Atlas of Worlds (Pt. 1)

Oddly enough, he did not take her to his personal stash of booze, but her room. "Drunk off you, you dummy!"

"What?!" Liela was confused.

"You're the only one I want to get drunk off; still confused?"

"Yes...very..." Liela said

He whispered something into her ear.

Liela gave a nervous laugh."ok...just don't do anything too crazy" Liela said sitting on the bed.

Ivona was trying and failing to get a knack for real food again. Her symbiotic alien friend pretty much replaced her hunger with a need to charge every three days like sort of battery.

"Hey, if you're done chewing and spitting things out," Maggie shouted at her from the living room. "Me and Kia are still waiting for that homemade pizza you promised."

Oh gosh that scene!))

Kia smiled. "Yes I don't like it when people don't complete their promises.!"

Out of spite, Ivona gave each of them a knife, a fork and a banana.

Kia laughed . "ahh...what a good joke this is. " She started peeling of the banana and eat it.

Maggie threw the banana like a boomerang and Ivona only narrowly avoided it. "Pizza, pizza, pizza!"

In response, Ivona threw bits of pizza dough at her and she didn't miss. Maggie still ate it.

Kia just kept laughing. "How did you manage to catch that food in your mouth perfectly?"

"Spent a year in a circus as one of the freaks when I started turning; only way I got food."

"woe...well at least you learned something useful."

"I also learned that if you hit something hard enough in the face, say, with a big tail, that thing dies."

Kia backed up from Maggie a little. "Please don't do that to me...."

"I'm just saying; that's how I escaped the circus," she confessed. "Sorry if you find that disturbing; I really don't have a lot of happy stories worth sharing."

Ivona decided that instead of the oven, she's use her powers on the dough to cook it.

The results were questiontable at best and inedible at worst, as Ivona herself was a really bad cook that couldn't even taste what she was cooking.

She brought them the plates; on each was a pizza that didn't look anything like a pizza. Maggie was mildly repulsed, but started eating it anyway with her bare hands.

Kia looked at the plate. "Well at least I lived as long as I have.." kia took a knife and fork and eat a piece of the pizza."

Beneath the far too crunchy crust and scorched cheese was a tomato sauce that tasted out of date.

There was also no meat on the pizza.

Kia almost threw up. "Oh god....this..is...." Kia gave a smile. "The perfect thing to give to my brother!! Is there any way you can make this look like a good food?"

Ivona walked up to her, saddened. "w-what do you mean? are you implying that it doesn't look like normal food?"

"I'm implying it needs to look like a cookie to get ren to eat this."

"Disguise raisin cooking as chocolate chip," Maggie suggested. "Or, take a bag of crisps, lick off all the salt and then, when giving it to him, pretend that it's some new flavor."

If Kia still had Prima in her spear, it would probably glow.

"Such great ideas...Ren deserves some innocent payback..."

"so, you didn't like the food? was it so bad that you're only gonna use it for a joke?" Ivona gave it her best, really. Before the incident with the alien, she was a fairly competent cook.

"Sorry darling, cooking just isn't your thing," Maggie tried to be honest without being mean. "Just keep trying."
