"Used to be called weak, but she gave me back my strength"

"I mean.. He will suffer the consequences. Under my hands. But i took care of the injuries, he should just wake up so i can feed him. I got some fried chicken and pep pizza in the kitchen."


She replied to him normally. She then looked at Infinite again, just watching curiously to see if he's gonna wake up sooner or not.

Before Silver can say anything, a groan can be heard as the jackal is slowly coming to. He tries to sit up but he hisses from the sharp pain in his back and chest.

Kory goes to the kitchen in the moment he begins waking up and comes back with a plate with the friend chicken and peperoni pizza she mentioned.

"Hey Infinite.. How are ya feelin boy?"


She asks while trying to lift up a comforting smile.

He turns his head to face her. "Like shit".                      Infinites only eye stares at the food obviously starving.

"Have this, then. It'll help you get some of yer strength back."

She calmly gave the plate to him. Silver on the other hand was confused to why she was helping both of them, but especially, why she was helping Infinite of all people.

"You wanna eat too, Silver?" She asked him.

"... Yes please." He replied, a little bit embarrassed. So she grabbed another plate, put all the food on it and gave it to him.

Fighting back the pain Infinite sits up and after the it goes away; he starts to wolf down his food not having eaten anything good in days. If he wasn't so hungry and thought about it, he hadn't had anything like this since he worked for Eggman.

"See? Told you he was hungry." She laughed. Silver just sighed and began eating his food. 
She sat down in between them on the couch and laid back with her arms crossed. 

"So! .. Yall got any plains?" She asked like this situation was totally normal.

The jackal still eating looks at Silver. "Probably be executed by the Resistance. "You got anything to drink girl?", he asks Kory.

"I got jui-"

"Are you seriously just acting like this is just a game?!" Silver interrupted her in frustration as he puts his plate aside and gets up from the couch.

"You're literally helping a monster, Kor! I don't understand how you're capable of doing this after everything you've seen him do! Like what the hell is wrong with you?!?"


Kory just looked at him with a slightly surprised face. She takes a deep breath and tried to speak.

"Look, Sil.. I understand that you're mad about Infi here but uhm.. I'm not going back on what i'm doing. I already dug my grave at this point i cannot go back y'know. I'm basically just helping him because i can and honestly? Something tells me that even if my help doesn't make him change completely, it'll probably help a little bit on that. I feel like it."

Infinite stops eating as the tension grows. "Look girl I'm already dead now that I've been found. You don't want to get involved any further. I told you that when you stopped me from stealing". He looks at Silver. "What fate will I expect from your group"?

".. I want to make this fair. But first, let me see how the ruby is."

"Wha- FAIR?! KORY WHAT-"

She quickly shushes Silver before he could finish his sentence while trying to take a closer look at the Phantom Ruby.

Infinite's instincts tell him to recoil from any possible attack and so he does. The action shoots pain in his back and he drops the food while yelping in pain.  "I overdid it once before, but this pain is new. What's wrong with me?" he asks them clearly frightened.

Kory starts cleaning the food off the floor carefully while still trying to inspect it.

"From what i can see, it got some scratches and cracks on it already so this might be what has been causing the pain. And now that i mentioned it, i think i got an idea."


"And what is it?" Silver asked, still annoyed.

She got up with a confident look while looking at the boys and smiled.

"We gon' pick that gem off his chest."

"No, we are not doing that! I need this Ruby", he yells defensively as he tries to use his hands to protect it. "It's part of me now".

"I think Kory is in the right here.. Somehow, i can see that if the gem stays there it will only cause more harm than good for both you and others." Silver replied while crossing his arms.

Kory nodded as she finished cleaning up the mess.

"Ah mean, we don't even know if there's a way to fix it right? Unless you know somethn'." She raised an eyebrow while smiling.

"I was asleep when the Doctor installed the Ruby. It took some time before my body accepted it. Spent most of that time in a tank healing. I think it would be most unwise to simply just yank it out".                                                   

"Exactly, boy!! Gotta find a way to pull it out without givin' yer body the wackin'! But how...? Does anyone know something or someone who knows about thi--" Just as Kory was about to finish her question, someone knocked on the front door of her apartment. Kory already became super nervous about this.

"(OH SHIT-- I THINK IT'S LOLLA.)" She whispered in panic while butting her hands on her head.

"Who's Lolla?" Silver asked.

"(Mah sis.. I don't know why but she got here tonight, y'all gotta hide!!)"  She replied as she turned around to look at them.

Getting up the jackal approaches a window to use to leave. "It's been an experience, but I have a burrow to get back too".

"Oh hell naw where'd you think you're goin?!" She started following him right away as Silver already took control of Infinite's body with his telekinesis. But just as they were trying to solve things, the door is unlocked and there she was just going through the door.. Lolla.

"Hi Kor i started hearing some noises and i--" The other goat woman stopped her speech as she gets spooked by the sight she's seeing. At this point, she's just trying to understand what the hell is going on now as she looks at everyone in silenced surprise.

[Lolla is almost the same thing as Kory but her hair is tied and she actually wears more clothes than just boots and gloves. She wears a white dress with blue spots, detail lines on the tips and a blue gem on the collar. Her gloves are white and her shoes are also black. Infinites eye darts between everyone as his heart starts to beat faster from panic. He regrets going in town today. "Uh...Hi"? 

Lolla takes some time to process this information, and then she already expresses her anger at Kory by putting her arms on her hips and looking at her with a stern look.

"Kory.. Explain." She said as she tapped her foot on the floor.
Kory laughs nervously from seeing that she might be in quite some trouble.

And so, more time was put into explaining what was happening to Lolla with all details included. Lolla did express that she was disappointed but after all of this.. She was willing to help. Now she's just talking to all of them in the living room.

"So let me get this straight. You saw Infinite trying to steel apples at Green Rings and tried to stop him, and since you noticed that he was having trouble you decided to help him out. But then Silver came and fought against him until they both got knocked out and now you're planning to extract the Phantom Ruby out of his chest?" She asked.

"Yep." Kory replied while trying to remain calm.

"... Kory, i swear to Chaos.. What were you even thinking?! This is worse than the time you told me to run away from the house that night!" She tried not to yell.

"Lala please.. Not in front of the guests." She looks away in embarrassment.

Infinite avoids eye contact as he drinks some water he got before he sat down. Too many eyes are looking at him and he doesn't like the attention. "Silver...what fate should I expect to receive from the Resistance?" He asks hesitantly

"Honestly that is not under my rules but under Sonic's rules. I would be more than glad to bring you there but i don't think Kory will let me." He replied.

"That's right, Silver boy, ah won't." Kory smiles confidently.

"KORY!!" Lolla yelled.

"Ah got a plan alright?! We don't have to involve others innit! We just gotta take the Phanthom Ruby out of this man's chest and he'll be harmless!" She replied to Lolla as she smiled more. Her confidence of this plan only grew more and more.

"Kory how could you be so ignorant? This isn't the easiest thing in the world to do. We're talking about a gem that has the concept of reality under its control! How in Mobius will you even do that?!" Lolla angrily replied.

"Harmless? You think that without this Ruby I won't be a threat anymore?"  He asks getting worked up. "I am Strong....I'M NOT WEAK"! he yells as his powers activate.

"... I didn't say you were weak. I said you're a threat for now."
She replied to him with a sharp look on her eyes. She crosses her arms as she also gets up and looks at him.

"Just because you're not a threat doesn't mean you're weak. You were never weak. Whoever told that to you was wrong.. But having a gem under your control doesn't mean you're stronger either, it just means that you have control over what goes and what doesn't. That's not being strong, that's just hiding behind what you have and not using what you can actually do."
She calmly lands a hand on his shoulder.
