Spine Suzuki "The Power-Bat"

Appearance: A somewhat tall (Around 5'7") hedgehog with grey fur. His eyes are a almost chocolate brown. He has a small patch of white fur on his chest, but it cannot be seen due to his black hoodie. His hair style is the exact same as Sonic's, albeit a bit smaller. He also has a red stripe that runs down his arm, which is also covered by his hoodie.

He wears thick golden rings around his wrists and ankles. The one on his ankle has a glowing light blue stream circling it. It serves no purpose, but Spine thought it looked cool. He was born wearing gloves for some reason, and he never takes them off. There is a baseball symbol on the back of his right hand that glows light blue when he summons his Soul Bat. His shoes have the design of Silver's, but the shape of Sonic's, because i'm unoriginal like that. He wears a hoodie that he put on when he was little, but is now unable to take off due to the size of his head. He also carries a fake green Chaos Emerald. It serves no purpose, he just believes it to be a good luck charm of sorts.

Personality:
A care-free, ordinary hedgehog. He is almost always in a good mood, even while fighting a losing battle. He tries his hardest to keep the spirits of himself and everyone around him up. He does tend to get a bit to competitive at times, and is known to go into bursts of rage in very serious moments. When in his rage, he will not listen to anybody besides his destructive side. He has a hard time feeling emotions such as sadness and fear. His stale feelings often help him in tough fights such as going against a bigger and stronger opponent, but he often hates how he cannot feel sad in times that call for it.

Combat traits

Powers: His most unique power is his Soul Bat, where he channels his energy to form an unbreakable baseball bat that can hit through over 10 layers of solid stone. He can only wield the bat for a limited time, for if he uses it for too long or summons it too much, he gets what he describes as "The world's worst migraine that not even an entire bottle of Ibuprofen can get rid of."  


Strengths:
- Great arm strength from numerous baseball games
- Decent Speed. Not as fast as Sonic, but faster than Silver
- Can read opponents attack patterns and counter-attack accordingly.
- Can flash his baseball symbol to create a bright light that stuns enemies.

Weaknesses:
- Low stamina. Cannot run for more than 10 minutes without running out of breath
- Attacks in a predictable pattern
- Can be easily tricked at times
- Poor control over powers. He has hit himself in the head with his Soul Bat more than a few times.
- Socially awkward
- Cannot handle anything hot or spicy
- Forgets things very easily

Positive relations
- Gold Butterscotch Candy: A pony Spine met when he was about 7 years old. Spine has always disliked ponies and their culture, but he made an exception for Gold because of how much they had in common. The two have been best friends ever since.
- Speed the Hedgehog: A blue hedgehog Spine met when he was exactly 6 years old. Like Gold, the two had a lot in common and quickly became best friends. The two meet up almost three times a week to do stupid stuff like race on hover-boards and play card games on motorcycles.


Negative relations
- Any skeleton he see's. Nobody knows where this hatred came from, but some say it all started on September 16th, 2015


History

Born in the town of Osaka in Japan while his parents were visiting his grandpa, he spent his first 4 years growing up in Japan, learning about it's culture, language, and their pass times. Born with the symbol of a baseball on his right hand, his grandpa thought of it as a sign and introduced him to baseball, which Spine took a great interest in. After moving to Station Square at the age of 5, he met Speed and Gold Candy who quickly became his best friends. When he turned 12, he started playing little league baseball and showed amazing talent. At 13, he was offered to play in the Major League, making him the youngest hedgehog to play Major League Baseball as far as I'm aware. It was after a game when he was confronted by members of the team he had beaten. They tried to attack him, and it was then his baseball symbol started to glow and the Soul Bat was created. Knowing his new power, he talked his manager into cutting his games down to only playing once every two weeks so he could set off, seeking adventure and something more exciting than baseball!
