Willow started shoot very powerful beams to the sky. The she shot water and fire. She was also screaming..Very loud. It looked like a a very dangerous show of power. "Can I do it again?"

The guards just waited until she was done and then offered to take her to Foreman Jasper.

"Yeah, you probably can."

The guards then took her to Foreman Jasper, who ran a mining operation just outside town.

The Foreman, an aging, silver kitsune, was not happy to see her.

The spell sent her a few more feet forwards, with the same lightning effect around her.

"Alright. Gem appraisal is not here, though. It's in the city," the Foreman says. "Look for Jasper Appraising Services. You'll have a steady supply of gems and a daily quota that you have to meet."

"No, just these basic ones. I think it's because using it the same way is simpler and better for complete beginners."

"Yeah, definitely. Wands get lost and staves are big."

"Mages that use them argue that they make their spells better, but so does enchanted jewelery."

"With magic, you can enchant objects to increase your own power and jewelry is preffered, because it's small. I have no idea how it works, however."

As per norm, the people inside were kitsune, each behind a table using some rather peculiar tools to shape and cut gemstones.

The supervisor was the one that greeted her. "Heard about you. I'm so glad they sent me some help!"
