I figured you would want to talk about those friends of yours I killed or gloat about your victory". He moves the covers back over him enjoying the bed. "Make yourself useful and get me more water like a good solider. Your good at obeying orders like a mindless drone child'.

He scoffed... But when he looked around he noticed that the door to the nursery was left open, and right in the middle of the hallway, Knuckles was talking to someone. But when Knuckles looked at Rookie, he looked at him with a sharp and unnerving smirk which made Rookie quietly gasp in both surprise and fear.

He's lost in thought while also looking at Knuckles in the eyes, who's still staring at him with a sharp look. Eventually he stops staring and leaves the hallway as Rookie feels safer to go away, and so he does.

And so he was taken to his dreams and as his consciousness faded...
He could hear one last thing, a faint scream of terror. It sounded Like Kory's voice but nothing was clear.. After that scream, only silence ensued.

And then he found Kory in a very darkened room of the base filled with cages that only made whatever that was inside of them invisible because of the shadows. She was on the ground and covering her head while sobbing uncontrollably and shivering in what seemed like fear.
