Proposal for Gaining New Members!

Hello, our esteemed members and visitors!

Some big changes are taking place behind the curtains in the Sonic Roleplay Nation's administration! As many of you know, we've taken on some new Administrators and Moderators to look after the forum, and with a now expanded team of staff to help out members, we've decided to try our hands at getting some more members for them to help out!

For quite a long time now the SRN has had its own private Discord server for members to interact and socialize with one another, and we don't want to take that away from anyone. However, in recent months, Discord has introduced a Disboard feature to advertise servers! Don't be alarmed! We don't plan to make the SRN discord server public to everyone, but we do hope to be able to make it its own way of gathering fellow lovers of Sonic Roleplay.

Our plan is to have a "Newbies Portal" Where people browsing the Discord server lists can join into, this won't have any impact at all on our already existing members, you are safe! We in the admin & mod team will do a few checks with them and make sure any new members plan to abide by the rules, as well as be a contributor on the Forum rather than becoming a hive of dormant users.

With the checks complete, new members will be allowed to have access to the rest of the forum and interact with everyone!

What we've just detailed is the hope and dream of the new staff, but we would never let a dream get in the way of our long-standing member's own comfort zones. If you have any objections, feedback or recommendations, please let us know!
