Beginning of a Journey

"Probably." he replies, "Not gonna give you a chance to figure out where."

He looks up at her and smiles slightly.

"Ready to fly? Or at least fall?" he asks.

Reena paused in her planned assault on his face. She was grinning and seemed to be having fun, at least. A glance back over her shoulder and then she looked back at Wolf.

"Depends. You're not just gonna jump on me and start tickling me more, are you?" she asked.

"Maybe. I haven't decided yet." he replies, "But... here you go."

He then quickly tosses her up into the air so that she would drop down onto the open middle of the bed.

The Klee Kai's eyes widened even farther and she gasped as Wolf gave her a toss. She squeaked once in the air, followed by a little, "Oof!" as she landed front-down on the bed and bounced a couple of times on the soft mattress. She let go of her pillow while in the air, as well, letting it drop off to one side.

"So rude!" she laughed out as she wasted little time in pushing herself up onto her paws and knees and looking toward Wolf.

By the time Reena had pushed herself back up, Wolf had retrieved both of his pillows from the foot of the bed. He smiles at Reena as he claps the pillows in front of him.

Her ears perked up and she grinned. "Bring it!" she dared, turning slightly to grab the last pillow still at the head of the bed. She stayed up on her knees as she turned to face Wolf, wielding the one pillow readily.

Wolf moves to the edge of the bed and begins to thrust his paws towards Reena in an alternating pattern, making light and quick strikes at her.

Reena held her pillow up in front of her and was trying to do her best to block the hits at first. After a few hits, though, she closed one eye and partially turned her face away, starting to rapidly and randomly swing her pillow back at Wolf.

Wolf just kept hitting his pillows against Reena's as she swung at him.

"So, have you had enough yet?" he asks, "Or should I really get going?"

Although she was breathing faster by this point from all the laughter and activity, she kept on in this 'fight', if one could really call it that. In response to his question, she grinned at Wolf.
"Well! You gonna use this bed I'm payin' for? Or nah?"

"I've used it as a place for you to land and I've used the pillows against you." he replies.

He eases up on his attacks and backs up a step from the bed.

Reena kept right after him, moving forward to keep swinging her pillow at the wolf as he moved back a little.
"You know! What! I mean!" she pointed out, "And besides! Those aren't the things I had in mind! When I was thinking of what you'd use the bed for with me!"
She emphasized her last word with a harder swing of her pillow. A smirk spread out across her muzzle as she was mostly just looking to see if he might react to what she'd implied.

Wolf guards himself against Reena's swings, but her last swing staggers him slightly from the force behind it. He glances at her for a couple of moments.

"What? You don't want to be lonely when you sleep?" he asks, "It's not like I'll be that far away from you."

Well, it wasn't quite the reaction she had hoped for, but she allowed Wolf (and herself) a breather as she paused. She grinned.
"I'm never lonely when I sleep," Reena replied, "I just like arguing and giving you a hard time."

"Clearly." Wolf replies.

He then steps forward and makes a couple of quick thrusts at her with his pillows again.

"Eep!"
Reena raised her pillow to sloppily block the attack.
"Still not changing your mind, huh?" she asked as she peeked from behind her pillow, "Even though such a soft, cushy bed would be soooo much better than sitting on the floooor~!"

He eases back from his attacks, pausing for a moment as he considers her statement. He keeps his guard up though.

"I... have my reasons." he replies.

"Are you gonna shaaare your reasons?" she asked, lowering her pillow a little more. "You claim you're not shy so what else could it be?"

"Maybe when this has been resolved." he replies, swinging a pillow towards Reena from one side and then following with a swing from the other side a few moments later.

The dog squeaked and raised up her pillow in front of her face again to try and ward off the two pillows being swung at her. She leaned back a bit, then gave her pillow a shove forward at Wolf, bringing it back closer to her defensively again afterward.

Wolf ignores the shove Reena gave him and keeps swinging at her from either side to see if he could overwhelm her.

"Eeeee, no!" Reena laughed from behind her pillow. She started shuffling back on her knees to get some space between them, all the while huddling behind her pillow shield.

As Reena backed up, Wolf moves forward until he's against the edge of the bed. He keeps swinging at her.

"You gonna give up?" he asks.

"Only if you tell me!" Reena replied through her laughter.
Her slightly damp hair was all blown around from the repeated impacts, but she couldn't take the opportunity to try and strike back yet.

"You know, usually the one who's losing doesn't get to demand or request anything." he replies, smirking a little, "Other than mercy usually."
