It was a beautiful early saturday afternoon, around 12.30 PM. People were walking around on the streets and occasionally someone was jogging. The sun was just getting stronger and temperature started to become nice. There was a small breeze of wind blowing through the air and trees.

One could notice that people were walking in the same direction, the centre of the city. This was because of a carnival that took place. There were many things and rides to do and go on. Tons of booths, grabbing machines, gamble games, a bumper car place, a large carousel, a giant's stride, a haunted house, and even a small rollercoaster!

There were several places to get food and drinks like cotton candy, candy canes, churros, cola, fanta, lemonade, etc. There also were two or three hotdog stands. The music of all the rides and booths formed a symphony of noise, one that would hurt your ears if you spent too much time in the same place. Children were laughing and running around, their parents were waiting at the exits of the rides for them to come out or were buying food and drinks.

Close to one of the food stands, there were a cat and a wolf. The cat had a red fur, dark brown hair and yellow eyes. She wore a sleeveless sweater and a regular pair of jeans. Her muzzle was colored a dark grey shade. The wolf had green fur and bright purple hair. She had a beige muzzle, just like the fur on her chest, belly and the tip of her tail. The tips of her ears were black and the right ear had a piercing. She had deep blue eyes and  wore a blue zipper hoodie, skinny jeans and a red shirt.

They were chatting and laughing together when the cat walked away. "Dione I need to... Y'know.. Find a bathroom." she said. The wolf looked at her and then laughed. "Okay okay, go then, I'll wait here." The canine turned to the woman in the stand and ordered a hotdog. She had already eaten it when she thought she spotted her friend in the crowd. "FELICIA!" she yelled, but it wasn't her friend. It's been 10 minutes now and the cat hadn't returned yet. The wolf was getting slightly worried that Felicia could have lost her. She checked her phone. Dead battery. 'Great Dione... just great.' she thought.

Dione started running in the direction Felicia had left and tried to avoid the people she was encountering. Though.. Despite her efforts she bumped into several people and finally ran against someone so hard that she fell on the ground. The impact could've even sent the other person to the ground.

It was a lovely day for a carnival visit.Sunny, warm but not too warm. The excited cat headed towards the carnival as if it was her first visit to a carnival. She ran inside to try out the little mini games."Whoa, look at all the activities!"April exclaimed. She looks around to find which mini games to play with first.

After walking around she started to head towards the food court, until she was knocked on the ground by a person running into her."What happened?"she would question while trying to stand up.

The hustle and bustle of the crowded carnival roared as Saber made his way through the crowd. The dark colored wolf-dog was carrying an old sword, which was sheathed on his hip and hidden beneath his overcoat, save for the hilt that stuck out every now and then as he walked. With the scar down his face he appeared to be a troublemaker at first glance, but he was far from that. Still, he didn't exactly talk much, so the intimidating getup worked well enough for him.

He was somewhat of a drifter, making his way from city to city as he fought the criminal underbelly of each district. Most would say he was a vigilante and he liked the sound of that. After so much crime fighting even he needed a break, so it was nice to get away from the violence for a while and actually enjoy himself.

After purchasing some cotton candy, Saber parked himself on a bench and eyeballed the sweet treat. He tilted his head slightly, wondering how to begin. He'd never eaten cotton candy before, after all.

His ears flicked up when he heard commotion nearby. Two girls had collided with each other. No doubt it was a common occurrence in such a busy location. He casually listened in on their conversation as he went back to studying the candy floss he'd purchased.

Carnival gone wrong Empty Re: Carnival gone wrong

Walking out of a tent, a red white and black furred canine rolled her eyes. Being sent away from the military for respite was somewhat boring as she wasn't allowed to visit her old laboratory. Looking around the carnival she narrowed her eyes slightly, not quite eyeing the festivities going on around her but the people. It was her job, she thought, to fix anyone with even slight deformity on them. Apart from the scarred wolf-dog, nobody seemed to need her. This made her somewhat annoyed.

Deciding that enough was enough she finally had decided to enjoy herself, if she could. Purchasing a drink of punch from the vendor beside her, she sat a few benches away from the wolf-dog and kept observing her surroundings.

Her floppy ears suddenly perked up as she had an idea. It may or may not work, she thought, but it was worth a try. Offering the drink that she hadn't even touched to a child running by, she ruffled their hair and walked toward a tent at the end of the carnival. A white tent with a plus on it, she walked in. After talking for a small while with the head doctor in the accidents tent and showing her medical license papers that she carried a copy of everywhere with her she was permitted to work in the tent.

After a few stitches on open acrobats wounds and fixing other concussions of both carnies and civilians, a noise struck outside her tent. Like something had fallen, she'd thought. Popping her head outside the tent, she kept an eye for a few seconds on the girls to see if either were hurt.

Elsewhere, in a quieter area of the park, a lone Mobian was strolling around. She appeared fascinated with the rides that were all around her, and the stalls with their many prizes that were making many children and adults alike happy when they won a prize.

The Mobian in question was a violet snow leopard. Her black hair was free from its usual restraining hair tie and she was wearing casual clothing that consisted of light blue skinny jeans, a black and white long dress shirt that was unbuttoned, showing a black tank top underneath, and lastly her shoes were black and white hi top trainers.

She swished her long fluffy tail around absentmindedly as she continued to gaze around the filled park. Over on the other side of where she was, she spotted an ice cream vendor, and silently thanked the Goddess for finding something to cool her down, even for a little bit. She jogged over to the vendor and asked for a triple scoop tub with chocolate, mint and vanilla as her decided options. Once she paid for her treat, she walked off towards the louder areas and also where the bigger coasters were.

She wasn't one for loud places, but the atmosphere in here was something that couldn't help but bring a smile to her face. This was her first time in a carnival, and so far it was something enjoyable.

"Hmm, I wonder..." She mumbled to herself as she watched a rollercoaster going over a loop, which made her stomach turn a little. She shook her head and had a couple more spoonfuls of her icy sweet as she continued her exploration around.

The crowd had cleared some space between themselves and the two girls on the ground. "Nnnghh..." Dione groaned. She reached for her head and tried to stand up. Her vision was a bit dizzy and she began to get a small head ache. "I- woah.. I'm so sorry." she stuttered and took a shaky step backwards. Her jeans were stained with grass and mud and so were her hands.

"Oh gosh,.. Are you okay?" She looked at the cat with a bit squited eyes, still holding her head. The head ache began to grow stronger because of the music around them and a bruise was starting to form underneath her fur. "Perhaps we should go to the medics' tent..." She started walking there slowly, looking back if the cat was following her. If she was't, Dione would walk back and see if the cat had any serious injuries.

Saber casually observed the girls as they stood up and made their way to the medical tent. He turned his attention back to the cotton candy once they disappeared into the dense crowd. He touched his tongue to the candy floss, immediately recoiling and crinkling his nose. How could anyone eat this?! It tasted like pure sugar cane!

He tossed the candy floss in the nearest trashcan and made his way through the crowd again. He stopped at the edge of the medical tent, peering inside to see if the two girls were being taken care of. He had no reasoning for it, other than curiosity. It was interesting to see how Mobians reacted to one another.

The roaring of the rollercoaster and the ear-piercing screams of the teenage girls aboard it were beginning to give him a headache. Regardless, he was determined to have some form of fun, even if it killed him.

Saber swiveled his head casually as if he were looking for something, but he was mostly just pretending to, still catching a glance into the tent every time someone went in or out. He didn't want to look suspicious, after all. His appearance was questionable enough.

He spotted another Mobian, this time a Husky woman wearing a doctor's overcoat. He suspected she'd take good care of the girls. He took a step back, starting to walk away. Now he was the clumsy one, bumping right into a young hedgehog guy.

"Whoops, sorry about that." He spoke in his normal tone of voice, which was hardly loud enough over the wealth of activities occurring around them. His head still swiveled back to the tent from time to time. That doctor, where had he seen her before? He tried to shrug it off but now he couldn't get it out of his head.

As a medical tent attendee opened the tent for the two girls to walk in, the concerned canine turned round. "Have a bit of a bump I see, you two." She would usually talk to herself. She wasn't much of a people person but fixing their ailments was all she could ever really think about. Quickly scanning over the two with a green eye, she walked toward them with her hands behind her back.

Not exactly caring much for personal boundaries, the husky spoke to the wolf first. "Slight concussion, bruised blood underneath the skin." Her fingers touched the wolf's eye softly as she opened her eyelids. "Mmhm. You're slightly banged up so if you'd just like to sit down a few and take some of this then you will feel better in no time." Pouring a cup of water, she dropped a fizzing tablet inside to calm whatever pain the girl was having. "And you," she began, looking over the cat, "Slight limp on the left leg with mild abrasion. Nothing a little antiseptic and band-aid can't fix." After applying both to the cats leg, she sat them both down and began to pace slightly.

After a while had passed, feeling as though any pain should be away, she walked over to the two girls. "Alright now, you both can run along. Please do be careful the next time you run out, these places can be somewhat dangerous. I've seen people even get trampled." She motioned the two girls up, barely keeping eye contact with them.

As she poked her head once more out the tent to see if anything strange was going on, she noticed the wolf-dog. What a strange man, she thought. Her eyes narrowed as she thought harder...she had seen him once before but didn't quite know where. Her eyes went back to their usual slightly disgruntled look before she gave up on her thinking and pulled her head back inside.

Carnival gone wrong Empty Re: Carnival gone wrong

Post by ForevaYoung Fri Aug 12, 2016 7:01 pm

Upon reaching a ride that she heard others call a 'ferris wheel', the violet female looked around to find she had somehow stumbled across an area where the rides were more scarce, and it held many other things such as prize stalls and more food places. She wiggled her nose at all the smells and shook her head slowly.

"No, you have ice cream, you don't need to eat any- Ouch!" She yelped uncharacteristically loudly as she felt her tail get pulled from behind. She turned to face who it was when she couldn't get it free.

A small child was standing behind her. He was an orange rabbit with ears that were too big for him, making them fall forwards to obstruct his vision. He was hugging her thick fluffy appendage and began to slightly drool all over it as he gurgled the words of a toddler, making the snow leopard cringe slightly.

"Hey kid, can I please have my tail back? I sort of...need it. Now...Please?"

The child merely looked up and pushed his large ears back to get a better look at who was speaking to him. Once he saw her somewhat nervous expression, his big eyes turned devious as he began to pull her tail harder and harder, making the girl wince, but refuse to let out a cry like she did before.

'Someone please take this child away before he pulls my tail out the socket. I'm begging you.'

As if her silent prayers were answered, an older female rabbit called out in the distance, for him. She spotted him with the purple cat and rushed over to apologise repeatedly for whatever her son had done.

"I am sooo sorry ma'am! Little Toffee here is going through the grabbing phase." She spoke softly with a motherly smile. "He just sees something and grabs on to it. Come on now Toffee, we must get back to your daddy."

The little rabbit glanced up to his mother, then to the female he had pestered, a hint of mischief still in his eyes. He moved her tail, but then forced it on to the ground with an iron grip before trampling on it with all of his weight.

Again with more apologies and gasps of horror at the child's unruly manner towards others, the female clutched her tail and headed off towards the nearest medical tent she could find.

That child was evil.

The wolf looked up at what the medic said. "Concussion? Oh great..." she mumbled. When the husky told her to sit down, she sat down on one of the chairs that were close to the exit of the tent, still holding her head. 'I should have been more careful. Why did I run off in the first place?' Dione thought to herself. She mumble out loud a bit. 'And how is it even possible that my battery went dead?' She usually checked how much power is left in her devices before she leaves the house.

Then the medic came to her with a glass of fizzing water, she had put some kind of pill in it for it seemed. "Ehm.. What is this stuff,  if I may ask?" she asked, but the woman had already continued her way to the cat. Apparently it wasn't important enough to answer her question. Hesistating the wolf took a sip of the water and frowned when she tasted it. A bitter-ish taste filled her mouth and her first reflex was to spit it back into the glass, but she swallowed the liquid and drank the rest of the water in one big gulp, so that she would taste as little of it as possible.

Then, when the medic was done with the cat, Dione looked up at the cat. "Yikes.. That looks painful. Are you okay?" She was a bit ashamed that her rush had caused pain to the cat and she immediatly looked away, awaiting the response of the cat. "I- I'm really sorry y'know.. I was in a rush and well.. I didn't see you standing there."

The woman came back and told them they were good to go again, but she remarked that they should be careful. "Okay, thank you kindly for your care." Dione stood up and started making her way out the tent when she heard yelling coming from outside. A purple leopard's tail was being pulled on by a rabbit child. It was quite the funny sight, but when Dione saw the expression on the leopard's face, it suddenly wasn't that funny anymore. It looked like the child was hurting her quite the bit. Dione hesitated to go and get help from one of the security people that were at some major rides and the more crowded places, but then she saw another rabbit, assumingly the mother of the child, walking towards the two. The woman took the rabbit child with her and walked away.

The leopard started walking towards the medics' tent and when their paths crossed, Dione glanced at the feline, making eye contact if the woman were to look back at her.

April sat there silently until she started to think it was rude of her not to say anything about the situation. She opened her mouth in the medic tent but then quickly shut it because it would make it more awkward or strange. She waited until the treatment was done.Looking around to see all the medical things.

She heard the wolf's apology."Its okay.I completely understand."She'd smile back. When they were able to leave, she said thank you and she slowly floats away to adventure the carnival some more. She hoped the wolf would be more careful next time.

Saber caught site of the doctor lady again. His eyes narrowed, finally recognizing her from his past. She worked with his evil stepfather a while back, when Saber was just a child. They preformed countless surgeries and created abominations that should never have seen the light of day. How was she here and not in prison? 'Looks like I'll have to take this into my own hands..' He thought to himself as he turned back around to face the hedgehog. He'd use this situation to his advantage.

Saber gave the hedgehog fellow a quick nod. "I'm fine, thanks." He reached down and grasped the young man's hand and yanked him to his feet. "Actually, you don't look so good, friend. You got bumped pretty hard." He lied, grasping the hedgehog's shoulder and guiding him through the crowd. "We should get you to that medical tent just in case. You don't want to be walking around with a concussion."

The wolfdog's ears flicked to attention when he heard yet another scream. He turned his head as he made their way to the tent. A leopard was having a tug-of-war battle with a small child using her tail. He shrugged it off, figuring she'd be just fine seeing as how it was only a kid. He entered the tent with the hedgehog guy in tow. "Guy's got something wrong with his head..." He tried to hide his anger, but it was proving difficult. He clenched his fist and narrowed his eyes slightly at the red husky. He'd now wait for an opportune moment to subdue the woman.

Carnival gone wrong Empty Re: Carnival gone wrong

Post by Sikopio Mon Aug 15, 2016 9:05 pm

After raising a hand as though to wave the cat and wolf goodbye, the doctor sat down again before yet another patient came in. As the husky took a quick glance at her she could clearly see that her tail was dislocated. 'How the hell can you dislocate your tail in-nevermind.' she thought to herself, shaking her head. "Hello, hello. Now, to get straight to the point, do you have any other aches than just your out of place tail?" The doctor motioned the snow leopard to lay down on a padded bed. Once she had done this, the doctor, without asking, flicked a needle of green Novocain. "Just a local anesthetic to help you out." she said before immediately injecting it in to the leopards lower spine. She waited a few minutes before returning to her and pushing her tail a certain way to pop it back in to place.

The red husky didn't care what or who she was dealing with, that was evident with the two girls and now the leopard in the tent. Not being one for conversations, she helped the leopard back up, helping her walk to the bench that the previous girls sat on. "I would recommend staying here for the next five to ten minutes until the anesthetic wears off."

Quickly pivoting around on one foot, the doctor picked up her clipboard and began to tap her pen against her lip. As she heard the rustling of the tent open, she turned her head to see her next patient. There was two. Again. A young hedgehog and a young wolf-dog. Her eyes flinched seeing the scar across the dog's face. 'How could a wound so open be left untreated like that.' she thought to herself before quickly shrugging it off. The dog's eyes were locked on to her. She felt strange, as though he was up to no good.

Tentatively, the husky walked over to the two boys. She looked over and round the hedgehog whilst also keeping a watch on the dog. It wouldn't be the first time someone had tried to get her. "There appears to be nothing wrong with this young man's head. You are mistaken though mistakes happen. I guess you both had a bump as well? No worries. Nothing is wrong." The doctor turned her back though couldn't shake the feeling that the somewhat aggressive wolf-dog was still staring. She cleared her throat and collected her thoughts before walking back over to the leopard. "Now, how is that anesthetic?"

Trailing towards the tent, the violet female glanced back to the green wolf whom had just exited the very tent she was looking for and flashed her a shy smile of acknowledgement that she had looked at her in the first place. Immediately upon arriving inside the tent, she was met with a female husky who was in charge of all things medical. Without a word uttered, she was able to determine that she came about her precious tail. It wasn't until those words were mentioned that she realised just how out of place it actually was.

'How on Mobius could a small child have so much strength? I'm so embarrassed.'

She shook her head at the mention of anywhere else being hurt or damaged, pausing for a second before following the husky's direction and laying down on the medical bed with a slight wince when she felt pressure on the bottom of her back upon sitting down. As she moved onto her front to let the professional do her work, she spotted the needle and involuntarily shuddered. She closed her eyes as she felt a slight sharp pain for a second before everything went weird and tingly before going completely numb.

A light 'pop' reverberated though her body as her tail was put back where it was supposed to be in the first place. She smiled softly in thanks that she was able to have been helped so quickly.

Understanding the words of the medic about staying put for just a little longer, she thought about trying to start a conversation with her. She looked like someone who would rather just get the job done with as little words spoken as she could muster, but the cat girl wanted to at least try. She was similar in a way, but it was mostly just shyness on her part due to being so sheltered.

The violet Mobian began to feel the effects of the drug in her system begin to wear off, as shown by her being able to freely move her appendage once again, accidentally slapping herself in the face with it.

"I...I know it sounds stupid... and for the most part pathetic, but... would you believe me if I told you that a child did this?"

A slight pinkness showed on her muzzle to indicate her humiliation at how ridiculous she sounded right then. Why did she even bother opening her mouth? The husky girl would probably laugh in her face at her words.

She slapped her tail out of her face and growled lowly, partially because of her own words and partially because of her body part seemingly having its own mind.

Since the whole bumping into each other with the wolf incident, April tried avoiding others so she doesn't have anyone else sent to the Med tent.So she decided to get her extra bandana to wrap around her leg for precaution.

"Well at least it feels comfortable now and not so weird."April said to herself quietly. So then she went to see the rides and competitions, the first competition she saw is a hot dog eating one.April watched from afar since she doesn't like being in crowds all the time. She cheered them from the corner she was watching them from. After the hot dog eating contest was done she went on her first roller coaster ride, the line was long but April waited, while listening to her random music.
