Pandemoniun (Pt. 1)

"Yep."

The member of the council that was speaking to her moved his head down a little, perhaps as a way to bow or something. "You will know the result shortly."

Willow moved in the bed trying to make it a little more comfy. Wendigo smiled and then left the room.

Lotus was almost sandwiched between them, but didn't seem to mind.

"Well, how did it go?" Legion asked.

"you okay lotus?" "I think it want well"

"Yeah."

Legion smiled. "I'm glad it did."

Willow sighed again and tried to go to sleep. "I wonder how long they will take."

In her dream, she was in the meadow again, but this time, hay was planted there. The house was still there, however.

"you-you okay?" Legion asked. "I didn't get a chance to say how sorry I am..."

"what's this hat doing here?" "I feel better...But it's weird...All the other yous look different"

"Me and my husband used to have a farm." Though Willow didn't see her arrive, Lee was right next to her.

"Small differences was the compromise they were willing to make."

"oh?" "Really?"

"I used to live in a small village in the countryside. I married a farmer."

"Yes. My idea was for each of them to have completely different clothes."

"what happened to the farmer?" "But they are all still you"

"Died of old age. He was the one my brother was reffering to when he mentioned me killing someone."

"And you'd allow them to do the same things I do? Just because they look like me?"

"wait if he died of old age...why would your brother say you killed him?" Viola had a hard time wrapping her head around the idea of clones. "Why do you keep saying they sent you if they are aren't they?"

"Shortly after our marriage, I told him the truth about me," Lee confessed. "It didn't change anything; he loved me all the same. On his deathbed, I told him I can save him, but he refused. His last wish was to see me as young as the day we first met. I held his hand." The more Lee talked, the slower and more tearful her voice sounded.

Legion let out a deep sigh. He was really tired of arguing about this. "You know what? Do whatever you want, see if I care," he muttered. "Maybe you'll find out why the clones don't like you as much as I do."

willow touched lee. "you don't need to talk more about if you don't want too.." "I'm sorry I cant understand!! you don't have to talk to me like that! " viola sounded more hurt than mad

"I never told anyone else this..."

"My clones see you as just another person who lives in the fort," Legion explains. "That's the main difference. They don't know you how I do. Now, tell me, if they and I are supposed to be the same, how come the first two things I said are true?"

"well go tell your brother this" voila thought about it but didn't get it so she just stay quiet

"I don't think it would change anything."

Legion offered her a hug.

"Well you never know unless try" viola hugged him.

"Wait here." Lee disappeared and reappeared with her brother.

"Yeah, what?" She told him the same thing she told Willow and he just froze in disbelief.

"I'll think of something," Legion told her. "Okay?"

"You should believe it.." "thank you.."

"Sis, I... I'm sorry," Her brother started. "Is that the reason you came back? If not a family, you'd have the second best thing?"

Lee just nodded.

Legion waited for her to let go before he did. "Would it help if you thought of them as flawed copies?"

Willow didn't want to interrupt them. They seemed to be having a sibling moment. "Yeah it would" she let go

The two feuding siblings sharee a hug. "Why? Why didn't say this sooner?"

"I thought you wouldn't believe me. You already believed I was here to stand in your way, when all I wanted was refuge."

One of the committee's assistants notified Viola. "Miss, the members of the committee wish to speak to you."
