Ayah was pinching herself to stay awake, but still stood by what she said. Taking out foreign objects lodged in someone? Not a good idea if you want them to bleed out.

Same thing with bullets that didn't hit anything vital.

The sight of Ayah getting herself hurt again made Ivona snap.

When a jolt of lightning hit, whether it be by sheer fury, luck, determination or all three, she tapped into it, litting up in a bright orange fireball, with every drop of water turning into steam as it hit her.

"We're gonna need something more than a lightbulb!" Maggie shouted.

Liela started throwing tons of beams to the tentacles she could see. Kia throw her spear at tentacles and then summoning it back to her.

No tentacles emerged, not did the monster. This was either a deliberate trap or a breather.

"why did it stop attacking?!" Liela asked looking at Ayah. "Most likely resting...or maybe planning!" Kia looked left and right not budging from her location.

[Crimson Skies]

Ivona floated above the water, scanning it. No movement. Maybe it retreated.

Oh, how wrong she was.

In that very moment, the Kraken burst out of water and swalloed her whole in a single chomp and going back into the water.

"No!" Maggie shouted. "Come back here!"

Kia shook a little. "Now you have given me a reason to kill you monster!!!" Kia held her spear with a now found motivation. Liela went to Maggie."Maggie do you think this creature has eyes or something so you could petrifie it?!"

[Crimson Skies]

"You think I didn't try? It did nothing to it!" The the Kraken shot out of the water with a screech, a scorching orange spot on its belly.

"And it looks like Ivona is pissed...or maybe the alien is..." "That alien?!? Oh those details don't matter! We should attack now that's it's distracted!!!" Kia threw her spear. Liela summoned a couple beams and threw them at tentacles.

Ivona burst out of it, covered in some sort of sticky goo, but not the ink Liela was looking for. She appeared to be flying.

Seriously hurt, the squid went back into the water to recuperate. "I saw the ink sack," Ivona said. "But it wasn't very happy when I tried to cut it out."

[Dogy9978]

You're looking for ink sacks?" "Yeah Kia!!" Kia looked like she was thinking before running off and jumping into the water. Liela almost freaked out. "KIA WHAT ARE YOU DOING!!!" Kia went underwater and aimed her spear. (Eat me whole beast!!)

Instead, a tentacle wrapped around her and started squeezing and pulling her beneath the surface of the water.

"Idiot..." The wounded Ayah let out.

Kia tried desperately to stab the tentacle with her spear. Liela glared at ayah. "Just shut up Ayah!!!"

[Crimson Skies]

The tentacle responded by smacking her in the face, whilst others underwater continued their effort to take her under and drown her.

Ivona flew over to help her, frying one of the offending tentacles and causing another screech from the Kraken, upon which the rest loosened their grip on Kia.

When the tentacle smacked her on the face it made her let out the air she had making her drown . She tried to swim up for air but she may have been to far under.

In the second that Ivona kept hesitating, Maggie jumped in, swimming to save Kia. Based on how well she can see underwater, Maggie's either gonna look like a savior or a massive, tentacle send to finish her off.

When Kia saw Maggie she started panicking kicking what she thought was another oddly colored tentacle. She used her last but of energy doing that and when it came time, she finally gave in. Slowly the life in her eyes faded. Sje started to drift peacefully in the water. The spear started to glow an odd color of red and so did kia faintly but enough to see that something had happened between them.

Maggie grabbed her by the hand and swam to the surface as quickly as she could, with Maggie throwing Kia on the small, barren island.

Then came a slap, following by another slap. "Don't you dare die on me! I will kill you if you die!"

Nothing short of poetry.

But Kia seemed to have gotten to the next life. Slapping wasn't going to wake her. Liela ran up to to them. "Stop slapping her!!!! Oh kia please wake up!!!!" Liela shook her. "Why is she glowing??!? "

[Crimson Skies]

"Kia and Ayah have abandoned your struggle." A voice announced. "Three of you remain."

[Dogy9978]

"Nooooo!! Kia!! Ayah!!!!" Liela had enough of this. "Maggie you stay there and fight some tentacles with Ivona! I'll go get the ink sacks!!!" Liela ran off the shore and swam into the water. She tried her best use her phase through abilities to get inside the beast as quickly as she could.

The monster re-emerged, now also with its little army of tentacles. 

Maggie and Ivona teamed up to kill them, with Maggie taking the hits and Ivona calling the shots. With them fighting, the monster seemed occupied.

But Liela's ability didn't work. To the monster, she was still as solid as ever.

Liela swim back up to get a breath of air before swimming back down taking out her gunblade. (If I can't phase through to the ink sacks...I'll cut through!) Liela started throwing beams and cutting on one part of the monster.

It noticed what she was trying to do and jumped at her with its gaping maw.

Meanwhile, the duo of snake lady and lightbulb managed to kill seven tentacles, bringing the total to eight.

Two more and they'll just have to kill seventy.

This wasn't tedious at all.

Liela swam right into its mouth. Hoping that she would be swallowed whole.

She avoided its teeth very narrowly and ended up in its stomach. A single ink sac was on stomach's walls.
