Appearance:
A mustard colored hawk, with hair that is open and slicks back, on the back of his head are long, thick feathers that extend further down to his shoulders. Ruby red eyes, a little intimidating to those who first meet him. A long tuft of chest-fur...feathers, that cover most of his chest, and wrap around his neck. However it is not visible when he is donning his scarf. He has black tattoos on his arms and legs, featuring patterns similar to that of Jet the Hawk's shoes, the black portions that is. He has leather gloves that cushion anything he may ride or latch onto on his adventures. He has boots dark navy blue with the pattern similar to that of a cyan lightning bolt on it.

Personality:
Surge is a very distant person, and doesn't make a lot of friends. He's a loner for the most part, and the only exception is his chao. He's always felt as if he doesn't belong  and simply different from everyone else. He thinks to himself and acts accordingly. However, he always has had a fondness for chao. And his personal pet  chao is the only one to whom he's tender and caring for. The two are very in-sync and you almost never see one without the other.


Combat traits:
Surge has very powerful legs, and has kicks of mighty fury. Although he can use his fists as well. Mostly for wild jabs and other quick blows. He tends to focus on confusing his opponent with his above average speed and uses dizzying techniques, like.


Strengths:
Seemingly never gets dizzy.
Works well with Talon.

Weaknesses:
Doesn't work well with most others, the obvious exception being Talon.
Not very strong punches.
Lack of strategy that isn't tag-team combo'ing with Talon.

History:
Surge is of Babylonian descent, being a descendant of the once great thieves, the Babylon Rogues. Surge was separated from his parents from birth, being found by a sweet couple. Despite having a rough early start, Surge was happy as a kid. He was always on the move and his surrogate parents had a hard time keeping him indoors. One place he would always visit is the Chao Garden. He tended to the Chao, always by their sides. He was so fond of chao, that he had a hard time making any friends other than them. When he started growing older he started seeing things more clearly. Everywhere he went, he was different. He saw all sorts of different people, places, and things. But he never saw anyone like him or anything that reminded him of himself. He even started to feel awkward around his parents. He knew fully well they weren't his birth parents, and although loving them dearly. He still felt like there was a hole he had to fill. He felt like he had to leave and find it. Thinking hard about it he knew he was going to miss his mother and father and his little buddies. But it had to be done he felt. He was never one for good-byes and he couldn't bring himself to tear his mom and pop apart but telling him he's going to leave. One night he snuck from home, going to the chao garden in the middle of the night. If there was anyone he could give his last condolences too, it'd be the Chao. He knew despite not being able to talk, they'd understand. Since it was night, all the chao were sleeping. He placed the best snacks he could buy with his money beside them all. And on his way out, he stopped at the tug of his socks. It was a small baby chao, no older then 2 months old. In those short 2 months he grew attached to the hawk. The chao didn't want him to leave, and started to tear up. Surge couldn't bear too see the look on his face, and picked him up and simply took him along. From then, Surge began to look for clues as to who he is, where he came from, and why he's here.

Personality:
Talon has grown up with Surge always by his side, therefore much of Surge has rubbed off on him. Not too say that they're exactly the same and like the exact same things. But a large majority, that's for sure.


Combat traits:
Alone, Talon is not a very skilled fighter. However, with his wicked fast flying skills, he's a great asset to have along.
His specialty is surprise divebombs.
