History of the RP: One day at station square, some months after the Chaos Catastrophe, a humongous island rose from the ground and settled just under the clouds, explorers have been sent, but they never came back. Will you go explore the misterious Island, or will you never come back? It´s your choice...

Name: Spirit the Hedgehog
Race: well, she has black fur but she seems more american.
Age: Unknown
Gender: Female
Powers: she can use the powers of darkness, but she doesn't use them much and they aren't reliable.
Weaknesses: full of herself sometimes, and can get caught off guard.  She also has bad aim.
Strong points:  she punches pretty hard,
Abilities:  she can sing and play guitar. 

A black hedgehog glanced at the island once more, wondering if she should check it out. It seemed to have an alluring aura, attracting adventurers from around the world to explore it's depths.

She hesitated, then finally walked towards it, to find a door beneath it, with a sign that said 'enter at your own risk'.  She opened it, and got teleported to a different world-

A world on an island.

Name: Clear.
Race: Hedgehog.
Age: 14.
Gender: Male.
Powers: Ability to use the Chaos Force, can reach high speed for a limited amount of time, is able to turn Super form and has High Acrobatic Skills.
Weaknesess: Low strength, weaker Chaos Force than normal and his super form consumes more rings.
Strong Points: Agility, a lot of stamina, can use the Chaos Force repeatedly and faster and his Super Form increases his agility tremendously.
Abilities: High Jumps, Spindash, can use guns, and has two inhibitor rings, his shoes have hidden jets, good climbing skill.

A dark green hedgehog looked from the window of his hangar in Spagonia to see the status of the floating Island, when he finally stopped looking at it, he finished tinkering with his biplane and opened the hangar's door, he sat on the pilot's seat and blasted of to the unknown island...

[I'll hold off with my opening post until the RP's intro.
In brief:

Name: Jayne Granger
Race: Light Kitsune
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Powers: Photokinesis (light manipulation) and healing.  Possible ability to tap into Chaos energy but strength of power is uncertain so far.
Weaknesses: Lack of recovery (loses balance and focus if hit/distracted), unintentionally lets arrogance seep into her words and actions sometimes.
Strong Points: Excellent stamina, seems to know something about just about everything, is generally nice, owns the violet Chaos Emerald.
Abilities:
- Creation and maintenance of 'hardlight', basically solid light that tends to work for many different uses.
- Manipulation of light in different forms and frequencies.
- Rapid healing of minor injuries that she or others have.
- Capacity to heal most injuries or sicknesses, but at great cost to her own energy (and will need rest).
- Slight ability to bend any part of reality, through the power of the Emerald, but requires a lot of preparation and not being interrupted.
- If pushed far enough to any emotional extreme she'll display unusual abilities related to the emotion.

When the misterious island in the sky appeared, doors and strange stair started to appear around it, biplanes arrived and never apeared again, you could see people opening the doors and planes leaving angars every week and day.
The appearence of the island was strange.
1. A gigant ring made of earth surrounded it.
2. It had a volcano in the exact middle.
3. Waterfalls fell from the island everytime.
4. The half of the island was covered by thick forests and jungles.
5. A mini desert covered a quarter of the island.
6. And finally, a huge lake covered another quarter.

And every day, in the news, there where news of people dissapearing when sent to the island and photos taken by satelite were taken, showing the appearence of the Floating Island.

A name was given to the Island: The Island of Clouds...

Name: Skylar Ferrix
Race: Mobian Fox
Age: 14
Gender: Male
Powers: None
Weaknesses:
-Lacks significant physical strength because of his small size.
-Can be easily disheartened/demoralized due to his timid demeanor.
-Has very little experience fighting elemental/supernatural opponents.
-Tends to be a bit clumsy at times.
Strong Points:
-Excels in mechanical engineering, and can repair just about anything using only the most basic materials.
-He is a very practiced marksman, but very rarely resorts to the use of firearms.
-Able to take massive amounts of punishment, thanks to his salvaged combat gear.
Abilities:
-Skylar has mastered the art of stealth, though his clumsiness can sometimes inhibit this ability.
-He has an excellent sense of hearing.
-Although he is overall a slow runner, he has very quick combat reflexes.


It had been here for weeks, eerily hovering among the distant clouds. What scientific explanation is behind the phenomenon? Skylar was sure he wasn't the only one wondering that. From what he was able to pick up on his improvised radio, a significant amount of people have already gone missing in pursuit of some answers. What could possibly be up there? The curiosity was killing him.
Skylar shook his head and stepped away from the loft window. He was daydreaming about it again. Ever since it appeared, Skylar had found himself spending large spans of time pondering about that island, and how he would go about exploring it if he had the means...

Name: Hënë
Race: Manul
Age: 21
Powers: Her sword can absorb some fire and electrical attacks and use them to attack back at an opponent. Can also glide around with her fold-able glider on her back.
Weakness: Being underground in caves and caverns.
Strong Points: High Agility, good with locks, Expert swords woman, quiet fast. 
Abilities: Spin Slash, Parry Swipe, Slash'n'Dash, Glint Slash, Rash Scar, Burn Blocker, Wave Burner, Volt Guard, Zap Trust, Spin Saw, Rigging Boot, Planker, Face Planter, Cliff Diver Charge, Wall Runner, Cloak Toss.

With G.U.N. solders hot on her heels, Hënë raced down through the G.U.N. Base. How they managed to catch her was no less shocking then her attempt to escape. Having retrived her sword she pass down one hallway to see it was a dead end. She let off a snarl before noticing a door with a do not enter sign and dove for it's handle only to find herself on the island with no door behind her or anywhere at all.

"Fiat lũx," murmured a soft, clear feminine voice.  A glowing silver orb appeared over the right forepaw of a similarly silver five-tailed fox.  Her other paw grasped the handle of a sword glowing in more muted gray tones.  "...hm..."  Nodding to herself briefly, the vixen surveyed the dense forest surrounding her.

A message from Guardian HQ had indicated that the exploration of this unusual island was necessary, but the gray-white kitsune thought nothing unusual about it.  Angel Island had a large gemstone powering its flotation; why would this floating island have much different of a source?  A twitch of paw, a click of claws, and the light went out as her ice-blue eyes began glowing an unearthly electric blue, visible easily even in shade.  One glance at a compass hooked onto her shorts, and she set out at a brisk pace for the center of the island.

A biplane flew over the clouds while the GPS on Clear's biplane, the Hurricane, started showing the outline of the ring surrounding the island, and when the dot that represented the Hurricane got closer and closer to the island, and when the dot touched it, the screen of the GPS turned off suddenly and the controls gone all haywire and didn't respond to his commands.
¨What the-?! The controls are responding! I'm going to crash!!¨ Clear said, while he pulled the wheel to himself to turn, failing on the attempt.
He closed his eyes waiting for the impact. The crash was a complete disaster, the Hurricane was a huge wreck, the wings were split, the controls sent sparks all over the plase and the propeller fell off. The state of the biplane was pathetic.
He sighed, and turned around to see a bridge to the south of his position.
Determined to keep going, he spindashed in the direction of the bridge...

The sound of the crash did not go unnoticed. Hënë turned and raced towards the sound. She could see a bridge in the direction she headed.

'What is going on here?' she thought as she crossed the bridge, 'Where is this...'

Her thought was interupted as she suddenly saw a dark green ball headed her way and dove out of it's way into a thorn bush.

The black hedgehog had landed in some kind of desert.  'Where am I?'  She thought.  She quickly put her hood up, then realized:  no one was there.  

It was a desert after all, it was pretty hot.  She unzipped her jacket, and held it in her arms.  Coughing, she wished that the desert wasn't so unforgiving.  She hadn't really drank anything, and now her throat was as dry as a desert.

She chuckled to herself at the ironic simile she had just made, because she was in a desert.  She turned her head and saw the outline of trees on the horizon.  She decided to head that way.

With a sigh of apathy, Skylar listlessly plopped onto his cot and began to dwell. He wanted to know so badly what was on that island, but his judgement knew it was a bad idea. It had to have been something significant, especially if people were still insisting on its exploration after all of the disappearances.
"Even if there turns out to be nothing, maybe I could help find those missing explorers.", he thought to himself. 
He shook his head and sat up. "Ugh, even if this was a safe idea..." He murmured to himself, turning towards the window. "...It's not exactly like I can just flap my arms and fly up there-" His thought was interrupted by the sound of a passing plane. This was nothing new; planes had been flying to the island ever since it appeared. He briskly walked back over to the window and peered upwards into the sky at the passing plane. It flew low enough for Skylar to make out the word "Hurricane" painted on the side of its fuselage. The aircraft tore across the sky in the direction of the island, and was soon a distant spec on the horizon.
His eyes widened as the idea hit him; He would stow away on one of the research planes.
The young fox instantly began to gather up and put on his equipment, then headed out the door towards town.

(For the sake of catching up to everyone else, my next post will skip ahead to after Skylar stows away on a research plane and lands on the island.)

Slashing through the dense growth via the shortsword, the vixen growled softly.  "...stupid adventuring clichés..."  Her frustration, however, carried her for several minutes more and back out into light.  Squinting, she took another look around, to the new surroundings.

The grass didn't look much greener, but the cover of trees was gone...a road appeared in the distance, towards the horizon, and where it met an obstacle...a bridge, it looked like.  Since it would probably be the easiest method through, the silver kitsune headed for the bridge.

Clear rushed through the ring in the direction of the bridge, he jumped over obstacles as everything around him looked like a blur, when he finally got to the bridge and got through it he noted the change in the atmosphere, trees with different types of leaves and fruit, and animals like deers running everywhere, everything making a beautifull combination of diferent colours.

After some time, the sky was getting darker and the sounds of animals was replaced by the sound of leaves moving with the breeze, and the temperature getting colder, that's when Clear decided to take a nap in a nearby tree.

He stopped running and quietly sat down next to a tree and closed his eyes.

Hënë crawled out of the brush with thorns over her body. One by one, she started to pluck them out of her body and her clothing before she spotted the silver kitsune approching.

Unsure if the green ball was another person or an attack, Hënë got to her feet slowly and put one hand on the bony hilt of her sword.

After lots of walking, she had finally made it to the forest, and found herself next to a bridge with 2, no 3 other people.  One of then seemed to be getting out a sword, another beside a tree, and yet another calmy walking toward them.

She sighed.  She was never exactly happy with company, and would have wanted to be lost on a floating island by herself, not with others.  She opened her mouth to say something, then decided against it.  She would let someone else start it off.

The flight had been a bumpy one, the landing even more so, but comfort was the last thing Skylar was expecting from stowing away in a baggage compartment. Once he was certain the plane had come to a stop, he crept out of the underbelly of the aircraft and took a look around. "Hmm... I guess I made it.", He muttered upon seeing the researchers' campsite next to the runway.

He was unsure how researchers would react to a stowaway, but he chose not to find out. As soon as he was sure no one was looking his way, he sprinted across the dirt runway and into the jungle. He slowed his pace once he was at a safe distance, making sure to stay vigilant as he walked through the thick vegetation. He didn't know what was snatching up all those people, but he was determined to avoid the same fate.

As she drew nearer the bridge, the vixen turned her attention to the group surrounding.  '...hm...'  Rather motley looking group, and if her intuition was any good for adventuring (which, of course, it was) more were en route. 

Icy blue eyes and kitsune senses looking over the crew assembled thus far, she sized up each one.  '...hedgehog, athletic, couple years younger than me, powers Chaos-related...feline, looks about as confident with her sword as I would with mine, and it doesn't seem like any normal blade...another hedgehog, at least she's up and around, although her aura is of darkness...'  Since there was so much silence thus far, the silver kitsune grinned and waved to everyone else around.  "Hiya!"

Name: Zetski
Race: Cheetah
Age: 15
Gender: Male
Powers: Electricity
Strong Points: Extremely agile, and absorbs electricity and is able to send it back. Resistant against stun traps. Is near mastery of mechanics, having all sorts of gadgets to help him, including his portable motorcycle, hang glider, and a scuba mask.
Weakpoints: More of a special attacker than physical, so his defense is low to counteract with his speed. He is still in the process of making his own armor, so when he has it his speed will be reduced but defense boosted.
Abilities: He can turn any material into a useful gadget for him to use, but the larger it is the longer it takes to make it.

Zetski had just finished the last part of his renovated portable motorcycle. Looking out the window, he noticed the floating island that there had been rumors about. "So that's the island everybody is talking about?" He pondered about going to visit there, pacing in his laboratory. He turned to his vehicle. "Well, it gives me an opportunity to test this out..." He sat on the smooth seat of the motorcycle. "Teleport coordinates 100Y" he stated. He and the motorcycle then became enveloped in white light and started to dissolve into plasma, then moving through the ceiling.

Hënë looked at the kitsune and could spot that she herself did not attack her moments before and removed her hand from her sword.

"Humph!" she snorted, "Who might you be and where is this place?"

It was only then she noticed the black hedgehog coming on her flank. She sent a dark glare towards her as she waited for a responce.

(KK don't forget about posting order, we don't want to leave clash in the dust!)

When he noticed how many people where around him, his mind, heart and soul shouted 'DANGER!'. Deciding to trust them, he summoned his Chaos Lances (weaker versions of Chaos Spear), each of them pointing at his targets' heads. But, when the kitsune randomly exclaimed 'Hiya!'. He couldn't help but laugh and lose his concentration, and thus disolving his Lances, leaving an opening, but when he regained his concentration, he re-summoned his Lances and this time, made them appear over his targets.

(I shall just go because Kk already went)

Spirit looked at the feline and rolled her eyes.  "You mean you didn't notice when you walked onto a floating island?"  She looked at all three of them, the friendly kitsune, the guarded feline, and the hedgehog who was....

Now aiming lances at all of them?

Spirit smirked and pulled out a gun, aiming it at the hedgehog's head.  "Seriously man?  Did it look like we were going to hurt you?"  She sighed and put the gun down, realizing how stupid that must sound.  "Anyway, I'm Spirit."  She folded her arms and waited for any of them to respond.

Zetski looked pretty calm, despire the fact that he was sitting on his motorcycle... falling from sky at least. He pressed a button on the side of the seat. and jet wings sprouted from the wheels. He reved up the motorcycle, and blasted off towards the island down below.

He started to think about what he might encounter.
I'm glad I brought my stuff with me, I'm not sure if anyone there will kill me on first instinct, if even anyone is alive there...


None the less, he continued his descent towards the floating island. But now he wish he had Tyson and the others to watch his back...

The jungle had become more and more unmanageable with every step Skylar took forward. He was becoming quite frustrated with the tangles of vines and hordes of mosquitoes, until a subtle anomaly caught his eye; a path of hacked-up vegetation. Someone had been though here recently.

He followed this new-found path. He was unsure if who or what had made it was of any relevance to the secrets of this island, but a clue was a clue.

It did not take long before his finely-tuned hearing began to pick up voices. He approached the edge of the jungle, remaining concealed. He could see a bridge in the distance, and a handful of figures standing near it. There looked to be somewhat of a stand-off between them. He observed the situation further before making any judgement calls.
