All hail the fearless leader
It had started off as somewhat of a routine mission, honestly she hadn't expected them to find anything, let alone to find the man. Thus far chasing finitevus had been like trying to find a ghost. But they all had to agree that after the dissapearance of the entire echidna chapter and albions population Finitevus was a threat that had to be dealt with rather sooner then later. Aurora knew that they had enough trouble without adding that psychopath to the mix.
But everything had gone rather wrong, which in her own opinion was the understatement of the year. Appearantly Finitevus had known they were on the move and had tentilised them closer. And then everything just went to hell. She hoped the others were ok, though she wouldn't be paticularly sorry to lose Bullet. The surly, greedy luietenant and his soul mate Kiara-ne where a constant pain in the backside for her, always second guessing her and trying to get the leadership of what remained of the once proud dark legion.
If she didn't know that they hated Finitevus about as much as they all did she'd be half tempted to think they might have struck a deal with him to get rid of her...
Mary-ka sighed, heaving herself into an upright posture and using the tree she'd been leaning against to get to her feet, lightly clutching her side. Blood seeped through the fabric and onto the fingers of her cybernetic hands. Well wasn't this just a lovely situation to be in. She couldn't exactly do much in a forest, there was nothing for her technomancy to control. Her best hope was to find the rest of the party and make her way back to base.
Her first mission on the field since becoming the new grandmaster of the sorry remnants of the dark legion and she was lost, bleeding and granted; feeling kind of sorry for herself.
She was so not leaving her office again to go traipsing around in the wildnerness.

Re: All hail the fearless leader
This mission turned out so well...or not. Duke was laying in a pile of mud after he tripped. He muttered a few not so nice words before he slowly got up, his cybernetics creaking as he pushed himself up before he stood. "I swear I thought I saw him!" he yelled out loud before he growled. He thought he might have spotted Finitevus and had given chase to whoever it was before he trip on a tree root and went face first into the mud and now was all dirty, great. It probably was one of those tigers from the village again probably and his chase was for nothing.
It was, at least to Duke he felt like it was a lost cause to chase after Finitevus. He didn't see him as much of a threat anymore as he believed Finitevus moved on to better things than to pick on the remains of the echidna population. There wasn't many of them left after the whole Albion incident, there really wasn't much left, what much more could that crazy albino do to them? But either way, he still had to follow orders and what Mary-Ka says, goes. Duke knew it would be very wise to follow her orders, more so that he didn't want to get into anymore trouble than he has been in lately. He shook his head a bit, almost that he wasn't too happy but never the less, was attempting to do his job right for once.
He was very rusty say the least, Duke being gone some months with his tiger friends that were enemies of the legion had made him a bit too soft and too forgiving which all the legionnaires have exploited to no end. Besides being demoted from his Commander rank upon weaseling his way back into the legion, he was constantly question and harassed for his actions. He really didn't blame the others for being that way, they all saw him as a traitor and that was a mark he was not going to get rid of any time soon. Slowly he was going to work his way back to what his life was beforehand.
Duke looked about to see where he was. He was not too far off from the base but because of his chase, was separated from the others. He remained quite and listened for noises, hoping he could hear some of his fellow legionnaires so he could make his way back.
