Beginning of a Journey

Reena kept mostly quiet through the start of their meal, catching up with a couple of things on her phone and posting updates to her social media sites. After a few minutes, though, she looked over at Wolf.
"Is it good?" she asked him.

Wolf had eaten a fair portion of his cooked food when Reena spoke to him. He looks over at her.

"It's not bad." he says, "I have no complaints."

"Good to hear," Reena smiled. She was quiet another few moments. Finally she added, "Any idea what your plans for today might be yet?"

Wolf shakes his head slightly.

"I don't really know yet." he replies, "I have options I just haven't decided on which one yet."

"Ah, decisions, decisions," Reena said, "Well, there's no real hurry. Checkout time isn't until two for me so we can still do whatever we want until then."

"So... how much time does that give us?" he asks.

"Well, it's a little after nine now," Reena replied, "So about... four and a half hours."

"Hmmm... okay. That's a lot of time." he says.

He returns his attention to eating his breakfast.

"Yeah, it is," she agreed.
Reena followed suit and continued eating her food as well.

"How about you?" Wolf asks, "Anything you are thinking of doing before then?"

"Nothing much has come to mind yet, to be honest," Reena admitted, "I don't wanna just sit around in the room and watch tv, but I don't really know what's around here yet either."

"Is there anyway you could find out?" he asks, "That would give you something to do."

"Oh yeah, I usually ask around or just check online," Reena replied, "I could probably look online now, actually." She looked down at her phone, tapping the screen a couple of times.

"I'm sure you could finish eating first." Wolf says, smiling slightly.

"Hm?" Reena paused and looked at him. "Oh." She smiled. "Yeah, that's true," she admitted, "There's not a big hurry or anything."

He smirks slightly as he resumes eating.

Reena went ahead and set her phone to the side for now. She continued eating as well. By this point, she was about done with her cooked food and had the fruit set to the side.

Wolf finishes with the cooked portion of his food and then drinks some of his water. He then turns his attention to eating his first piece of fruit.

Although she had less food than Wolf, Reena had been toying with her phone enough that she didn't finish her cooked food until after him. She didn't start eating either of the two fruit she had picked up, though. Instead, the dog sat back in her chair, looking quite content as she held her glass in one paw and was taking her time in finishing off the juice left in it.

Wolf looks over at Reena as he eats his fruit. He pauses eating after a few more moments.

"Are you thinking of having any more?" he asks.

"Nah, I feel pretty good now," Reena replied. She gestured briefly to the fruit she had. "I'll take these with me in case I need a snack later, though," she added.

"Okay." Wolf replies, "I'm thinking of getting a bit more."

He glances back over to the buffet table, check to see what's left at a distance.

"Yeah, if you're still hungry, you should go for it," Reena encouraged, "That's what it's there for, after all."

"Of course." he replies, "I'm just trying to decide if I want more of what I had or if I want something different."

"Ahh, gotcha." Reena nodded.
She brought the glass back up to her muzzle and proceeded to finish off the rest of her apple juice. The glass was set back down and she took a few moments to look around at others in the room.
