"Used to be called weak, but she gave me back my strength"

"Kory, are you ok?! What happened?" he says rushing to her

... She stops responding when he asks it, and flops on the floor like a dead corpse, but she's still alive and breathing.. But she isn't the only one in the room who's breathing.

"If anyone is hiding come out now and face me cowards" he says trying to be brave but frightened. He powers up his fire whisp in hope of getting some light.

He could see something.. The eyes..... Those damned eyes of his just glowing in the dark. Sonic has a serious and calm look on his face as he approaches in the darkness. He looks at Rookie dead in the eyes.

".. Hello Rookie."

He chuckled softly and let out a calm smile.

"If i was one of Infinite's clones i wouldn't be talking would i..? Now tell me, what are you doing here?"  He said as he dropped his smile. His last question was more firm, like he demanded an answer without showing his demand.

"She needed help. what did you do to her"?!, he yells back aiming his whisp with shaking hands.

".. Aw, you won't fire that on me will you? After everything i've done for you, no.. After everything we done for you.. You want to attack me like that? Your own commander? Breaks my heart."

He approaches.

"Please Sonic this isn't you. Let's go back and get you looked at. Something is wrong here", he pleads as he takes a step back

"You look so adorable when you're scared, Rookie.. I like it. But nonetheless, i gotta do what i gotta do..! You attracted too much attention in too little time.. The people don't deserve to know, not right now."

He keeps approaching. Step after step in a slow pace.

"Oh you silly, silly wolf... Didn't you notice..?.."

A flop could be heard on the floor.. It sounded meaty and wet... When you least know it..


Tails' corpse is just a skeleton covered in few pieces of flesh as the blood keeps spewing out.


".. Tails is not with us anymore."


After he said that, the cracking of bones can be heard from his body, as it grows and stretches arms, legs and even his neck as his head stands in the darkness of the room with only his eyes left glowing in the sudden silence.

"Oh fuck", is all he can say before firing his whisp in an effort to live

He quickly grabs the shot like it was just a ball, and looked at it for a moment.

".. Ever wondered why we had so many cages?... Let me show you."

He turned the glowing shot to the cage near him and inside was another skeleton. And the glowing light made other skeletons be visible where the light touched.

"Many others have faced this fate.. Why am i telling you this?.. Because i know you won't last long to tell the others. It's obvious."

The rookie tries to say something but it's all too much and he passes out from fright.

"... Just like how i said. I'll let the others feast on you this time.. As for you little goat, i'll leave you to the end, but i won't let you leave just yet.~"

He said maliciously as he held Kory's unconscious body like a plushie.

A long time passed, and it was time for him to wake up. 'Rookie' could be heard coming into the nursery after all of that and he walks up to Infinite with a serious look on his face.

"Hey, wake up. It's almost time and you still gotta take a bath."  He said in a sorta whispery annoyed tone.

"Alright child let's get this over with", Infinite says as he holds out his cuffed hand

He releases him from the cuffs on the bed and puts on him normal cuffs after it. His staring felt robotic as he lead him to the bathrooms of the base.

Infinite is too interested in bathing then to notice."I had baths in ponds for the last few years. This is a welcomed luxury"

"And the last you'll ever have. Remember this." He says as he walks away not saying anything else. 

After a long while of bathing, it was finally time for the trial. Everyone was there, and 'Sonic' was on top of a pedestal to be the judge. Kory was set to sit besides Infinite for the trial.. But she wasn't unresponsive. Her eyes were a grayed out version of the bright amethyst purple they used to be, and she was as quiet as a rock. Completely silent, and staring at the nothing.

Everyone was dressing formally for this trial.. For some reason. Even Infinite. The cameras were all around the corners of the roof, and even some tvs were on the walls, displaying everything that was happening.

"Ladies and gentlemen, it's time to start this trial! Today, we're solving the case of Infinite's crimes as he came back again."

The crowd around them all clapped in joy... Empty joy.

Infinite who is not used to wearing a suit looks around. He slowly raises his hand to ask Sonic something

"What is it, Infinite? You only get this one chance to ask any question."

He says with a calm smile. His eyes were still glowing. Everyone was looking at him and waiting for his question.

"I have a lot to ask but"..., he looks around again "Where is my lawyer? Even you must know the importance of equality in court cases".

"Oh don't worry, he's just on his way." Sonic smiled more.

Slow steps can be heard from behind him. Crossed arms, formal white suit, here comes his lawyer.. 'Tails' The Fox. He seemed happy to be there despite everything.. Too quietly happy.

Infinite is a bit relieved. He had read the files of these characters and he knows Tails is a smart kid.  "I have no further questions".
