An Evening At Ease

A few mins pass and she gets up. "It should be cooled off now." She says with a smile. She then begins to proceed to the kitchen.

Adrian opened one eye as she was making her way into the kitchen. "Pie must be ready then." He then got up from the couch and followed her into the kitchen.

As she stepped foot int o the kitchen, the aroma of the pie had almost pulled her in nose first. She tried to not rush to the pie and walked to it causally. She picked up the pan that was now cooled off and placed it on the table. She then walked toward the cabinet to take out dishes and a knife.

Adrian then walked over to Midokou as she was setting up plates. "It looks really delicious." He said as he was overwhelmed by the wonderful aroma from the purry berry pie.

She smiled at him and said."Which is why you get to have the first slice." She places a slice of the pie on to his plate and pushes forward to him.

Adrian looked up at Midokou and smiles at her as she handed him the first slice of pie. "R-really? Why me?" He asked.

"Because it's my thanks to you for saving me from falling earlier today!!" She said with a big smile. "I hope you enjoy it."

"Thank you very much." He said with a big smile on his face as he turns his head back to the pie on the table. He then reaches his arm out to grab a fork to pick up a piece of pie and then the takes his first bite. "...Words...cannot describe...how wonderful this taste!" He exclaimed with so much excitement in his voice.

She smiled at him gently as she watched him eat a piece of one of the best tasting homemade natrual pies ever. She then cut a slice for her slice for herself as a mini reward to their baking. She sits down at the table and stares down at the pie. As she was about to pick it up and eat it she says to him. "You can copy the recipe from my cook book if you like." She says as she takes a bite out of the pie. Her mouth tingled from the sweetness."MM...so good." She whispered to herself.

Adrian took another bite of the purry berry pie, loving every bit of it. He then turned to Mido and gently smiled. "You know, I might just do that." He said as he chuckled a little bit.

She stops eating and slows the last bite she had from her slice then says to him."You know you can have more if you want, it was meant for you after all." She smiles and goes back to eating her slice.

Adrian kept eating the delicious pie until  he was down to his last slice. After she had told him she could have more, he then turned to Midokou smiling and says to her, "Really? I can have more? Then sure I'll take another slice then." He then grabbed the knife to cut out another slice for him.

She smiled as she watched him eat the pien decided to get up and walked towards the window. "Well, then," She started while looking out. "What will you do after were all done with it? You have any where you need to go?"

Adrian looked up at her as he took another bite of pie. "I'm not sure. I was probably gonna go visit my hometown and see how things are over there." He said.

"Your home town? Is it far?" She asked curiously.

"Yeah. It's quite a distance." He said looking out of the window.

She looked down for a minute and started tothink. THen she summed up the courage to ask"Well...could I come with you? " She wondered.

Adrian looked from the window and over to Midokou. "Umm...sure. you can come if you want to, but why do you want to come with me?" He said while wondering.

She was thinking to herself "((Maybe someone there could help me...))" "I'm kinda curious about how your place is like,...if you don't mind." She says hoping she not burdening him.

Adrian thinks to himself as he glances over to her. "Is she ok? She seems like she has something on her mind." But he decides not to pester her about it and put on a smile. "Oh ok then. We will depart whenever you're ready." He says as he goes to look back out of the window.

She smiles happily and says"Oh! Let me go grab a few things for the trip!" She runs out the kitchen and stumbles a bit while going up the stairs.

"Ok then. You do that." Adrian said with a slight chuckle. As Mido went to prepare, he went towards the couch to sit and wait.

As she stepped into her room, she looked around for her bag and started t o pack in a few things she thought may be useful for the trip. She didn't wanna pack to much since it was a ways from home."Okay!..' She aid in a serious quiet voice to herself. She flung her bag on her back and began to walk back down the steps.

Adrian looked over and saw that she was coming down the stairs and then got up from the sofa and walked towards Mido. "Are you ready?" He asked.

She looked at him and smiled then nodded."I know it may be little scary...but....I really would like to come please!" She said again as she reached the bottom of the stairs.
