just turn on by themselves."

He looks around the main foyer as the agents start walking towards a doorway leading into the ballroom.

"Sirs... perhaps it might be better to go and bring the others here first rather than wander further in on our own." he suggests.

Team one stopped, considering the the thought on the situation. But before they could give an answer there was a scream of a woman down hallway in the ballroom. One of them immediately called in via their comms and alerted the other team and quickly moved down the hallway.

As they entered hey were greeted by a Brown furred fox who was running down the hall. Her face had a horrified look on it as she ran into one of the agents.

"Please help... it got the others a-and it... it.." her voice was cracking as she buried her head into the chest of one of them, sobbing uncontrollably. Quickly taking hold of her he began trying to calm her down as his teammate soted down the hallway and stood ready.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Moments earlier....
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Team 2 entered the building, immediately the smell of closed up water damage and the smell of what seemed like something died. Ignoring the horrible smell they quickly began to searching.

After several minutes of searching they finally found something. It was an info pad that was standard for investigation teams to carry and record information and video/sound clips. They played it back,

:Automated Record of~ Michael Almanac/003267/sndclp:
"For anyone that finds this, do not- I repeat- DO NOT trust agent Lura caster. Something from that necklace we found did something to her," the voice was quick and panicky, "Two members have died already and whatever it is it has the power to control water as well as take possession of people," there was more gasping as it was apparent he was suffering from wounds as he let small grunts of pain as he talked, "I'm gonna meet up with the other in the house and hopefully we can find a way outta this mess."

The audio log shut off as it finished playing. Before they could began to ask.questions their comms suddenly sparked to life as they were notified that team 1 had found a missing investigation team member. Immediately they set out towards the house to provide backup as they were informed that there may be hostiles in the mansion.

The recording brought a burning rage in Zed’s stomach. Maybe the little girl was innocent, but that didn’t make what this water person was doing even remotely acceptable. If what the man on the other end said was true, then maybe this Lura Caster had gotten to this office too, looking at the water damage around the place. Perhaps she was even here right now…

As the comms lit up, the group made their leave, the green wolf feeling relieved to be getting out of this building. But soon that feeling changed to worry, as they now had to return to the creepy mansion. As he followed along, Zed wondered what his chances might be if he and the water person came to blows one on one. Hopefully, with the G.U.N agents around, he would never have to find out.

Wolf had been trailing behind the two agents he was with, and he reacted just a bit more slowly to the scream. As a result he was still a little way behind them, when the brown furred fox ran over to one of them and effectively latched on.

He listened to her crying and talking as he looked down the hallway from where she'd arrived. He didn't hear anything else coming... so what could have been running from?

As they waited for team two too arrive the agents began getting information from grey fox. Eventually they got that she was from the research team and that she had been trapped in the house since the others disappeared.
As she continued talking she given medical attention for her wounds, oddly she had many cut wounds that were freash and almost seemed... self inflicted. She continued to talk about how they had arrived and not to long after this ghostly white fox appeared and killed two of the teammates, then proceeded to chase and kill the other 3 and left her in the mansion trapped. She had been stuck in the attic of the place since then.

As she talked something glinted inside her shirt.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Team two was arriving at the house, carrying the personal info pad they found. So far they gathered one of the family members of the Rahvenholms had something to do with the tragedy that happened years ago. Hopefully with the investigation team member the others found would help.shed some light on what was going on.
Zed stayed behind the group a few feet, keeping an eye on the rear. He had no problem letting them enter the mansion first. The other group entered earlier and were fine. No need for an invincibility shot.
But that wasn’t the only reason. Word got out that it was a family member responsible for the string of attacks, and that just took the wind out of Zed’s sails. The idea that someone in this family would go that far was infuriating. The wolf was looking forward to getting the dirtbag behind these murders, and making them pay.
Wolf listens intently to the story being relayed by the fox to the rest of the team. Something about it seemed... off. After she's done speaking, Wolf remains quite for a short time, seemingly thinking all the details over.
"So... how did you get away from this... ghost? You've been here for at least a day alone." he finally asks, then after a few more moments of consideration he adds. "Why would it leave you there? Did you have some way to keep it out?" Another pause follows. "And then how did you get here from the attic without running into it?"
Rahvenholm Investigation. Empty Re: Rahvenholm Investigation.
"I-I don't know... maybe it was toying with me... maybe it got bored..." she held onto herself tightly as stared off into space, "M-maybe its here right now..." the foxed shivered as she spoke.
"Well, we need your name and position on the investigation team to clarify several things," one of the agents said to her as he began running her vitals through a small first-aid pad and med-kit.
"O-of course," she answered as he began running over her stuff, "It's Lura. Lura caster."
As he looked her over he suddenly stopped as he stared at her readings, "Somethings up... your readings are for someone entirely different..."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Team two had now entered the mansion and were walking up to the others. See the grey fox they had with them. As they walked up they heard her give her name.

The team carefully opened the door and entered. Zed followed and entered last, making sure to shut the door behind them. This monster wasn't going to escape on his watch.

Zed kept his ears opened, and walked lightly behind his group. He could hear someone speaking up ahead, and was just barely making out the words.

He froze in place when he heard a name. There was no doubt in his mind, someone ahead of the group just said their name was... Lura Caster. The rest of the team seemed to hear it too, and they all charged towards the sound of her voice.

"Get down!" One of the G.U.N. agents shouted.

"Get away from her!" Said another.

"Star Power!" Cried Zed, holding a hand to the air as he sprinted to the front of the group.

Wolf watches as the two agents check over the fox. He considers her answers to his questions, and while they were completely reasonable ones, they just didn't seem... right to him for some reason. He isn't given much time to consider them beyond that, as there were sudden shouts from the foyer.

Wolf looks in that direction to see the other team rushing towards them, shouting out warnings. Momentarily confused about what they were talking about, Wolf instead turns to look back towards the fox and the agents he was with, instead of doing what he had been told.

Lura immediately huddled against the agent looking her over as the other team burst in. Show a look of fear and sudden surprise at the newcomers. Immediately the other agents looked over too the others and demanded an explanation for the outburst.
The other two began sharing the data and the recording. Also bringing various othe evidence they gathered from the data pad.

As this went on there was a sudden glint of red in the Fox's eye's. Ever so brief and fleeting, but there.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~N-no... please... don't hurt them... please get out...~
Deep in what seemed an endless abyss sat the grey fox. Covered in slashs and cuts as water seemed to create ropes and restrain her.
~Tsk tsk... You don't understand... your mine. And soon I'll Have some fun with one of them...
The ehite fox appeared next the other, twiddle a knife in her hands as she walked are the bound up victim. Her footsteps sending out ripples like water across the dark landscape.
~Now, be a good little toy and let me have my fun...~
With that the grey let out a pained yelled just before she was swallowed by the darkness. Her form completely disappearing.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

A glint of a necklace was seen In her shirt as a there was another crack of thunder. Within moments the patter of rain was soon heard, which soon turned into a downpour. Another cold chill enveloped the group as a chuckle could be heard. Soon turning in loud laughter.

It was Lura.

Before he could react, the agent holding her was sent flying as she grabbed him and threw him at the others with unearthly strength. He eyes glowed a crimson red as a wild grin covered her face.

Rahvenholm Investigation. Empty Re: Rahvenholm Investigation.

Zed, transforming into the Green Star before he burst in, drew his blaster and frantically looked around, catching someone he didn’t recognize from before and deducing that this was in fact Lura. He kept his eyes on her, both of his hands gripping his blaster tight by his side. If she were to make a sudden movement, he’d be ready to take the shot.

He held his pose while the other agents spoke, but broke it when he realized he left his blaster in its ‘invincible shot’ mode, indicated by the green glow. Taking his eyes off of the suspect, Zed turned the dial on his gun, watching it change back to the original shape.

But this would be his undoing, as a moment later, he’d be hit by a flying G.U.N. agent. The agents around him, along with the support he got from his vest, took some of the impact off of Zed, but the suddenness of the attack not only floored the wolf, but made him lose his grip on his blaster, and sent it sliding on the floor away from him.

From the ground, he looked up and saw Lura's eyes having turned red. Zed figured that the time for talking was over. This woman was dangerous.

“Hey” he said, jostling the thrown operative laying on him, “can you stand? We're gonna need all the help we can get!”

Rahvenholm Investigation. Empty Re: Rahvenholm Investigation.

A rumble of thunder seemed to shake the house, then the laughter started. Wolf looks right towards the source of it... Lura.

*What an odd reaction to have...* he thinks.

Then she seemed to effortlessly pick up and throw the agent she'd be close to. Wolf was fortunate enough not to be in his path, he'd been wise enough to stand to one side of the hallway, but he hadn't been quick enough to duck. The firearm the agent had been holding came loose as he was thrown and it smacked Wolf in the side of the head, staggering him, but not quite making him fall over.

As he regains his balance, he also reaches up with one paw to cover the sore spot on his head and looks back towards Lura.

Lura's eye's remained red as she pulled a large kitchen knife from pocket. Brandishing it at the group.

"I was hoping to get a little closer before I started having fun. To bad y'all had to ruin that...

Her voice was smooth, calm, deliberate. But obviously insane as she twiddle the knife in her hands.

"I do hope y'all won't be too much trouble... I'm rather tired of this body. She's not fun to play with anymore."

As shespoke the agents had quickly gotten themselves back up and already had there sights set on her as she spoke and got ever so closer.

"Hold your position. You under arrest for the suspicion of murdering G.U.N operatives. Put down your weapon and come quietly."

Lura laughed, the storm outside increasing in intensity. She walk forwards as the house around them rumbled. Water began to drip from the ceiling.

"Sorry. She isn't able to do anything right now," she giggled as she hugged herself, "She's mine right now... all mine... but I could use someone new to play with..."

As she finished talking she suddenly threw her hands up and then down. The sudden movement made the agents open fire, the dark, dimly lit hallway was soon inveloped in the sound of gunfire. Before any shots reach her however, the group was suddenly drenched in a torrent of water from the ceiling as it swarmed and seamed to be alive. Grabbing and holding anyone it hit.
