"Well Liela never really had parents. They disowned when she was five." Kia whispered to the Shapeshifter sound sad. "But was Lillith really the one who started it with Maggie? Hmm?"

"Lillith let it happen," the shapeshifter continued. "Which is still pretty bad."

[Dogy9978]

"Maybe Lillith doesn't know how to say no to those things. Maybe that's how she was brought up to think. I have heard of some of the stories she talks about her old master."

[Crimson Skies]

"So what should we do?"

[Dogy9978]

"We go get the ingredients. Um let's do the hard one first to get it over with. I feel like we are going to be fighting that monster all day." "Monster? Liela I'm a judge not a monster hunter. You dragged me here to kill monsters?"

[Crimson Skies]

The book automatically scanned her and determined her EPL as 65, which was just five levels above the recommended level for attempting to kill the thing.

Next, the book listed some tips.

'Don't die.

Don't die. If you do, you'll be send back to the tavern.

Seriously, don't die.

Eighty tentacles. Cut all off, don't let any wrap around you.'

"Wow this is the best advice ever..." Liela's sarcasm was evident. "EPL? " "That's your level kia. Like a game. Pretty nice. Though I don't know what your class is." 

[Crimson Skies]

The book displayed her as not one class, but two.

She could either be a lancer or a dragoon. Both were functionally identical; both had a long-reaching weapon and light armor.

"Two classes huh? I suppose it doesn't really matter." Kia said. Liela looked at the book waiting for the button to appear. "You guys are ready?"

[Crimson Skies]

The button appeared as soon as Liela wanted it to.

"Yes," Ivona let out. "I'm going all in no matter what. With care, of course."

"Yeah, I think." Ayah wasn't sure how she'll help, but she wanted to help. Like, more than usual.

"You take us to the nicest places," Maggie retorted. "Yet, of all the people I know, I hate you the least."

"Really? Thanks Maggie. " Liela pressed the button.

[Crimson Skies]

All five of them appeared on a small, barren island, with just the vast, ocean blue surrounding them.

"That's... anti-climactic," Ayah says. "My expectations were different."

"Well would you rather be dieing right now?"

[Crimson Skies]

A thunder was sounded and it started to rain. The serene calm of the ocean was soon gone and something big was moving beneath the waters.

Immediately, this shut down Ivona's abilties and left her with just the vital one – the one that was keeping her alive. "Ayah, give me one of your daggers."

"ok guys be ready....it's about to go down. If you so someone get caught in the tentacles, help them out!"

[Crimson Skies]

Out of the waters emerged a gigantic, squid-like thing. It screeched, showing its round, gaping maw full of teeth and then burrowed into the water. Floating ship pieces appeared all around the isle, big enough for a single person to stand on.

"Split up!" Maggie shrieked. "Don't let it touch you!" Ayah gave Heartstring to Ivona and skipped across to one of the ship parts, motioninjg the rest of them to follow her.

Kia summoned her spear running to the left. Liela levitated above kia leaning a little to the right.

[Crimson Skies]

The squid-like thing, the Kraken, jumped out of the water and went for Ivona, the weakest of the group.

"Oh no you don't!" Ayah stabbed the squid as it flew above her head, cutting across its entire body. It shrieked and missed Ivona completely, going back into the water, but it was obvious a single attack wouldn't be enough to kill it.

The rain segued into a heavy thunderstorm.

Kia pointed her spear to the water and awaited an attack. "Good just twenty million to go.."

[Crimson Skies]

Tentacles emerged from the water all around them. They remained stationary for a few seconds before they started attacking, some of them going for a slap, other, spiky ones, hurling spikes from a distance.

[Dogy9978]

Kia started to hurl her spear against the tentacles that going in for the slaps. Liela summoned beams and started throwing them at the spikes coming their way.

[Crimson Skies]

The spikes let out a loud beep on impact and exploded shortly after. For Kia and Liela that had some range in keeping them at bay this was no problem, but for Ivona and the rest, it was only a matter of time before they got shot.

Maggie had it pretty bad since she was a big target, but her skin was thick. Only when the spikes detonated did she feel like something had hit her.

Ayah defended the almost-defenceless Ivona as best as she could and Ivona did her best to help her against the slap-happy tentacles, but everything seemed to slow down for Ayah when she was hit with a barrage of spikes, one embedding itself into her stomach and the other two into her arm and leg.

"Ayah!!!" Liela went closer to Ayah. Kia ran right Infront of ayah"this is going to hurt alot. Please don't move!!" Kia holded on one of the spikes and tried to pull it out.

[Crimson Skies]

"Wait, don't-" Before Ayah could finish, Kia pulled out the spike from her stomach and a jet of crimson shot out. The spike was the only thing keeping her from bleeding out, which started rapidly after it was removed.

She wasn't angry, she was sad. Her favourite shirt was now most definitely ruined.

"You... idiot.." The tentacles went back into the water and movement was seen under the water again.

"IM NOT AN IDIOT!!" Kia took off the top part if her clothes and and quickly wrapped it around the bleeding part. She stayed right beside Ayah. "Don't move!! " Kia pointed her spear away in a defensive position.
