:Unbreakable Chains: - No Escape

Watching the ordeal take place with panicked eyes, Ebonia tried to comprehend, tried to make out who the people were, the slavers, the ones keeping them here. Looking back to Cyril and then towards the two that entered the room however, she was on edge. A reaction like that never meant anything good...

Her heart however sunk when she was pointed at, and she stepped hesitantly back, but got caught by the wrist and dragged. "Wh-What, what's this about-Hey!" She struggled against the grasp. Normally this would be no problem and she'd be able to beat them senseless, but she was so weak and already hurt that, well... she couldn't do anything. It made her feel helpless.


Brought straight to the phoenix, she winced, looking her in the eye, unsure what was coming next.

Silence. Despite all the commotion around there sat a silent tiger. No fight in her body that seemed to be in a ridiculously bad state. She was skinny enough to show her ribs through the fur as well as those boney hips. Now if anything, the golden furred tiger looked like crap. With the marks of small scars and wounds not fully healed up. So she just sat in the cage, empty eyes aimed at the ground.

Honestly this was not a new kind of situation for her. But if anything, it wasn't as bad as her normal conditions. This felt like that small break so desperately needed from everything. Something that would just come and demand the cost back soon enough. The softest sigh escaped Lilith as she practically held her breath, not wanting to draw attention to herself.

Deux withdrew, curling up even further than he had, when the mule entered their cell and picked the woman up. He wanted to do something, but he knew he couldn't, it was no use. At one point, he could almost feel himself stand up but at the thought of anything worse happening to him he almost hugged the metal floor of the cage. He used his feet to push himself back into a corner- a dark corner- so that maybe the mule, the phoenix and the cat would not notice him. He covered himself with his striped tail. Small tears rolled down his face. He was scared, very scared. 

Aries had stopped banging on the cage with the chains when the armadillo had entered the room. He looked at the three that were now in the room as best he could. He glared at all three of them, raising his arms in an attempt to act tough but his bad, battered conditions combined with the chains did not really help him to look any intimidating at all. Not to mention he already felt incredibly weak. He hovered there watching them though, then turned to Deux. He focused completely on Deux. They had better not lay a hand on him, that's what he thought to himself.

"Make the others watch. Drag them from their safe corners - I want to set an example for the rest of them," Noose ordered with a side glance, her fingers reaching for that curled whip at her waist. She unhooked it, it trailing across the ground as she felt it within her hands. Slowly. Teasingly. Letting the ginger cat before her take in exactly what she was holding. The blue cat seemed to be just... bounding from cage to cage, looking each person up and down from outside of the bars with a gleeful expression, that was until- "Dux. Come here," from the phoenix, which the feline complied to (with a light whine and sagged ears).

She took a step forward, looking Ebonia over carefully, like examining meat upon a plate for any inconsistencies and faults with the meal. The whip trailing side to side and dragging against the ground, making sure the weapon in hand was illuminated by the light in the room. And then, she asked one simple question towards her;

"What is your name?"

Eyes widened, noticing the whip, she was on edge. She was free from the cell, but that wasn't worth it at this point. The cat watched the phoenix drag the whip, and her heart was beating quite fast. Her blue jacket and shorts were slightly torn, but they were in tact and securely fastened on her. Her hair was a bit of a mess, but she'd done her best to make it look normal again. She in general was trying to keep looking decent the whole time as an act of distraction.

Upon the question being suddenly presented to her, she paused, hesitating... "E-E..." She quickly shook her head, and said it. "Ebonia Roxas." Keeping her eyes on the pheonix, more importantly the rope, she was on edge, almost trembling.

"A simple whipping?" snorted the mule, "That's going easy on them, Noose. Is the boss still ticked off with what you did to the last batch? You might as well let you 'pet' use this one as a scratching post!"

Amber's eyes watched the phoenix drag the ginger cat from her slouched position, observing the whip held by the fire bird. She caught one of the 'captures' call them slaves. Was this what this was? A slavery house for them to rot away? A churn of twisted emotions built in her chest, making her sick, wanting to vomit. But there was nothing in her stomach to vomit out. 

Why? 

No one would know, no one would care if she died there, right then. Not even G.U.N. For all they cared, she was a tool. Not even an agent. Friends? She'd be damned lucky to call her scarf a friend. No, she did not want to end there. Not yet. Not until she had someone, just one person, to remember that she existed, that she was here. The whip and beatings churned her stomach more. Despite not being able to feel pain, a bad beating would cause her injuries she couldn't realize. And she'd be dead before she even knew what was going on. 

And she didn't want that.

Managing to straighten herself, she glanced at the young raccoon curling up on the floor. Her movements making the chain clink against the metal cage, she put a hand on his arm, as if checking whether he was alive.

Ignoring the comment from the mule with a simple smirk towards the cat, she brushed it aside knowing she knew exactly what she was doing. She knew how to handle them. How to break them in. How to make them fear the concept of freedom itself and that they'd always crawl back to her if given the chance. It was a skill she was good at, and she did dearly knew it. A comment from a bulk of muscle who looked like he didn't know left from right wasn't one to sway her. It set a bad example of her to the stock, after all. And whatever the so-called 'leader' thought, she would do this her way.

"Wrong."

The whip came down like a bolt of lightning upon her, striking Ebonia's face with vicious ferocity that would leave it throbbing with agony for hours upon end. The crack that followed was sharp and sweet, yet the sound itself would sting the ears with fear for those who heard it.The movement was quick, precise, calculated and all the phoenix did was stare boredly. Her voice echoed through the dark chambers of the room, ensuring that no matter how much the others tried to block it out, they would hear.

"Try again. What is your name?"

((If you fix your character a little then you're accepted, Ruby. Others may post and stuff, I'll hold off my response after this one for a little bit. Possibly put a posting order on if people think that's a good thing to do.))

And upon the crack of the whip, the Orange cat gave a loud cry of both shock and agony as the tip slapped hard, digging into her face and cutting it down the side. Immediately her stance faltered and she dropped knto one knee, hand pressed hard against her face. She was hissing in pain, and she winced hard.

Looking towards the Phoenix with pleading eyes she quickly said out loud again "Ebonia Roxas! I'm not lying!" She wasn't catching on to what the Phoenix actually wanted her to say.

"This one don't get it, Noose." snorted the mule, halling Ebonia back to her feet "I bet your pet would do better to toy with her then just whipping her face off. Beside, the boss did say they was going to be a few more coming this week."

((Since it's been a few days, I'm gonna go ahead and post? I really don't wanna leave people in the dust but I don't want this RP to die :c ))

"If I wanted your input, ass, I would have requested it," though she didn't bother to even glance at him, she was too focused on making the feline before her realise what she truly was. Were the others watching? Well, she had ordered them to. And if they weren't when she turned around? Ah, well lessons would have to be learnt. She did glance to the side, noting each little captive on who wasn't watching this little performance she was putting on. That was quite a few.

The phoenix glared daggers at the armadillo in the doorway, instantly barking an order at him - "Make them watch," she hissed, "Or I'll see that your inability to be useful is corrected with my own personal methods." Attention back on the cat.

"Wrong."

The whip came down on Ebonia's throat with all the brutality and harshness of the first strike.

"Try again. What is your name?"

Watching fearfully,tails curled around himself, the kitsune sits,hugging his knees as he watches the phoenix,careful not to look into her eyes. He would have turned away but,being familiar with her..methods.. he watches.

Deux looked up at the wolf with fear in his eyes. He didn't know what was going on, so he pulled away at first but a quick glance over showed him that she was also trapped here- like him. He looked down at the cage floor, sad that he even jumped to conclusions so quickly in the first place when it was clear she was just trying to see if he were okay or not. He was okay. He gave a light nod, then looked over at what was happening outside of the cages.

Immediately, Deux covered his head, burying his face into his knees so he wasn't made to watch the brutal scene. He was very clearly shaking, almost so much that the chains themselves rattled. It was scary, he didn't want to see anymore of it, so he kept his face in his knees and lowered his ears. He waited for it to end. 

Aries, on the other hand, watched. He hovered to the ground and stayed there, occasionally closing his eyes whenever the whip lashed out again. How could anyone do this? It was horrible. He wished he could do something, but he knew that being so weak there was nothing anyone could do. He laid there and watched. It was horrible, absolutely horrible.

Hearing the command, the armadillo stepped further into the room, trying to not act flinched; the leader, or more, the hirer of the slavers had warned him about the phoenix's reputation.

It made him uneasy hearing her threat, and he quickly obeyed, acting all tough. "You 'eard her. Watch or you'll face the penalty of being... disobedient." He said harshly, his words being extremely deep and gruff. Taking out a knife, the armadillo grinned. "By that, I mean you'll be left with only one of your pretty eyes working... so do as you're told." He hissed, threateningly.

Ebonia meanwhile was panicking. She was on her feet, she had tears welling up in her eyes, and she still felt the nasty sting from the whip. Her ears suddenly dropped a little when the phoenix looked back at her properly. Even more so when she said the word 'Wrong' again.

Trying to move out of the way but being unable to, the whip slapped like lightning onto her throat, making her scream out again, quickly grasping her throat and breathing, gagging slightly. She fell forwards, onto her hands and knees, holding her throat with one hand, before thinking what they could want her to say.

After a brief moment of harsh, panicked thinking, she weakly said. "I... I don't HAVE a name..." Her hair was hanging down, touching the floor beneath her. Looking up and hoping that she gave the right answer, Ebonia winced, the tears that had built up rolling down her face onto the floor.

     Ollie woke to the sound of rattling chains,painfilled screams,and the sound of screams and the feelings of pain,extreme tiredness,and fear."Ek!" Ollie tryed to jump to her feet but the giant heavy shackles on her hands,feet,and legs made her stay put on the ground.After a spam of hyperventaling the echidna tryed to look around to find that every thing was a blur,she must not have her glasses on.
    Ollie tryed to search her pockets on her coat for her glasses case only to find it was gone and that her black turtle neck sweater and pants where ripped by what looked like what was a whip"What on Mobius happened to me..."She whispered.
     The echidna looked around the room again hoping for some clue but all she saw was pitch blackness and what might be a small lamp glowing a dull yellow to light a small part of the room.Ollie then turned her attention to the sound of rattling chains.Because all she saw was just a blur of fur Ollie crawled on her hands and knees to reach it.Ollie then crashed into the cage"Ow!"that only added to the growing headache of stress that was growing her her mind.
    Ollie looked up again to see a blurry image of a blue raccoon in other cage hiding his face in his knees shaking heavily"H-hey are you oka-y..."Her voice sounded rusty and unused to her surprise.

Her eyes lost its steel to see the young boy stirr. She pulled her hand back and cringed at armadillo's rough, and loud command. She reached her hands up to her ears, and covered them, held them flat against her head. One hand shakily reaching down to her pockets to searcg for her earplugs... Only to find they were missing. Eyes narrowing, lips curving into a wince, she kept her eyes to one point. To where the armadillo and phoenix directed them to look. She had to be careful. She had always been carefully. There was absolutely no reason to change that. Amber may not be able to feel pain, but that privalage was a double-edged blade. It occurred to her that if she were to be punished, she would be the first to die.

"Quiet You Lot!" barked the mule with a high growl, then returning his attention to Noose, "You know I have a name, Noose! Use it once in a while!"

The mule made a slight glance at Amber, knowing full well that she was suffering as well with all the shouting going on.

As Deux was curled up in a corner, trying to block out the rest of the world, Aries continued to watch. He frowned as the woman gave up on even having an identity at all. That, in itself, was a terrifying thing. Were they nothing now? Aries was angry, almost to the point of wanting to hurt something, but he couldn't.

He clenched two fists tightly, and looked down. He didn't want to watch anymore, he didn't want to look at anyone's faces anymore. He couldn't speak, he couldn't fight, but he damn well wanted to. It hadn't even been that long, but it felt like it'd been forever, and he already wanted to crack the skulls he knew he couldn't. It wasn't over yet, he couldn't lash out when the slavers were around- he knew but... he had to wait. He had to wait, he knew he had to.

Ollie was terrified. She might not have be able to see the brutal whipping but she could hear it.She wanted out of this cage and this place now!As in right now!Ollie crawled around the cage hoping to find a lose bar,a key,anything of a means of escape.
But to her disappointment she found nothing but a long scrap of dirty fabric.
Ollie nearly began to sob but was stopped by the fear of the owner of that mean voice would hear her and chose her as her next victim.She crawled into a corner and hugged her knees shivering violently.Then quietly said to her self"...I want to go home..."(Sorry it's so short I kinda have nothing to go on)

Weaknesses: Impatient at times, overheats easily in heat, seeing he is from a cold climate.
Other notes of interest: Pandor was carrying an overlarge quiver that had 6 different weapons within (2 swords, one wrapped in a cloth, the other flowing with electricity, a mace that is hot to the touch and fire red in color, 2 handguns, one light grey, the other ice blue in color, and a shotgun that was white and radiated a bright aura), all crafted by him. They were stolen when he was captured. Pandor still wears his smithing apron.

There was a pause, a tension in the air as the feline gave her answer, a lingering uncomfortableness that stained the atmosphere as the Phoenix stared with the slightest of smirks. It remained a second longer, as she slowly trailed her whip against the floor in a teasing manner, as if contemplating.

"Correct."

She motioned with a hand towards the cages, signalling the mule to shove Ebonia back within, ignoring the comment he made about his name. She slipped her whip back into place against her waist as she wandered calmly to the central point of the room, hands behind her back and a grin heavily plastered on her face.

"Listen up, stock. I'm going to say this once, since once is all you'll need to get it into your obedient little heads. You are stock. Your existence is to work. You will work, you will reach expectations, and then when you die you will be replaced. You are nothing but tools for a greater cause. You are nothing," she straightened her back, "And you will not do anything without my permission. You will speak when asked. You will work when asked. You will not complain, as you have no right to." She eyed each and every person within the cages, yet not with enough interest that she was actually properly looking at them, "One at a time. What are you and what is your purpose?"

"You'd best answer her." snorted the mule, as he tossed Ebonia back into the cell, "Or you'll be lucky to survive the night."

The mule eyed the all of the others in the cells as no one seem to want to move first.

Ollie wondered what her hero 'Katey Collie' would do a situation like this.Most certainly not give up!She would tell those big bullies off then attack them with her magic whip!Courage regained Ollie sat up straight again,wiped away her tears, and tryed to speak..but nothing came out.Ollie glared at her throat 'Of all the times for my sore throat to get worse!'
