i cant think of a setting. :I you wanna decide?

It was an early afternoon of a midsummer day. A sky blue wolfbat utilized his formidable, cobalt blue bat wings to traverse the vast skies. He occasionally gave them a flap to keep his altitude leveled. He flew above a seemingly infinite grassland. The grass swayed like an endless wave of green as the cool air flowed, bringing a fresh and crisp scent to the hybrid's keen nostrils.

This was Twilight the Lycalo's daily routine for the last 2 and a half years. Not only did this keep his wings strong like they were, but it represented his freedom. Every single night he would be cooped up like an animal in a cage, deathly worried the Nightmare would return. Had it not been for his discovery two years ago, that monster’s rampage would have no end. But now was the time he was free, to travel the world as his heart pleased. The wind brushing past his face refreshed him and kept his mind clear. Feeling the Sun's rays filled his body with warmth and comfort.

Beside him was a small gray creature with a colorful assortment of colors across his body. His large cyan and green wings helped him stay beside the wolfbat. Champ the Chao was recently found by Twilight after his previous owner abandoned him. The tiny creature had just met the end of his life cycle just a week ago and thanks to the love of his new owner, he was able to reincarnate. Now he lived a happy life with Twilight and couldn't be happier.

They had been flying for an hour and a half now and the Chao's wings began to ache. The Lycalo was aware of this and his golden eyes scanned the ground to search for a place to rest. A lone tree caught his attention and he swooped down with Champ following close behind. He landed with a roll and proceeded to lay down in the shade. His body was completely sprawled out. His wings, arms and legs were fully outstretched and his long shaggy wolf tail rested to his side to prevent him from lying fully on it. He laced his fingers behind his head and sighed deeply, sinking into the grass. Champ made his landing right after and found a seat atop the hybrid's chest, his curious eyes watching the endless scenery.

Breeze was Darting through the forest, Feeling the warm air hit her as she ran. Without even noticing The wolfbat and chao, She Darted right past them, a small being darting behind it.

Breeze had caught the Lycalo off guard and on instinct to defend himself, he jumped up to his feet into a slightly crouched position. In his right palm was now an orb of shadowy dark purple energy he had formed.

"Who's there!?" He demanded, scanning the area with his eyes, ears and nose. While Twilight was normally calm and relaxed, he was wary about mysterious figures who catch him off guard. Some know of the curse he attempts to keep hidden and the hybrid had had too many encounters with various monster hunters. Truth be told, he was scared at the moment and was trying not to find himself in a confrontation.

Champ too was caught off guard by his owner's abrupt movement and was flung into the air, spinning uncontrollably in the air before using his wings to regain his composure. The Chao remained airborne curious as to what was happening.

Breeze skidded to a stop. She was wearing a black hood, making herself look suspicious. ''n-no one..'' a timid voice spoke from behind the hood.

Twilight eyed the fox curiously. He realized she wasn't a threat based on the tone of her voice. He stood upright and the dark purple orb vanished.

"Hey, sorry if I scared you. You kinda scared me." He said with a chuckle. He found himself vuagely recognizing her scent. "This may seem weird, but I think I've met you somewhere." He told her.

''heh, its ok...'' breeze said, taking off her hood. ''i hardly recognise you, though..''

Twilight's eyes narrowed somewhat at Breeze and stroked his chin as if he was in deep thought.

"Yeah, I've definately met you before. You smell familar... sorry if that sounds weird." he said, sounding slightly embarrased on how strange that sounded.

Breeze giggled slightly. ''its fine.'' She said, smiling.



A chao popped its head out behind breeze. the chao looked around, before seeing champ. The chao suddenly squealed and tackle hugged champ.

''...uh.'' breeze blinked.

Champ had seen the other Chao as well and had the same idea in mind. As such, he flew over to the Chao and attempted his own tackle hug, locking them in a battle of glomps.

Twilight laughed at the sight, holding his yellow gloved hand over his mouth to prevent being too loud.

"Okay, no that's hilarious." The Lycalo said once he collected himself.

Breeze giggled, watching the two chaos. ''my name is Breeze, by the way.'' She looked towards her chao. ''and thats ruby.'' 

the Chao continued attempting to glomp Champ.

(btw, Ruby is a light blue chao with red wings instead of white)

(Interesting. Champ looks exactly like this lol)


"Breeze huh? That name sounds familiar. I've definitely met you before. Champ seems to recognize you too." Twilight replied.

Champ began flapping his wings even more, in attempts to overpower the Chao.
