Appearance: Obsidian is a short [2'8'" / 80cm], curvy hedgehog with periwinkle fur and pale skin. She has three short quills which protrude from her forhead, and five long quills on the back of her head, two of which curl upwards. Her quills are accented at the tips by a darker periwinkle, which is also present around her eyes, which are yellow.

Personality:
Hot headed, aggressive, and stubborn, Obsidian is not very easy to get along with. She typically acts first and thinks later, which can lead her into spots of trouble now and then. Though, underneath her hard shell, she's pretty soft and empathetic, but she'd never admit it. She is a thrill seeker at heart and loves to go on adventures.

History
Obsidian was born to Onyx, an archaeologist, and Opal, a journalist, in an average suburban neighborhood. Traveling with her parents for their respective occupations inspired her wanderlust at a young age, and she found that she grew restless staying in one area for too long, which eventually lead her to choose a similar lifestyle. With her two closest friends, Fargo and Cirrus, and her pet chao, Melanite, she travels from town to town in search of adventure.

Appearance: Fargo is tall [3'9" / 115cm] and lanky with a long, slender tail. She has lime green fur with a white muzzle, belly, inner ear, and tail tip, and long, black, curly hair on her head. Her eyes are a dark blue. She has sharp, retractable claws on her fingers, and wears finger-less gloves to accommodate for them.

Personality:
Fargo is a bit of a tomboy, but she is not against showing her more feminine side. She's incredibly shy and socially anxious, but she is not a pushover and will not tolerate anyone's bullshit. She tries to avoid conflict whenever possible, and will mediate between people to the point of being meddlesome. Despite her delicate personality, she is in very good shape.

History
Fargo grew up in a large city, but, due to her reclusive nature, never had many friends and mostly kept to herself. When she was 15 she, her mom, and her younger brother moved to a smaller town where she met Obsidian and Cirrus, who helped her come out of her shell and eventually convinced her to join them on their adventures.

Appearance: Cirrus is an averagely built [3'3" / 100cm] sugar glider with dark cyan fur. He has a long ponytail and two tufts of fur on his forehead, which are a lighter blue than his main fur. The same lighter blue is on his ears, tail, belly, and around his eyes. He has pink eyes and nose, and a fluffy off-white muzzle and inner ear.

Personality:
Cirrus has a tendency to be arrogant and over-dramatic, but he has good intentions and truly wants what he feels is best for himself and for others. Generally he is pretty collected, though he does occasionally loose his cool. He gets very competitive and always wants to be on top, and is a bit of a sore loser. He has a very technical way of thinking and looking at things.

Appearance: Pretty standard chao, but he has a sharp-toothed frown with two distinct fangs which protrude his bottom lip.

Personality:
Melanite is very aggressive and unfriendly. He is also rather spoiled by Obsidian, who basically let's him get away with whatever he wants. Obsidian trains him for racing, which he really enjoys and is fairly good at.
