Falcon Square, a massive city in the centre of a paradise. Eggman hasn't struck in months, and the large area is free of all harm. Posters are spread all over the place, and a few of them have pictures of the blue blur on them, as you'd expect. And many of them told about something... The tallest of skyscrapers ever seen, soaring into the heavens almost. A beautiful river going underneath the giant metallic bridge leading from one half to the other. Many things existed within this city... including one large structure with a portal within it. It took you to a zone called "The Arena" which basically pit out the best into a large, 100 level area, which had portals in between them. Doors led into the areas, and there were many options. Legend says that there are actually 200 fighting arenas to battle in, all full to the brim with droids to test your strength, speed, etc.

Many people have went inside and came back with extreme wounds. They were lucky to even have made it out.

However, the prize you win now for conquering the arena has became extreme. 10,000 rings and you also replace Sonic on the biggest poster in the city. Talk about fame. You're also immediately deemed the best warrior upon defeating those before you. In the end, you're pitted against your allies, to see who truly is the top person.

Forms: (If any) Atomic Hog. He becomes white furred and immune to fire damage, also able to do incredible things he could never do before with his ability.

Powers: Supposed Psychic; Agile and sneaky; Manipulative of both surroundings and, to some extent, of others.
Weaknesses: In a situation such as this, she will need time to think things through before taking any serious actions against her opponents. To have that precious time to think, it's probable that she will do a lot of running or hiding. Due to lack of cover, if she's hit with a weapon capable enough of doing serious damage, that's exactly what she'll take. Ranged weapons with fast fire are also a danger.

POWERS: Can open rifts in space to different places, or a random place if he's not careful.
WEAKNESS: Claustrophobic, cannot fight hand to hand, physically weak.

Weaknesses: Large target in combat, somewhat slow attacks, limited to close to mid ranged combat, Humility (prominent weakness)

Name: Duxenkreig 'Dux' Bellanum
Age: 21
Species: Cat
Powers: Telekinesis. As well as that, he has a massive resistance to pain and slight regenerative abilities if the wound is very minor (for example, a small cut would heal faster, and a slice to the throat would not). Not powers, but he is loaded with weapons to strike with; both hands have long, bladed gauntlets for hand-to-hand and he wields two curved swords at his hip. Two grenades are attached to his belt for emergencies or shoving down people's throats.
Weaknesses: Just because he has resistance doesn't mean his body doesn't take damage. Attacks will still cause harm, he simply just won't show it until he's dead. On top of that, Dux wears very light armor - leather - and while it makes him quick on his feet, if a hit lands it'll hit hard due to his lack of defenses. His only range are his grenades and levitating his swords towards opponents - thus he's kinda really bad at ranged combat and likes to get up close and personal.

Powers: He has the power to teleport, he uses this to his advantage during combat, teleporting to catch his enemy completely off guard,he is also a knife nut, carrying a Bowie Knife for use in melee combat, and has 5 smaller ones for throwing at his enemy.
Weaknesses: His fighting style is completely reckless and fully offensive, leaving him open to many attacks that could easily be blocked or dodged.

"And so, we begin the super awesome contest. Welcome to the 26th 'Arena' contest, where a bunch of random people who think they can have a shot at winning the ultimate prize of 10,000 rings, and replacing Sonic on the big boards in the city."
Tap tap tap on the desk as the announcer spoke into the microphone.

"Can't believe I agreed to this." An irritated mutter over the microphone was audible.

"Anyway, our contestants... Or victims as I like to call them are pitted up against a massive array of battle bots, with parts salvaged from Doctor Egghead's machines. Yeah, it's pretty darn tough."

The crowd cheered as the unknown figure spoke into the microphone, his voice distorted by some software, grinning slightly.

"The goal of the arena is to fight all the way through the arena, and destroy all of the robots that lurk within to progress. How simple can ya get?" Drumming getting louder... "And once you've all made it through, you fight eachother until there's only one of you left standing. How fun, huh? The winner goes on to claim the title as best warrior of Falcon Square! ...That's implying that they'll get through doorway 50."

"For the record: only one person has ever made it through the arena in one piece, and that's Sonic T. Hedgehog! What a surprise~"
Pressing a button, before suddenly a hissing sound was heard as steam rose from the ground followed by the creak of metal doors sliding open, revealing a large circular portal.

"Since everyone's signed up and ready to go, let's meet this years competitors..." The portal lifted up and stopped, not currently activated of course.

And so, the spotlights turned on one by one, showing the competitors in sign up order.

Ornias stood tall, looking around. He knew that this place would be packed, but it still made him slightly nervous. He had heard a small bit about his 'allies' and they sounded alright. He grinned as the light revealed him, and took a step forward, caught in the attention of the crowd, before stepping back and awaiting the start of the competition.

Hënë blew a kiss to the crowd when the spotlight was on her. Her eyes almost twinkled in the light before she stepped back.

As the spotlight gleamed on Tharros, the mystical hybrid remained calm and collected, his arms crossed and giving a few occasional nods of his head. His long and slim brown furred tail swayed side to side which coiled itself around the warrior's 4 edged halberd. The roar of the crowd brought much anticipation however and the Griffin was urging to begin this tournament. All he did now was was wait patiently for things to get underway.
